The healthcare industry loves its certifications, so I've been around the testing block just a few times. My most recent test experience was at the Renton Pearson center and I'm very happy that it was! The staff here is incredibly welcoming and up beat, which helps create a relaxing environment. True to Pearson testing sites they are not messing around with security! Head shots, palm vein readings, multiple forms of ID, etc....they definitely make sure that it's you! The testing room itself was clean and the proctor made sure that it was quiet in there. Very nice sized lockers to store your belongings and ample parking...you can't go wrong with this testing center! read more

Highly recommend this center for any test you need to take! Every staff member I came in contact with was nice and respectful, helping to make an already pretty stressful day a little bit easier. Got in around 10:30 for an 11 scheduled appointment and there were openings so they let me start early. I recommend getting there earlier if possible as you might be able to start earlier too. As I was leaving around 12 there were already people waiting so I feel like mid-late morning is a good appointment time as well. read more

This is one of the best test centers. Easy to find in the complex, Security explained the check-in process and how to access personal belongings and where to store your wallet and other stuff in the locker. Restrooms were conveniently located next to exam room, so a rest room break wouldn't take more than 5 minutes. This is really important when you are racing against time. Administrative supervisor was cool and attended as soon as I raised my hand. Headphones were provided but I did not use them because noice cancellation kind of makes my ear filled with vacuum but they offered earplugs if needed. I had an excellent experience both with the staff and the ambiance of the testing facility. Staff were courteous and friendly, helpful before and after. I nearly had to contest my exam due to a wording issue and faulty options on my exam, however they suggested I look at my score and I passed! I don't need to look exceptionally smart, just pass so I was chill with that. Very chatty and nice people (in the lobby). The testing room was extremely quiet, with noise-cancelling headphones. read more

I met four different people while I was there, and they were all friendly and supportive, and each possessed a good sense of humor too! I visit this testing center every couple of years to do my FINRA continuing education. It is by far the best of these facilities that I've been to in the area. It's located in a quiet office park, on the back of the building, which has plenty of parking outside. The staff is attentive and friendly, and they manage to make even the security procedures relatively painless. The important part, though, is the testing room , which is quiet and comfortable, with up to date equipment. There is plenty of space and separation between the stations, so you can focus on what you're there to do, without distraction. read more

Went here today to take the most important test of my life with what felt like way more waves of nausea in my stomach than facts in my brain. Running only on hundreds of hours of study time, four hours of panic-dream sleep, and 300 plus mg of caffeine, I was, needless to say, a sight for sore eyes. But the staff here and the general testing set-up really made the whole thing run smoothly. Every staff member was super friendly and professional and seemed to genuinely care about how terrified I was. The cleanliness and professional layout of the center was also a boost to the whole experience, and the fact that the building was easy to find didn't hurt, either. In what is otherwise an experience the equivalent of getting a root canal while listening to John Mayer live, this place is a small yet necessary beacon of light. read more

It seems like Fort Knox security screening, but the whole testing process was professional, quick and maybe even fun. Everyone was friendly and check in was no hassle. They check your pieces of ID, you sign in and they scan and record your palm print at the front desk. You scan in again to enter the secure testing room. You're not allowed to bring anything in, not even a hat, but everything can go in the secure lockers up front. You take in your locker key of course. They'll give you a dry erase marker, board and earplugs if you want. There are about a dozen computer stations in individual cubicles and almost all were in use on the Saturday afternoon I did my test. The testing room is quiet and pleasant. You're being fully monitored by CCTV. The computers and everything worked well and the staff was professional, courteous and friendly. Great testing experience here. read more

Went here to take the NAPLEX. As others had mentioned, the security here is pretty layered...with hand scans every time you enter and leave the testing room and a picture of yourself that appears on your screen when take a break so that they can verify it's the same person coming back. Mike Ross from Suits (TV show) would have a pretty hard time taking the LSAT for other people if Pearson was running the testing show. For the most part, this place wasn't too hard to find and the testing room wasn't too crowded, which made for a good experience (as long as I passed, haha). The lady at the front was also very nice and let me start ~1 hr early since there were seats available. Parking was easy to find and the testing room temperature was perfect (not too cold or hot). I would probably go to the Northgate location since it's closer if I had to take another Pearson-administered test, but this Renton location was absolutely fine. The only real complaint I have was the calculators that they give to you. They are super small (2" x 3"??) and are terrible. There is a built-in calculator in the computer, but would it seriously hurt to purchase at least Casio fx-260 Solars (which isn't even that great) or something similar if not better? It would make everyone's life a lot easier. read more

I scheduled an appointment here online and received a confirmation email about the appointment and when I arrived there at the center the lady at the front desk said I had no appointment and refused to help me make another appointment. Kinda rude read more

Definitely a very strict process of signing in and doing the palm scan going in and out. But things went smoothly, you have a locker to keep your belongings in. For the most part the staff were very cordial. There was one thing I didn't appreciate too much, when I sat down one of the pearson staff singled me out and asked if I had my passport in front of everybody. I said I'm an American citizen, and I'm from Washington. She said I needed it for the test, but I told that person I wasn't taking that test, everybody started to laugh at me and I was very embarrassed, I was already nervous enough about the test, and didn't need all of that. I truly feel that it did affect me at the start of the test, but I let it go, and for the rest of my time there the staff was cordial to me. read more
