This Sonic overcharged me by $7 and when I reached out to the manager on duty they didn't understand. I reached out to customer service support ten days ago and they have yet to respond. I even included receipts and screenshots. The app was down so we had to go through the red button. The person on the other end said that they would honor app price. I rang the same price of what I got into the app and it was $7 cheaper. The people proceeded to charge me for every single item as if it were Ala carte instead of the combo price listed on the menu. You are better off taking your business to McDonalds up the street. At least they don't overcharge you for their mediocre food and terrible service. read more

I ordered a chicken sandwich and they brought out chicken strips. After about 20 mins of patiently waiting for my food, with a tip in my hand, the wrong food comes out. We ordered 3 cheeseburger combos and specifically requested no condiments in the app. Well low and behold when we opened up the burgers they were pouring mayonnaise. The beef was very dark in colour and was not fresh and obviously was reheated in a microwave or was laid out underneath a heat lamp. The beef did not have the glisten of freshly cooked grease that you see off of a normal griddle cooked burger instead it was a greaseless dark dry edged patty. I immediately followed the instructions on the receipt to provide feedback and called the local store. I was met with a very argumentative manager on duty named Ashley who basically called the customer a liar. She rebuttled that the burgers come by default with Mayo and ketchup so that I must be not telling the truth. If that was true then why did the burgeers only have mayo on them and no ketchup which proves that she is wrong they did mess up the order. I got a follow up email about 4 days later from a guy named Jeff who apparently operates this joint. He seemed more interested in being right than customer retention. The only thing he took ownership for was the beef not being fresh. Basically echoed Ashley's sentiment and insinuated that I did not put in the order right and argued with me that the app does not have an option for no condiments. At the time I put in my order it allowed for customization which I clearly put no condiments. Good luck if you have a bad experience here they will insinuate that you are lying and don't want to believe the customer and prefer their pride over having a customer come back to this joint. Yeah I got my money back but beware customers of a place that ignores food allergies and does not respect when you customize your burgers or food items. Never coming back. In all my life I have never had someone put ketchup on my burger at a sonic and I have been eating at sonic for 35 years. When you ask for mayonnaise, it seems like ding ding ding your brain would go off and know not to put ketchup on there unless you ask for ketchup and mayonnaise. Is this new? When did ketchup become mandatory on my burger? I also asked for no cheese, but apparently that's mandatory as well. Did you refry the tots? There's enough grease dripping out of them to fry another batch. You can bet you will not be receiving a tip automatically anymore. Went there tonight on half price burger night at least once a month.Well l didn't ordering they were overpricing there medium combo, saying it was $8.27 minus the $2.15 off the burger. Since when is a $6.99 food order's taxes $1.28. The rude manager even came out with a receipt that never had $6.99 on it, lol.It just had 8.27 minus the 2.15. Taxes are roughly 8 cents to the dollar. It's a fast food place but customer service should still be a goal. I pulled up to the drive through and sat at the microphone for about 7 minutes with no one taking my order. After the last car in front of me left, I decided to pull up, get out of the car and ask someone if I could place an order because no one ever took my order in the drive through. I got no apology only that it happens sometimes that the vehicle doesn't register. They directed me to the patio to order. So I placed my order in the patio kiosk and went back to my car. A girl brought out an order but it was for the car behind me. Again she said that it happens sometime.
