It is a chain restaurant, but still offers a pretty good version of barbecue and I do not think that you will be disappointed. I stopped by early afternoon on a Sunday during a road trip for lunch. The place was packed but had ample parking. I ordered carryout pulled pork sandwich meal and got $5 off with a couple on the phone app. Waited maybe 10 minutes near their bar area which had tv's with sports. There were two attentive servers who were manning the carryout area and there were employees zipping back and forth showing they were well staffed. The pulled pork sandwich tasted perfect and I didn't even have to put any sauce on it. Very moist with good taste. The big French fries were just alright but didn't have very good taste and could have been more crunchy. Sweet tea was very good. read more

I've been avoiding Sonny's ever since they the did their menu change. But tonight I was hungry and decided to run thru their drive thru. Sadly, it was way overpriced for what you get. I ordered the brisket "plate". Got four thin slices of 'meat', half of it was fat. It came with one slice of stale garlic bread, the baked beans were more like a soup (not much there, just sauce) and the fries were cold. This used to be a good restaurant, and I was willing to try again after a bad sit-down experience. But they blew it. I won't be returning. read more

The building is easy to spot and has plenty of parking around the sides and back, though the main road, SR 50, can get a little busy during peak hours. We stopped in tonight(10/02/25l with family from out of town, about 20 of us total. The food was same ol, same ol and the beans were seriously under cooked(baked beans should not crunch, and no mashed potatoes as a side option is criminal), but the star was our waitress. Unfortunately I forgot her name but I'm hoping someone with Sonny's sees this and gives her some props. She got everybody's plate correct, keep the glasses full, was friendly and polite the whole time, and was just a joy. Good service brings us back to restaurants more than the food. I've been coming to this Sonny's for quite a while (live in the area) and I normally have gotten decent food. However, the past few times have not been so good. Don't usually do reviews (and sorry to leave a bad one this time) but I felt the need so here goes. I'm not a picky person either! We got carry-out around 7:30 last night 2/14. My husband got the half chicken plate, and the chicken was raw. Not questionable, it was raw. The sliced turkey (I got) was good. The beans however were basically soup. The rest (coleslaw, GB, onion rings, fries) were okay. But just okay. The cornbread not very good this time either. Very dried out. We were kind of disappointed. I will give them another try, but we might be deleting them from of our list of go-to places in T'ville. read more

I chose the 3 meat combo ($18), Smoked Chicken Wings, St. Louis Ribs (+$1) and Chopped Fatty Brisket (+$2). I substituted Mac-N-Cheeze for the fries at no extra charge. Also came with cole slaw and buttery Garlic toast. Total was $22.46 after tax, before tip. All the meats were OUTSTANDING. They were all examples of GREAT BBQ. I alternated between the 3 choices, one peice at a time, sampling different sauces on the table. TASTY, SMOKY and TENDER! The Mac-N-Cheeze was HEAVENLY. The cole slaw was COOL and CRISP. This place has really cratered in the last year or so. Went today and the hostess was insanely rude to me and the other people who walked in the same time I did. Then after getting our food we were ignored for the duration of our meal (ordered the all you can eat pulled pork, but only got one plate) Thankfully our server was nice enough to try to sneak in a 22% percent tip without my knowledge or approval. How sweet. Thankfully I caught it before my card was charged. After speaking to the manager on duty, it became clear why the service is so bad. Just an overall terrible experience. read more

Where to begin... Well I ordered a turkey big deal on garlic bread there was 2 little pieces of turkey and another piece of pork maybe 8 fries mushy fries. I told them at the drive thru I wanted sweet tea with extra lemon...whenever I received my drink No lemon so I asked for some the girl told me she would dump some in...she also handed my the debit card machine for almost 5-8mins which to me is crazy with all the scammers now a days! The customer service here is family and friendly. We love that it's a family oriented feeling but when I got home and opened the boxes 2 of them looked like they were over cooked ribs and then they looked like a pencil. I was very disappointed of the food on 2 plates but one of my plates was beautiful. I tried to call but was placed on hold for so long that I got a little frustrated and decided to return the food tomorrow. I give restaurants chances because this could have been a off day but being that I work in the food industry I make sure every plate goes out where the customer would want to return because of the plating of the food. Presentation is everything and this wasn't the presentation I was looking for with my family. I've never had an issue with any Sonny's until today so that's why I gave them 2 stars instead. Now I can say I love their barbecue sauce actually I use it on my steaks if I have some left over when I visit them. The sliced pork was definitely juicy. I can't knock them on that but the ribs I can't tell you because I split my food with the guys and we made it happen. read more

Ive been to Sonnys many times and I always get the baby back ribs. Fall of the bone, so good. You can add more bbq on it if you'd like as I do. The baked beans were excellent and the sweet potato i got was alright. Service was solid and the ambiance is fine. Its not the best ribs ive had before but its one of the better ones and Id have to think its the best in Titusville. Definitely stop by if you want bbq. read more

They have banana pudding!!!!!! Last time we were here the server said the menu is standard through all the locations, but they don't carry the banana pudding even though it's listed on the menu. Came here with a large group and no advance notice to the restaurant. They were able to seat us right away and were super attentive the entire time. We had fried okra as an appetizer. It was really good! Hot and crispy. Delicious. The sampler platter was a large portion of food and I was able to customize my sides and change the sliced brisket to chopped. Always good BBQ. Love to get some ribs or pulled pork. Sauce they have a great. If you get food to go make sure you get some bbq sauce.
