I am so happy to give Sono Bello St.Louis a standing ovation of a review. I've changed my eating habits and have exercised regularly. There are still areas on me that are stubborn and lack the look I'm working so hard for. These areas include the upper and lower abs, waist and hips. For these areas, laser lipo was the best choice for me. I shopped around at two other body contour centers-One in O'Fallon and one in Clayton, before finding Sono Bello. The following reasons are why Sono Bello was the best choice: Online presence- I went to sono bello's website to get information before scheduling a consultation-which is free! Everything you need to know about the different procedures, before and after photos, reviews, you name it and it's there. Every certified doctor they employ is on the website alongside a photo and a resume. They even offer a chat with a representative. I chose to do the chat because I had questions about bmi and possibly scheduling an appointment after store hours. It was very clear that I was speaking to a real person. Representatives- From start to finish, everyone at Sono Bello has been so incredibly kind. There are a lot of people to thank for making me feel comfortable and confident i. Everyone I encountered was completely professional. Brittney, the receptionist helped me organize all of my appointment times-even with my crazy schedule. I had my consult with April. Besides being friendly, she gave me the in depth information I needed about the process, what to expect and financial options. There was absolutely no pressure and I felt like I was talking to a friend, not a sales person. I was able to email April directly for any questions. As busy as she is, she always responded right away. Medical Staff- My nurses-Kat and Jen were so fun and helpful. I was nervous to have the procedure done but they kept me in good spirits the whole time. I had my procedure done on 2/22/14 with Dr. Shatz. I met him during my post op-one week prior to the procedure. He was very kind, professional and told me exactly what to expect during and after the procedure. During, he made sure that I was comfortable regularly, as it was done with local anesthesia. Dr. Shatz also called me on two separate occasions post procedure just to see how I was doing. The Procedure- On the morning of the procedure, I took the required medication for pain, nausea and anxiety, a pregnancy test and I was ready to go. At this point, I was feeling very comfortable and relaxed. All nervousness was gone and I was ready to sleep. During, I was instructed to turn and do foot pumps regularly. It honestly felt like being woken up from a nap continuously. I remember feeling the incisions made but they felt like a routine shot. The tubes inserted into those incisions tickled. I remember giggling during and Dr. Shatz told me about it during a check up call. I don't know if laughter is a typical response, but I did! Before I knew it, it was over. My nurses bandaged me up and put me in a compression garment Post Procedure- my guardian took care of me for the next 24 hours. There was leaking of the tumescent fluid for the remainder of the night. It is red in color but not blood. I was sitting on towels and constantly changing out of clothes. None of my clothes stained but use clothes you don't mind getting stained anyways. I stopped leaking fluid the next day. I would recommend having a family member or friend watching over you the following day as well. Progress: During my first shower, I could already see my problem areas improved already! My upper abs shocked me and the indention that I have in their lower abs was almost nonexistent. My back muffin top is flush with my bottom and I can't believe it. I don't even know where to begin, I have been losing weight for about 5 years and working out. I was down about 40 pounds and struggling on some of my areas no matter how much I worked out. My husband saw a commercial for Sono Bello and told me about it. He said NOT that you need it but I know how hard you have been working so lets go see what it's about. The morning of my appt I was very nervous, my husband and I got there and then was greeted by Stephanie, She was amazing!!! She made me feel like I deserved this and talked to us a long time and addressed all our concerns. After making my appointment I got home and google Sono Bello, after reading all the bad things about it I started to have second thoughts and wanted to cancel. After googling Sono Bello St Louis I felt a little better, Finally positive things being said. I called Stephanie and told her I was having second thoughts after reading bad reviews and everything she said made me feel better. I know what you are thinking, that is her job and that's how I felt too.... SO moving forward to the day of surgery, I had my upper and lower stomach done, my hips done and they extracted my fat from my lower stomach. My Doctor was AWESOME!! the surgery nurse was AWESOME, they really took the time to make sure I was comfortable. I went home and was very sore, not going to lie it was more pain then I thought I could take. I was very surprised at how fast you could see a difference even with all the swelling. 