Communication is horrible! Getting through to someone on the phone is almost impossible, classes are canceled last minute, or without notice. My daughter rode an Uber to class one day, only to get there and find a sign on the door that the class was canceled. When I reached out to the school to learn why I was not made aware, they advised that they had sent a notice to the students' email. Say what? Communication had always been through my email and phone. So that was $40 in Uber for nothing. More than once, this has happened. We are charged a fee of $40 if the student is late past 15 minutes, doesn't show, or does not have their driving permit with them, but when they are late, don't show up, or cancel last minute, they take zero accountability. The very last appointment that we had for the skills test, we waited over an hour past our appointment for the driving instructor to even show up. The office staff was unapologetic, and there seemed to be no sense of urgency. It took everything in me not to reach out to the DOL and AG to lodge a complaint. The only thing positive that I can honestly say about this business is about the drive instructor Clayton (Not the one that didnt show up) He always answered questions, was very patient, and personable. Other than that I can not in good faith recommend that anyone enroll their kid in this driving school until they tighten up. It is not right or fair for the people who spend their money in hopes of getting their driver's license! 1/10 I would not recommend.

The new school is excellent, it is called I-5. She passed both the written test and the driving test on the first try there. This previous school only took our money and scammed us. Plus the employees were very sweet and helpful. To all the people who were confused as to why they failed when they looked at their phones, there's literally multiple posters in the testing room that state "Do not use your phone in here during the test". This place was very helpful and answered any questions I had from start to finish. They respond to emails really quick especially when I had any concerns. If you're over 18, $199 buys you three one hour weekday drives and if you're ready, state testing on the last. We found out AFTER the fact. Instead the staff told me, AFTER our daughters drive with 2 observers, that he pushed "more" observers on drives because he was backed up and behind. NEVER in a million years would I God forbid threaten let alone mistreat your staff who I LIKED. But I just wanted to say that if it weren't for Tawnya, my teacher from the academy, I never would've passed my practical exam. She gave me her personal cell number the day I graduated so that I could reach out in case I panicked on the day of my state exam. I did, indeed, panic the night before.
