The office at stone oak stated one thing and did not deliver up to what they stated initially with my first visit, which is frustrating. I will give a company a chance and did try a second time. After my second visit I did not notice any changes and it was a lengthy second visit. I could not see the point in wasting my funds for a service that for me personally did not appear to do anything. The facial care provided was not terrible but also not my favorite, nor relaxing. For those that do appreciate the company I think it is great. Do not go here. I had my upper and lower abs done, as well as my waist. Afterward, I was left with a lumpy, bumpy , embarrassing mess. I went back in for what they called a " touch-up". Well, after that I looked exactly the sameme. They left a ridge of fat in my upper abs. I did all of the after instructions just like they said. Tonia assisted after I complained about my results. The dr said to get rid of thigh cellulite that I need to be cut from my thighs to my back to bring up the cellulite. They wanted more money. I paid 16000.00 to remove fat from inside and outside my thighs. The dr said it would remove my cellulite and fat from my thighs so I went with what he suggested. Then after the surgery he said no you need another surgery. I still have cellulite and fat thighs. I still can't wear shorts. Go somewhere else to where they guarantee results. They do not guarantee results, they say well that didn't work , pay more money. They also want me to pay more Venus treatments. The staff at Sono Bello were amazingly friendly and helpful. However, please do your research with these procedures before committing. I went for a consult and felt extremely pressured to commit to treatment. I signed my contract before I left. Unfortunately, due to medical reasons I was unable to go through with the procedure - although I was told by the person at Sono Bello that my health issues wouldn't be a problem (ultimately my doctor said otherwise). I did my research after the fact and found many others felt pressured into signing. Mixed reviews on care and level of quality, however I will say those I interacted with at SA were great. read more

First off, my consultation was like speaking to a car salesman- even though they say they aren't there to sell you anything. When asked how much I wanted to spend, I told them my max. I was then told it would need to be more if I really wanted it to be worth it. I reluctantly agreed, and paid an additional amount. The surgery itself was going ok until they had to reposition my belly button- it was worse than my two c-sections, Gall bladder, and hysterectomy. I could feel every little poke and pull, and they said i had to "do my best." So now I have a deformed belly button, and according to my gyno, a lot of scar tissue which made it hard to do my hysterectomy. Dr. Patrick Schaner is great, I just have a few days after surgery I don't feel like a bus ran over me. During the procedure I did state that I could feel a bit of pain and he listen and gave me more local anesthesia where I was feeling the pain. During the procedure I felt safe. The client coordinator Verenia was very personable and she answered all my questions. She help me through the financial part of the procedure. I cannot say thank you enough to the nurses who were by my side during the surgery. These ladies are great and sweet. Warning Long Post Ahead Any elective procedure is a huge investment in time and money.  Most of us will research other  patient experiences prior to selecting someone to trust with our personal goals. I hope my review is helpful to anyone considering cosmetic surgery.  This encompasses multiple body areas divided into 2 surgical days over about four weeks. The pros of sono bello was the ease of scheduling, the clean practice and for the most part punctual appointments.  I found the front desk pleasant and helpful.  The surgeons were knowledgeable and provided their personal cell phone for any significant post-operative issues.  Included in my package was post op appointments and healing treatments. My technician during the healing treatments gets a big A+. The cons for me were the post op appointments.  My initial post op appointment was routine, but unfortunately when the staff member was encouraging me and praising my progress with my pre and post op photos, she failed to realize she was showing me another patient's pictures pre surgical, but more alarmingly did not recognize the pre op photos had large color tattoos where I have none.  My second appointment with the same provider I voiced initial concern they again had the wrong patient when some of the history she discussed was inconsistent and asked her to recheck the chart. The nurse stated she remembered the last visit and it was the "first and last time that ever happened".  She reviewed the paper record and stated it was correct and proceeded with the appointment.  And then... she called me by a different patient's name.  Again, my request was to recheck the demographics.  After excusing herself for several minutes, she returned stating it was another staff member's fault for providing her the wrong chart.  The rest of the encounter was not comfortable.  She did not visually inspect my multiple incisions, and she did not really offer any additional post op information of value. To be fair, I did not insist or demand a physical exam but was expecting one, as this is a postoperative visit and had mentioned to the initial technician some issues with my incision (my largest one is over 20 inches in length). My expectation was they would want to evaluate me in-office.  Only my weight was checked. However, even if she had asked me to remove my robe, my confidence in her medical advice was nil after misidentifying me twice. Needless to say, from a respect standpoint it is nice if someone knows your name after you invest thousands of dollars in their business. There is also a safety element. There is no point in a post op visit if you do not know who you are speaking with or what procedures were done or you are not going to look at the incisions. If not for the aftercare, I would have rated much higher.  Unfortunately this is a package experience and so far the post op appointments have detracted from my overall satisfaction.  I still have an additional post op visit and healing treatment to schedule and may update my review then. read more

