I've been to this Sonic twice now and it sucked both times. Unfortunately it's the only thing past 11. The onion ring we're old and cold, the batter was falling off and they were dark color. The Cheddar peppers were hot and just cooked, but again they were dark brown indicating fryer oil needs changed. Corn dog was also edible, the burger was not. The burger was old and cold. I am glad I ordered so much food since most of it was not edible. 1 out of 10, only because the drink was nice. I usually love sonic, but this location is shameful. read more

This Sonic consistently gets my order wrong when I order on the app. Today I go through the drive through and order some drinks. When the girl repeats my order I notice she made a mistake and I correct her. She then refused to change the order multiple times, insisting I just buy the incorrect order she put together. The rudest worker I have encountered in a long time. The app doesn't work here. I walked to the window to check on my order and I was told to be patient when I was being very polite and courteous. I saw the low rating and was hesitant to come to this Sonic location, but I noticed they were from over a year ago. SERVICE HAS CHANGED! To set the scene, there were 5 other cars parked with 2 in the drive thru. Our order was taken within a minute of pushing the button, our food was delivered within 5 minutes and it was fresh and hot. Our order was also CORRECT! After a long day of driving, I really appreciate the service we got here. Give them another chance! read more

Whoa.. unless you want an extra large serving of bad attitude stay away from this sonic today. The clerk wouldn't allow us to place our order because she kept interrupting before we could finish ordering. At the drive up window we attempted to explain our order and got the window closed on us. The people behind us got a serving of the same attitude and were courageous enough to ask what was up with the attitude. Bad - BAD experience. This is the only sonic on my way back-and-forth from Datil to Las Cruces it is disappointing that I can't even order a mango slushy and the sonic was not even full today and we stood out there waiting 20 min for a melted sonic slushy just now the service here is really bad. Really sad. read more

I ordered a number one, burger, fries, and a small soda at the sonic drive-in in Socorro New Mexico. I ordered on the patio and the young man who assisted me was very helpful. That's as far as the Good goes! My food came out and it was all at room temperature. I think the largest french fry was 2 inches long and they were all over cooked and hard and crunchy. Agree with previous review - would give negative review if could. Stopped here on the way back from the lake. It's 86 degrees outside. We get hot drinks with our meals - thought maybe it was fresh tea and melted the ice. So we asked for a large cup of ice. "We're actually out of ice at the moment". Didn't even bother to tell us they were out of ice when we ordered. Just brought out hot drinks. Also the cheese wasn't melted on the burgers - they weren't even warm. The fries were cold and old. Horrible experience. And there are 6 cars in line at the drive through that are all going to get drinks with no ice.... Don't go here! read more

I only gave it a one because you don't have negative stars. This is the worst Sonic I have ever stopped on a road trip in my life. The wait time was abysmal, over 45 minutes to get our food. We got back on the road and I bit into an icy cold mass of barely edible meat. My wife's order of chicken strips was cold with watery gravy, mixed fries and tater tots that were cold and salty, and missing the onion ring. I will never set foot on this property again. read more

You know, I'm not sure what to say about this Sonic. Most of the time I go here it's for ice cream or drinks only, and it's perfectly good for that purpose, although it's a little slow sometimes and ordering can be a pain (but isn't that true at every Sonic?). I will note that they recently replaced all the menu boards with the newer type with touchscreen displays, and the audio quality seems to have gotten better too. Unfortunately the food here is problematic. I don't like Sonic's food that much to begin with, but this particular location seems to have a particularly hard time, with orders often taking too long and coming out a little off. The staff are usually nice enough about trying to keep up and fix any issues, but they still can't quite pull it off. Overall I'd say go for the drinks and shakes and forget the food, unless it's something simple. read more

After a long day at school. I would love to come and get some fast and delicious food from Sonic. I pull in and order like usual. It takes a bit for them to take my order which I didn't mind knowing there are other customers. The carhop comes out with just a bag of food. Gives me me receipt, says thank you and I respond with "no drink?" Snappy attitude says there was no drink. I ordered the combo #2. So she goes to get my drink. While she was doing that, I take a bite of my fries. Which seems to have been some old soggy leftovers that were over salted. I did not enjoy my experience here. Good burgers but should be a standard for all Sonic places. read more

