The principal Dana Herzber has helped me grow so much in my creativity and truly is one of the kindest people you will ever meet. Dana is so involved with her students that you can't tell she truly cares. Dana has encouraged me to follow my dreams and has a wonderful team that spreads the same message. The staff at JGS is one of the many reasons I love to go to school! The teachers are truly the definition of a team! I can honestly tell you that Jones Gordon is my home away from home. Teachers like Ms.Anderson, Ms. Katz, Mr. Cunningham, Mr. Tarter, Mr. T, and Ms. Esper, they are the best teachers that I have seen by far since 2019. The biggest issue in the school is the cliche got money type of attitude. This is what tends to be detrimental to the kids or the experience at the school. However they do have some programs that actually show that they do care about the community and their students. The biggest complaint I've had at the school by far has been the parking lot. I have seen multiple accidents in the parking lot because parents are not paying attention when pulling out of parking spaces or trying to get out of the parking lot in general. The school has had it observed several times and it's the best flow that they have had in the district but they're still issues that need to be addressed. It does help that they have officers who are here throughout the day during that time to actually direct the traffic as well as the school resource officers.

They have prepared him so well, emotionally and education wise. We were a relocation and the scottsdale school quickly became our support system and new family. They were so warm and welcoming. Each teacher made a point to know us and our children. The owner is incredible, I don't think you will come across another preschool owner who is so invested. The education, parent involvement, parties, concerts, art shows, the list goes on. It's outstanding all around. I have a little who is currently there currently, and when he graduates it will be a very hard day for us as we feel this school to be so special. I have had many friends transfer due to inadequacies at other schools and they are all so impressed and wished they moved sooner.

I know it takes a great office staff to make a school great, and this office staff is unhelpful, unfriendly, unable to think outside the box, or work around issues to solve problems. The burden is consistently on the parent and they have done nothing to make our transition an easy or pleasant one. This is my third interaction in the office for various, yet very simple reasons, and once again, I am left dissatisfied as a parent of children in this highly respected school.

So we chose Cheyenne because of its great reputation for curriculum, teacher-led learning & traditional model and we were thrilled to get in! My daughter's experience at Cheyenne has been wonderful. Her teacher is excellent! My daughter's handwriting is perfect and she's reading and writing complete sentences. She's understanding phonograms and is excited to go to school every day. The school is organized well. The teachers are kind & warm. It is easy to get prompt replies from staff when communicating. I LOVE the uniforms. No concern about who's wear what brand etc. We have met some wonderful parents and have really like that parents are involved in their children's education at Cheyenne. From the moment we joined the school community, we could see why so many families speak so highly of it. The staff is truly wonderful and many of them have been there for years, which says a lot about the environment and leadership. Everyone we've interacted with has been personable, responsive, and genuinely happy to be there. The PTO also goes above and beyond to bring joy and support to both the students and the teachers, which creates such a positive atmosphere on campus. There are so many incredible people at the school. Molly has been wonderful, and my daughter absolutely adores her kindergarten teacher, Miss Hayes. Miss Quandt, the art teacher, is also so inspiring, my daughter comes home excited to talk about what she's learning in art. And the Principal Miss Baca is truly exceptional. She's a fantastic communicator, wonderful with both parents and kids, and you can tell she deeply cares about the students and the community. We feel very lucky to have her leading the school. I also appreciate that the kids wear uniforms and are taught to treat each other with dignity and respect. The structure at the school helps children understand expectations and take pride in doing their best. The red and yellow light discipline system gives clear guidance about behavior, and it's evident that the students understand it and respond positively to that structure. Overall, we have been incredibly happy with our experience. It's a supportive, structured, and caring environment where kids can truly thrive. We are so excited for both of our children to be part of this wonderful school community in the years ahead.

Our daughter went there for 3-4 years before moving on to Basis for Kindergarten. We now have our son there because we know the great quality of care and consistency. We especially LOVE Miss LIXIA!!! She's caring, attentive and our son adores her. They recently upgraded their systems that help check in and check out a lot swifter and easier for the parents. They have a key pad for parents to enter the premises, an extra layer of security which I do appreciate.