Don't do it!!! First off, their web page says they have 25,000 five star reviews, but it doesn't state how many one star reviews they have, VERY misleading. From my first experience with Stephanie, I realized she is not a clinician, but a salesman who clearly had a quota she had to meet. As she hastily grabbed my body parts with no respect, she said I needed upper and lower abdomen , waist and hips which was $17,500...that was with a $2500 discount if I booked within the week. I wanted to book two weeks out because of my schedule, but would have lost the discount. So I booked as directed, all the while with this gut feeling in my stomach that this isn't going well and I am not a person, heck even a patient or client, but a number. Stephanie applied me for care credit after putting $1000 down and I was told I was approved. Only to find out in the days to come, that I was not approved (I received a declination letter in the mail). I knew there had to be an error because our credit and income is good. The Sona Bello staff, although pleasant told me not to worry about it that that happens all the time. After TEN lengthy phone calls through various telephone trees between Care Credit and Sono Bello, I found out that my address, social security number and telephone number were all entered incorrectly...thus the decline. My application ended up in the fraud department lost forever. Still, Sono Bello told me not to worry. I called everyday up until the day before my surgery with no positive outcome. The doctor: first of all I am an RN and my husband is an oral/maxillofacial surgeon. We know what good care looks like. The surgeon was arrogant, not interested in my questions. Dismissive of my concerns. I asked him what specifically were the pre op meds twice before he reluctantly told me. I clarified the doses which he didn't offer up until I pressed him further. I explained that my body metabolizes medicine different than the average person, citing some examples and offering him the number to the physicians who have worked with me in the past to explain their experience and why his "cocktail" would be ineffective for me. He rolled his eyes and said, "This is what we use; it is very effective." So again, this is the second person who refused to listen to me as a person. I do believe I know my body better than any experience he might have. I left with a knot in my gut, feeling anxious and unheard. Finally, when the day before the surgery was here and still no credit approval, they became concerned when I said I just wanted to cancel and started offering me 8 treatments of something post op for free so that I would get better results. I told Liz, the business manager, again, I feel like I am not being heard; "I want to cancel." Then she offered me a second opinion with another physician. Again, I said "I feel like I am in a cattle call and the whole goal is to get me to commit to something that everything in my body was screaming at me not to do. She finally agreed to a full refund which would take seven to ten business days to get back. Yet to be determined if Liz keeps her word on that. During all this time of being on hold, I started looking at reviews and was astounded at how many people had the same experience, and for those who went through the surgery had awful experiences with pain, healing and ineffective results. That sealed the deal for me. Do your research and ignore what all the commercials say. Not a good or ethical company. read more