Stopped here to grab a Sonic Blast on Saturday afternoon. Guy who was working the drive thru needs more training on listening properly or have the intercom checked for sound. I get that the intercoms at these places aren't the best, BUT......when my husband is LITERALLY hanging out the car window repeating our order for the 5th time, there is an issue. After waiting 25 minutes for our order for three people, only thing that was right we're the drinks. Ketchup and mayo turned into extra ketchup and nothing else, fries weren't in the bag, no sauces, no forks or knifes, and crammed into one bag. Went for dessert after a movie with the family, and while ordering the drive thru attendant was very rude in taking our order, and did not repeat it back for order accuracy and got one of our blasts wrong. Upon going to the window you can see the employees inside goofing off and one actually working, and who I would presume is the manager eating at the work station which I don't think could possibly be very sanitary. Waited for just 2 blasts and a coney and pretzel for over 20 minutes. Don't think we will be visiting again. read more

The food was hot and good. It had lots of salad in the burgers Most places put very little stuff on their burgers. The tots did not taste like old grease.... A+plus. We were only traveling through, but we come this way often,so we will make it a point to come here. read more

This place truly is a terrible Sonic. The only thing I will even consider going there for is a milkshake. I have completely given up on food on them. I have tried the food, and have never had anything that was not cold, falling apart, or missing items. I realize we are talking about a Sonic, but I really recommend going somewhere else. read more

Waited for so long in drive thru line that I turned the car engine off. People behind us in line were getting their food and pulling around us (we had a small $10 order straight off the menu). We finally got our food, I asked if that was everything, she said yes, we drove away and realized they failed to give us food they charged us for. Terrible experience. read more

This Sonic has the absolute worst service out of any Sonic I have ever been to. They were messing around while taking the order and couldn't get it correct, acting like they couldn't hear or understand you while giggling the whole time. All we ended up ordered was drinks because we were so frustrated trying to order chedder peppers we gave up. Took every bit of 15 mins to get 4 drinks. Not complicated drinks either, just tea & ocean waters. Asked for a drink carrier & the girl took off with out giving us our change. Waited another 10 minutes & my husband was frustrated so he walked to the door where she stood holding his change while visiting & laughing with co- workers. If you could leave 0 stars thats exactly what I would give them. They definitely need to re-think their management team & make changes. Makes me very grateful for the Sonic in Bosque Farms & Los Lunas. They are awesome. Socorro Sonic come take lessons from Sonic's that do it right!! read more

Extremely slow. Tying McDonald's across the street for the slowest drive thru I have ever been to, although slightly better than McDonald's on a good day. Usually waiting to order at the speaker for at least 2 min, asked "What can I get for you?," but then told "just a sec," another 2 min, almost always have to repeat the order (almost never more than 1-2 items), and then wait another 2-5 min before receiving it at the window. read more

Horrific service. Fourty minutes later and still no hot dog. Called manager and was told they forgot about it and was going to do it now. Fries and tots were cold when we got them. Gave us onion rings when we asked for tots, which also were cold. Didn't listen to what sizes we wanted and very little fries when we got them. Don't come here. They make excuses of being busy when there are maybe five cars here. read more

I Drove through the drive through last night and on my way to the ordering board I drove over a metal plate covering a ground grease trap. My tire light came on and my car tire went instantly flat. I later discovered that a pocket knife was found inside my tire and a large puncture hole was evident. It appears that the knife had apparently been intentionally placed in that spot to potentially puncture a tire. I told Sonic management when it happened, without knowing all of the details and they dismissed my claim (I don't blame them - they may have thought I was a nut job). This was a specialty tire that is ruined and is going to cost me more than $225.00 to replace. My cheap drinks and $1.99 wacky pack were not worth the cost. read more

This Sonic is horrible. Almost every time we go there is something wrong with our order. The most recent few times have included not receiving half the food we paid for, incorrect toppings on burgers, and ice cream that tastes like plastic. Avoid this one! read more
