Had a breast augmentation by a doctor at this practice, had a silicone implant rupture. The receptionist named laylor, told me I was out of luck and refused to give me my medical records, which is illegal.... so i guess ill be getting a Lawyer for malpractice..... Do not recommend going here, as the will not help fix life threatening issues... And there are much better surgeons in St Louis now read more

I've been seeing either a physician, aesthetician or nurse practitioner at Parkcrest for over 20 years. A Parkcrest physician performed my breast reduction 20 years ago. The process was seamless and I'm happy with the results. Within about two years of the procedure, you could not even see the fine line scars. My breast reduction is easily one of the top 5 things I've ever done just for me and I still feel great about doing it 20 years later. As a plus, although gravity clearly is working against us after 20 years, I can still wear a bikini top and although not as perky as they were 20 years ago, my breasts look great, and more importantly, they look natural. I've been a patient of the nurse practitioner Ashley for Botox and occasional filler. She is kind, timely, concerned about her patients, does not try to oversell you on products or procedures. I'd recommend anyone interested in Botox or fillers to consult Ashley. I've been a client of the aesthetic center for years. Every aesthetician I've see. Has been relaxed , professional and does a great job. What impresses me the most, is that with the exception of one employee, everyone at Parkcrest does not try to oversell their services. I consulted with Dr. Cain several times over the last few years about possibly performing more invasive procedures. He has started every consult with " What would you like to change about your face" as we look together on the mirror. My requested enhancements were so minimal he advised to not do anything! He cares about his patients' well being and seems to be of the mindset that women should do things that will make them personally feel Better about themselves and not to live up to a societal standard of feminine beauty. I went for Morpheus8 treatments on the Med Spa side of the business. Janice said 3 treatments is needed for best results. She took before pictures and after 6 months to compare, and I could not tell at all that anything had changed after $3,300 dollars! Janice was really trying to convince me how good it looked, but after showing several friends & family (who tell me the truth) and they said there was absolutely no difference! I still have crows feet, sagging jowls, wrinkles around my lips, forehead, and sagging chin! They didn't even change at all! I feel like what a waste of money, and now I'm skeptical about doing any other treatments. I wrote to Janice telling her how displeased I was but never heard back. I wasn't going to write a review at all, but kept thinking about it and needed to report it. I thought others should know before spending thousands to get it done! What a money maker for them & Zero outcome for me! Maybe others had a better outcome but not me. :( I will never go there again! read more

I honor of "Transformation Tuesday," I wanted to write a review that is long overdue. Dr. McGuire and her team (Jodi and Rachel) at Parkcrest are literally amazing. I am almost 4 months post-op, time flies when you look great and feel comfortable. Obviously, she is board certified. She is also a decorated doctor who continues to pursue education throughout her career, specifically with regards to gender affirmation surgery. As a queer and trans person, it can be really difficult to find a doctor and team in the Midwest (much less, right here in Saint Louis) who is all of the following: highly skilled in the different types of top surgery, compassionate, confident, aware and sensitive to pronouns and other gender related issues that are relevant when you're getting top surgery. Dr. McGuire knows that different trans and gender non conforming folks who pursue top surgery have different goals with their chest. For me, I was looking for a surgeon who understood that top surgery is more than just removing breast tissue. Dr. McGuire understands that and assured me that she would help masculinize my chest. Trusting someone with your body, and as a trans person trusting someone with the reconstruction of your chest is a huge deal. I am so glad I trusted Dr. McGuire with mine. Her bed side manner is exactly what you'd want in a surgeon: professional, highly confident, with super positive energy. When I left Dr. McGuire's office after my consult, I knew she would be my surgeon. Here's why: It can be easy for such intelligent and skilled people to overlook the importance of sensitivity, especially when it comes to working with folks who are trans. Not only was Dr. McGuire sensitive to my pronouns, but also generally aware of gender dysphoria, which can make going to the doctor, talking about your body, letting others see your body difficult and complicated. Throughout the process my comfort level was a priority. I had great vibes about her from the moment I met her. It's not just her, it's the whole team. Her nurse Rachel is so down to earth and gives amazing care. Jodi, her administrator, is so chill