My wife and I went in for a consultation for her and after a short wait we were seen by a woman who is appointed to conduct consultations. The first thing the consultant says is she's not a doctor but she's just as competent. Ok that's weird, I would hope that all personnel working there are competent without having to say so, to include the medically licensed personnel. The consultant then states that she does the initial consultations because doctors don't have time to meet with the patients. I thought that was weird as well and it didn't leave a good feeling about how this conversation was going to go. Basically this consultant came off as wanting to control the conversation. She was dismissive to my wife's questions and was condescending in her tone. When asked about the doctors and making sure my wife was comfortable with the specific doctor that might conduct the procedure the consultant basically laughed at my wife and wished her luck in finding a doctor that cared about that stuff because these doctors get in and get out. The consultant alluded that having a doctor care about each specific patient is non-existent in this field of care. The consultant told my wife that maybe she could teach the doctor how to care. Needless to say the consultation went downhill from there. My wife already feeling some anxiety about getting a surgical procedure done was left further unsettled by this person's dismissive and condescending attitude. After advocating for herself and expressing what she wanted in a doctor we were basically told that we could not find that here and were asked to leave. The consultant was overbearing, rude, and aggressive in her speech. She had a script and would not entertain any conversation that deviated from that. read more

The consulting team is amazing! Once I arrived I was greeted and offered bottle water or coffee. Once I filled out all the required documentation I was called to the back. I met with Verenia. She made me feel comfortable immediately. For one she's gorgeous and her spirit matched! I'm very self conscious and embarrassed by my body figure so her being helpful and kind helped me relax. At the end off the consult which lasted about an hour ( i didn't feel rushed she answered every question I had) I put down my payment to proceed with getting the laser Lipo! DO NOT DO IT. Not sure where to begin. I came in for a free consultation and Stephanie is down right rude. Yes, I'm obviously overweight but don't tell me to hold my roll of fat and say, all of that will be gone. I put a deposit down that day. 2 weeks later I come in for my pre op and the same week I pay the balance. The doctor tells me that a medication I am taking would interfere with the lidocaine. Dr. Westfield recommends that I go off my meds to be on the safe side. Says stop taking the prescription for 2 weeks, really it should be for 1 month. I can't believe he says that. All they care about is making money, forget my health and life. It takes almost 14 days for a refund. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. read more

First of all I didn't think I'd make my appointment because I live out in Hondo. My appointment was at 10:00am I called to let them know I'd be there by 10:15 and asked if I could still go the young lady said yes of course no problem. I was surprised, usually most places make you reschedule so as soon as I walked in I was greeted and filled out paper work. Everything was very quick and simple I liked the process. V explained everything in detail made me feel comfortable she was sooo sweet and such a great role model for Sono Bello she is inspiring and gorgeous and makes you feel just wonderful. Loved her spirit and energy, I like the pricing and specials it's really affordable I like that the down time is literally days not weeks in bed. I can't wait to see my results. Everyone there is very nice and personable makes you feel at home. I'd recommend this place to anyone. read more

My husband I went in today with our small children for a consultation. I have been wanting to get some work done for years. After years of contemplating and having the courage to finally go - we met with the worst consultant. She was very aggressive and entitled to what she was providing as a service. She didn't ease my anxiety or answer my questions. Any question I had was challenged. I wanted to feel comfortable and safe having surgery with Sono Bella but the consultant failed to do so. I told her that her energy was very strong and that I wasn't feeling comfortable. She basically said in return she didn't like my energy. She had the right to refuse service and proceeded to kick myself, my husband and kids out of her office. And she commented "wow, in front if your kids." She didn't treat me with dignity or respect. Rather she wanted me to be passive and whatever she said was how it was. She started saying their doctors had great bedside manner and then later said their doctors just go in and do the surgery. Good luck to me and that I can teach them to listen to me and be their therapist. So basically you are saying Sono Bella - you want my money but don't care about me as your patient/customer. That's so hurtful and embarrassing. My husband and I were completely shocked and left the facility shaken up. I still can't believe this was my experience. Definitely taking my out of pocket cost to a different surgeon. I wonder if it was a racist experience? We are a biracial couple and when we entered she commented about my kids being biracial. I said in my origonal review back in August 2015 I would up date it as i went along. I am not sure what happen to the review I posted at the beginning of this process but I can't find it. So this is where I am now. The left side of me looks great but the right side has a bulge that looks like an area that was completely missed in my lower abdominal and the right side of my waist. I have been wearing the compression garment as instructed but that is not helping. I guess I will be paying to have the right side retouched. It is a quick process especially the recovery time but I agree with other reviews I have read go to a plastic surgeon and get pricing. The recovery time may be longer but in the end the out of pocket may be a lot less. My original cost was over 7k for four areas which I didn't mind because the recovery was so fast and I didn't have to miss work but if I remember correctly I will need to pay half cost of the two sections to have it redone. I have tried to exercise to see if that would help but it just makes the areas stand out more. I guess it is a hit or miss procedure. I will try to find this post after my next check up and let you know in a dew months. read more