2 weeks later I had my arms and inner thighs done. I want to say that I didn't feel any pain at all during this, YES they keep you awake during the process and constantly asked if I was okay. My only pain was my right arm during the surgery. I just had my 3 month post op appointment with Nurse Amber and I am VERY HAPPY and so is my husband about my results so far and I still have some swelling. I want to say that for the most part eat low carb, work out 3 days a week and I will NOT let this be for nothing. It was a lot of money and painful but I'm so happy my husband thought I was worth spending the money to do this. My daughters are overjoyed at how I look, one even said, holy crap mom look at your curves. I cant thank Stephanie, Dr Shatz and Nurse Amber for everything they have done for me. Not only them but EVERYONE in the St louis office is so friendly and caring. I was almost discourage from doing this because of reviews so I really hope this helps anyone that has the money to do this that really wants it, WILL!!! Wow! Today is March 27th, 2018, and I never do reviews, but I can only say I had a 5-star experience with St. Louis Sonobello in every way. There are sooo many negative experiences out there on the Internet, so I was rather apprehensive when thinking about getting liposuction done with anyone at all, at first. Then I saw an ad for St. Louis Sonobello on the Internet and made an appointment for a free consultation with Stephanie on March 10, 2018. I walked in, and was greeted by Cassie, the receptionist, who was so pleasant and welcoming that I immediately felt at ease. I spent a long time with Stephanie, and she was very patient and thorough, answering the many, many questions I had. I had always thought that I waited too long to have this type of thing done-I am 63, but I found out I couldn't be more wrong! I didn't feel rushed or pressured at all, and decided that I wanted to get my procedure done as soon as possible. She was able to fit me in for a pre-op visit on March 14th, and I had the first set of procedures done on St. Patrick's Day! Dr. Richard Shatz was my surgeon, and hearing that he has over 3 decades experience as a plastic surgeon, I felt confident to have such experienced hands to perform my body sculpting procedure. I had wide awake Tri-Sculpt Micro Laser Liposuction on my upper and lower abdomen, waist, and hips; I also had the excess skin removed on my lower abdomen, (a muffin-top curse I had for years, after my abdominal hysterectomy, then a number of weight loss/weight gain episodes.) I am having the Tri-sculpt Laser Liposuction procedure done, also, on my back and side 'bra rolls,' and my chin, on April 14th. When I had my first procedure done on March 17th Dr. Shatz was very professional, and pleasant, and had a friendly, approachable bedside manner. He kept making me laugh during the procedure, which made it so much easier. I am now 10-days post op and can't believe I'm already seeing results! Although it will take awhile for the initial swelling to go down, and a number of weeks wearing a really cute compression garment, I am already 'shopping in the back of my closet' again, and can't wait for the final results in the weeks to come! I actually have my waistline back, and no pregnant-looking abdomen any more. I didn't believe it was possible! I saw a review that said, "Sonobello has changed my life," and I thought to myself, "That's a little corny," but now I'M saying, "St. Louis Sonobello has changed my life!" Ok everyone, Sonobello advertisements are true. I did my research. I went online, looked at other companies, but decided to do the consultation with them. They answered my email request within 5 minuets of sending. My consult was real. Katey was not only my consultant, she was a able to look at the areas that I wanted done and give me real insight, cost and did I mention she was a financing guru. They have financing to meet everyone needs. After my consult within 2 weeks I was schedule to have my upper and lower waist and sides done. I have lost about 38 pounds within the last 6 months, but after 4 kids my stomach muscle are shot and the fat just was not moving. Ok guys don't be shy. At your pre-op they give you this really ugly 2 piece paper bra and panty set so the Doc can take a look at you and give you the 411 (information). Dr. Lionelle made me feel comfortable first and foremost. He listened to what I wanted and what I wanted to achieve. He then took a look at what he had to work with. He explained what he could do with every part of the areas that I wanted done and the end results. He educated, informed, but made me laugh at the same time. I knew with Dr. Lionelli I was in good hands. The day of surgery guys my nurse was so awesome. I dont like needles, but she made sure the process was quick and as painless as possible. My procedure was 3 hours long, but felt like one. I was able to pick my own music while the procedure was being done, but the the great part about the whole experience was that Dr. Lionelli and I talked all throughout my procedure. I was even joking. My friend that came along was in the waiting room and was like amazed and listening to our conversation and didnt know what was going on. Thats just how comfortable and at ease the Sonobello team makes your procedure. I'm almost 3 weeks post-op, and believe you this, my waist and stomach has already went down and I have curves already. I heard about Sono Bello from my sister so I figured I would go check it out. I was able to get in the same week for my free consultation which was awesome.April was very sweet and answered all my questions. I honestly did not think I would go through with it at first but after talking to April and doing the research I felt that it was a great decision.I have tried every diet out there and still have problems with my belly. I went in for my pre opt with Dr.Schatz and he thoroughly explained the procedure and gave me his opinions.Ultimately it was my decision but I did appreciate is input and ended up changing the initial problem areas I had originally wanted done. I felt really good leaving and was excited for the day of my surgery. Next thing I knew it was surgery day, I was so nervous but the nurses were so