and can somehow make booking appointments and talking about insurance enjoyable. Not only are they outrageously kind and skilled, they are SO efficient. Don't get me wrong, they take their time with you as it's needed, but from the operating room to post op appointments, this team is in and out. They are a well oiled team, obviously communicate well with each other, and they get things done! I am so proud to have had a female surgeon and team for my top surgery. I had the extra skin removed from my upper eyelids by Dr. Caplin and had the best experience with him and his staff. The office staff made everything really easy from the scheduling of my initial consult to the scheduling of my surgery. Dr. Caplin was very thorough during my consultation and really made me feel comfortable and less nervous about the surgery. Dr. Maclin is one of the best doctors I have ever met and nothing I can say really does justice to the man ... he is an excellent surgeon, extremely intelligent, thorough, patient and caring. I have received nothing but great care from him and his entire staff. Dr. Maclin's work speaks for itself ... one consultation with him and you'll understand why he gets such rave reviews. One thing that I appreciated, during the first consultation with Dr. Maclin, was his humane, compassionate, empathetic and supportive bedside manner. I was impressed that he asked me what I wanted to achieve before he made any suggestions. Plenty of doctors can achieve great results, but not many look at it from a patient-centered viewpoint and really take the time to get to know their patients like Dr. Maclin does. He sincerely listens to his patients and puts them at ease. I never felt rushed during office visits and any questions I had, he willingly and honestly answered. He was always available and provided his personal cell phone number and encouraged me to call with any pre-op questions no matter how small. My surgery was scheduled in November so most of my recovery time and follow-up visits were over the holidays. Dr. Maclin informed me when he was going to be out of the St. Louis area for Thanksgiving and Christmas but he still insisted that I call, at any time, if I experienced any problems or even if I just had post-op questions. The few times that I did call Dr. Maclin's cell, he immediately answered and let it be known that he was available for any help and/or support that I needed during my recovery. Dr. Maclin was open and respectful and I felt as though any problems and needs were always understood. It took me over 10 years to work up the courage to get my tummy tuck and lipo ... my only regret is that I didn't do it sooner...but, I am so thankful that I did my research and selected Dr. Maclin to perform my procedures. My family and colleagues are in awe at my transformation and how amazing I look just three months post-op. Honestly, I don't even look like the same person and I feel amazing. I am beyond pleased with my new "hour-glass" figure and overwhelmed by Dr. Maclin's incredible professionalism, amazing compassion and comprehensive care for his patients. I went to Dr. McGuire for a consultation to have my breast implants removed and the possibility of a lift. From the moment she came in the room I knew she would be my doctor. She listened to all of my wants, concerns and thoughts and answered the large majority of my questions before I even had to ask. Her knowledge and straightforwardness is what sold me on her being my doctor. I truly appreciate doctors that don't sugarcoat or skim over my questions and Dr. McGuire did neither of those. While I had pretty realistic expectations going into my consultation, she confirmed what was or was not realistic and why is was or was not. I scheduled my surgery with her coordinator, Jodi for 4 weeks after my consultation. Jodi was super easy to work with, very responsive and explained the process of payment and coordination with the surgery center. The nurse Rachael called a few days before surgery to confirm I picked up all my medications that I would need for post surgery and went over all the dos and don't for the night before surgery. I went into the surgery center in Ballwin the morning of surgery. The waiting room seemed pretty busy, but once checked in and taken back for prep, it was calm and not as stressful. Dr. McGuire came in to mark me up and go over any last minute questions with me and helped easy some of my anxiety. All of the nurses and anesthesiologist assisting her were amazing, very attentive and such upbeat fun personalities that you didn't feel like you were going back for surgery. I am currently 3 weeks and 3 days out from surgery and this recovery has been so much easier than when I had my breast implants put in. Soreness and tenderness, but I have been able to manage without pain medicine after the day of surgery. I had a follow up appt with the nurse practitioner to remove my drains. I was extremely nervous about this, but again, the nurse practitioner made me feel at ease and it was not nearly as bad as I had anticipated. During my 2 week follow up with Dr. McGuire, she removed the surgery tape and confirmed how great and amazing my breasts look after surgery! She is truly an artist and I cannot recommend her enough! read more