Buyers beware! Sono Bello in Stone Oak area has questionable practice. First of all, they do not seem to understand the basics of honoring an appointment; Second, heir office hours stated on their website are not consistent with their hours shown on their door. Third, they care ONLY about making money. You are at your own peril to seek treatment there. Real story. Upon receiving an appointment confirmation email from Sono Bello, I excitedly showed up at the time and date indicated in my email, only to find the office was completely shut. No light, no cars in the parking lot, not a soul. The contact number in my confirmation email had no response when dialed; the 800 number on the main web page was answered by someone in Atlanta who did not know what to advice me, as she did not know the actual availability of the office staff. The operator did attempt to leave a message to the staff After waiting another 15 minutes in front of the office, I saw a man pulling into the empty parking lot in a beat up SUV. He walked into the backdoor of the office with his head down as if he was trying to hide from someone. This whole experience is kind of creepy to say the least. If that unkempt man was a doctor working in this empty building, no woman in their right mind would undress to show her most intimate parts in an empty building to this suspicious man. Sorry Sono Bello, there are plenty of other services who would love to compete for your customers. read more

The consulting staff is very nice and friendly. Greden has always cheerfully answered my questions. Tanya, one of the nurses, has an extremely good bedside manner. She was very informative before and after the surgery; telling me what to possibly expect, etc. Unfortunately, not all the nurses are as wonderful as Tanya. My second surgery included more incisions than my first one, so I asked her to draw a picture as to where they would be. She completely forgot. She also forgot to tell the person who was taking care of me that day, about how long the surgery would take. They told us they would call said person minutes before my surgery; that never happened, and I had to wait 30 minutes for my ride to show up. The doctor took the time to carefully describe what needs to be done and what will be done. It is still too early to determine how my surgery turned out, but he has a great bedside manner and is very thorough. The only disappointing thing I have to say about him, is that he didn't remember what I told him about my meds. He prescribed a pill that I told him I had no use for. I also told him that I didn't need as much pain medication as he had prescribed during my last surgery. read more

I came in for consultation in January and V was very nice and upbeat made the decision easy for me. I had my very first cosmetic procedure ever at the Sonterra location done February 22nd. I had my outer thighs, inner thighs and hips done. I was extremely nervous! When the doctor came in and marked me up before surgery we talked again about my concerns and he was very honest, understanding, patient and willing to listen to my expectations and what I wanted out of the procedure as well as help me reach my goal as much as possible. My surgeon was Dr Kunasz and he is very talented, very patient and very gentle! I'm 4 days post OP and my 12 incisions look like hangnail size nicks. I have to feel for them when cleaning them they are so small. I can also see a difference beyond the swelling. I did not feel like a number at all here. I was treated very well by the staff, and I am a nervous and anxious person with many questions! After my procedure the office contacted me to see how I was doing and have been available to me by phone many times. They send you home with very detailed instructions and tips and these are given to you prior to surgery. Kim is very nice and friendly as well, very easy to communicate with. HI...... I am almost 10 days post OP for my abdomen lipo that was done this October and I am pleased. Im 47 and have had 3 kids and not exactly in shape by any means but i feel great about my results. For the first time in 20 years i know what it feel like to not have my gut sit in my lap. i can only assure you that now its all up to me to be sure that my stomach area can heal as flat as it can and thats by me staying hydrated and wearing my compression garments. Its true that you truly can get back to work within 3-4 days but everyone is very different in healing and body shape. Everyone is so helpful and careful to be sure that I was aware of everything that will happen and that ALL my questions were answered. I do go back in November to get my hips and waist done and then I just cannot wait to see how I am shaped when Im all thru healing. Ashley was very knowledgeable and very professional. Yea.....I was warned that my skin cannot go all the way back to tight.......but Im ok with that. I still shows that I have had 3 babies but Im looking long term and thats gonna come with a good healing process.....good food in my body....and an exercise program. So I got hounded over and over again till I actually told them to stop calling. Then the hounding began again a week later. So here's the thing about these people. This is an assembly line backed up by a massive marketing and what seems to be an even larger call center who essentially lie to get you in the door for a free consultation and then proceed to nickel and dime you to death. The doctors who I am sure are good people essentially go through the motions. Stay away and save your money. like I said go to Dr Jeneby an artist in his field instead of a sweat shop assembly line. read more

