We've…read morecome to love having shade available at the push of a button and decided that adding a second long solar-powered screen at the "L" of our patio would cut down even more heat and glare both indoors and out (in tandem forming a 14' x 12' shady corner). JD Martinson came to measure and check materials, and within a few weeks, the new exact-match product was ready to roll. The two installers did an expert job of drilling the guyline into our porcelain tile and helping us decide exact placements. The materials on our first sunshade have held up beautifully, so there's no fading/color variation on the fabric or the metal housing, and both screens look brand-new and precisely matched. The installers made it a seamless process, cleaning up debris with care and taking the time to do the job right. Since we know what a game-changer these sunscreens are, we're even more excited to put them to work as a set. Outstanding, start to finish -- and such an easy way to have it made in the shade this summer and for years to come! *** FANTASTIC service and product! SW Sun Control installed a 12-ft auto-retractable shade with a fitted cover on the side edge of our patio, and the process was perfect start to finish. JD gave us a quick, accurate bid, with no hidden charges, and he did an excellent job of helping us select fabric/housing colors (which complement our stucco even better than we expected from viewing the swatches). The crew came on schedule, and installation was seamless. We waited several months to write this review, to see how the unit would perform over time, and we're happy to report that it's all working beautifully -- the solar-powered motor functions exactly as designed, the remote is strong enough to use indoors or out (even wall-mounted vertically inside the house), and the shade rolls up incredibly smoothly, with no telescoping or other issues. We absolutely love the product, and it's installed in a location that gives us shade not only on our patio but also at our indoor dining table, which is an excellent bonus. The fabric is great too, allowing the right amount of light and air flow. So happy we chose SW Sun Control, and we highly recommend the whole team!

They called and schedule a time to come out, technician comes to the door on the phone with someone else (very unprofessional). I show him the ice maker which hadn't been working properly for several months. He says "there's ice stuck in there thats why it's not working". I say I know Captain Obvious thats why I called for it to be repaired. I explained to him the issues i was having and he doesn't even look at the ice maker and says we will order a new one. It takes a week and a half with no response and I have to call them for an update. Miraculously they say the picked up the new ice maker that day. I schedule a time for them to come out and the technician installs it and says it should make ice in about 3 hours....no luck doesn't work. I leave 4 text messages to the owner with no response. I finally call him and he says he will call me back to schedule a time to come look at it. 2 days later no response so i call him and he says "he's trying but they are really busy". Still no definite time given they will come to look at it. This goes on for several more days. I finally call warranty company to complain and they put in another claim...i confirm with the owner that they got the new claim and he would call to schedule an appointment. 3 more days pass and no communication. I called warranty company again and they reach the owner and he lies to them and tells them he "texted me but i never responded". I have since transferred the claim to another contractor. This company is beyond amateur hour. Zero organization and communication skills. If you like waiting for several days to get a response for subpar work they are the number 1 company to call!

To date, the only work completed has been the installation of cabinets. No sink, dishwasher, or functional kitchen has been provided. As of January 25, 2026, my home still does not have a usable kitchen. This has created serious hardship for my household. My mother lives with me and is a disabled senior citizen who uses a walker. The unfinished kitchen leaves her with limited and unsafe space to move around, and we have been unable to properly prepare meals for months. While my family went without a kitchen for Thanksgiving and Christmas, Southwest Home Repair experienced no such hardship, despite having been paid in full. This situation has caused ongoing stress, inconvenience, and financial harm. I have contacted Southwest Home Repair numerous times. When they respond, they repeatedly state they will return "tomorrow" or "next Monday," but they never show up. They have also failed to provide any receipts, invoices, or documentation for the payment received, despite repeated requests. This project was handled as an insurance claim, and Southwest Home Repair stated the amount charged was necessary to complete all kitchen repairs. However, the work remains largely unfinished with no accountability or timeline for completion. So here we are over 2 years this place has no clear timeline of when they can finish a job. Yes I get it dishwasher, ovens and what not are easy stuff they should be good at that. But the big MAN blue collar jobs they can find people or the help to finish jobs. Lol what a joke place.