awesome and reassured me I would be fine. Surgery was easier than I thought I didn't feel much pain. It has been a few days since surgery and I can already tell a major difference. Each day gets better and better. I had an emergency c-section 18 years ago and I could not get rid of my stomach, the more weight I loss the worse my stomach would look. I contemplated having some form of lipo done for quite some time, so I finally decided to call SonoBello as I had seen various advertisements. I was able to get a consultation appt 2 days later. I met with Stephanie and immediately felt welcomed. She had an upbeat and pleasant disposition. She made me feel so comfortable and assured with the procedure, that I scheduled my procedure 2 days later! I met with Dr. Scheu who was awesome. He took the time to explain the procedure in detail and did a very thorough physical exam. I appreciated the fact that he had been doing these procedures for 30+ years which was very reassuring! ( I researched him as well) He was knowledgeable and compassionate and so was the RN Julie. Dr. Scheu called me the evening after my procedure to check on me. Fortunately, I did not have any bruising or drainage. I was pretty sore the first 2 days, but it was tolerable. I was able to tell a difference immediately, mostly in the flank area. Wow ! This is a life changing experience for the absolute better ! First off I met with Stephanie my 1st time in the Sonobello office and she made me feel like I truly mattered to her , she was honest as to what I would go through to get the waistline I once had she explained in full detailed and never rushed me. Nor was there any pressure on me. I am treated very good here at Sonobello as they go above & beyond the call of Duty making sure that I'm a happy customer in all areas of this procedure. First when you walk through the door you are sweetly greeted by Jocelyn Harris. She has the best smile and happy laid back personality. The staff is friendly and will help you to make the best choice for you. They are not there to try and get as much money out of you as they can. They really try to just help you to get rid of those problems areas that you just can't get rid of no matter how hard you try. My nurse Gina Matthews was amazing!!! If you are lucky enough to get Gina you will be amazed at how wonderful she is. She made my procedure pleasant from start to finish. She answered all my questions before my procedure and was there for me all the way through. My Dr. was Dr. Shu, no he is extremely pleasant. I felt like I was in good hands the entire time . He came in and meet me with a smile , asked me if I had any questions, showed me where he was going to make the incisions, and made sure to give me the exact amount of medicine that I need to make my procedure as pleasant as possible!! My experience at Sono Bello was wonderful. From my consultation with Stephanie, the front desk receptionist Cassie, to my nurse Cindy, these girls are informative and know their product. They're all so friendly and helpful. The day of my surgery I was scared to death and every one of them came to my rescue in some form. Cassie even came and checked on me due my procedure. From setting up the consultation over the phone, to coming to the consultation, all the staff especially Mary who is at the front desk made you very welcome and confident in the decision I made to get my procedure done. Dr. Shay was very knowledgeable and compassionate while letting me know step by step what was being done, how good I was doing and his assistant as well. I thought when I came for consultation, I was going to hear the price is this and you got to have it all up front, but there are options that is very suitable for any budget. My first two days were the most uncomfortable only because I wanted to get up but I was sore and needed husband to help me up as he was very helpful doing. I was nervous at first but Stephanie explained everything and made me feel extremely comfortable with my choice. She took time to answer all of my questions. I recently had the pleasure of being a patient of the Sonobello Staff. I had my upper and lower ab (stomach) areas done. My consultation with the ever so energetic Mary was the start of a great overall experience. Dr Shatz and Cindy were so great during the actual procedure! I have to say that my experience with sonobello has been outstanding! Every staff member was so uplifting and positive! I would recommend both of the procedures I had to anyone wanting to feel more confident in their own skin. The staff was so attentive with keeping track of my progress and this left me with a feeling of security. I know this is their profession but you can tell that they love what they do. The evening after my surgery I received a call from my doctor my instructions and to see how I was getting along. My dad mentioned how impressed he was with everyone and the whole staff. My first consultation with April was enough to convince me that this was just what I was looking for. After the procedure everyone was always in contact either by phone or e-mail, Dr Schwartz even returned a phone call at 9:00 p.m. to discuss a concern I had about post-op condition I had. My experience with Sono Bello was awesome! Dr. Shatz, the nurses, and staff at the St. Louis office are beyond reproach! My procedure, recovery, and financing went as advertised. This procedure tackled my "love handles" and now I'm the hunk I once desired to be! My procedure was done two years ago and I've been able to maintain my body contouring. This is not a weight loss program. As a matter of fact, I haven't had a reduction in weight since my procedure. At 55y/o I'm proud of the way I look and feel.