The initial consultation was very informative and candid by Berenia she did not sugar coat anything about the procedure. I was taken care very well by the staff during the whole process they are very knowledgeable and friendly. Since my procedure I have heard from them daily as to how I am doing and if their is anything they can do for me , Now the work is up to me with the proper diet and exercise I should achieve my goal and shape I so desire. So far so good. I had the laser lipo done 6 weeks ago on my upper amd lower abs, and my love handles. They only took 2.5 lbs out. But it's a noticable change. Most of the swelling has gone down. I'm also getting the Venus treatments done in the same areas. Karlotta is my tech. She's awesome. I'm always relaxed when I leave. Everyone there is super friendly. Let me start off by saying, I may not be 100 percent satisfied but I am very happy. Going in the consultation went very fast. They really don't give you much time to think about what your getting yourself into and don't tell you everything up front. The lady was more focused on making the sale. She was great but of course she was, she wants you to get it. I honestly walked in wanting it done n too scared to get a tummy tuck n felt this would be a quicker recovery. I got approved for credit, yay right. It was really rushed. Which is fine I guess. So I finally meet with the doctor. Totally not what I was told at first. So he said, I can Lipo bit you will still have fat. Fat behind your muscles etc places he can't get to so my stomach will not be completely flat. He said you will have to diet and work out to lose that. With that being said they make you sign a paper if you cancel you still have to pay. So I was pretty much unable to change my mind at this point. He did say I will be able to remove a lot of fat n it'll look good just not as skinny as I wanted. Something a tummy tuck could do but not Lipo and ex. So I got upper lower sides and ex which is skin removal. Skin removal is which actually helps the most because it tightens your stomach and gets rid of that loose skin that is mainly most women that have had kids have. It cost a lot yes. But doing payments makes it not so bad. So they provide me with scripts and tell me what to do before. I get to my appointment, they provide more meds. Certain areas like by the rib and belly button kind of hurt a bit during but for the most part, it didn't hurt. I actually feel asleep during the procedure. They wake me, show me the container and half of fat they pulled out and the skin the cut off. I was like wow ok. I get up and they show me how my stomach looks. Wow what a difference. The after picture was the same day as procedure so I'm still swollen. I was able to walk every two hours even though I was tired. The next morning I felt fine until later that night, I really felt it. But I have been able to walk and move around fine just nothing extreme. The meds they give you help a lot but be prepared to be on a low sodium diet after, this helps with the swelling n not as much pain. I ended up needing a draining tube but they took it out today on day 6. I'm still pretty swollen but that will last a while. 6 weeks for 60% result n 6 months for full results. Keep in mind you still should watch what u eat or you will just be putting fat back in your body so if you want good results, n keep off what they took. Eat clean, you can cheat here n there but low sodium diet for atleast the first few weeks. N still try to not add salts to your food for the first 6 weeks. I'm still taking the pain pills. But the pain is getting easier and easier. After a week, you receive the body suit and don't have to wear the compression belt anymore. Note wear that compression belt until you receive the body suit. It will help with swelling. So I guess now we wait till my final results. But as you can see below. Very difficult to work with, non-responsive and neglectful of their clients time or circumstances. They tend to be extremely delighted to see you and sell a product, but from there, customer service is some of the worst I've experienced. If an office manager can not make a call back within one full weeks time, there is a problem. The excuse? "She's very busy". Well, I'm paying you for my services and happen to be busy as well.
