Place an online order and it took over 25 minutes and then I asked for water and she said she would bring it to me and it took over 20 minutes for her and she didn't even bring it out. She didn't come out at all. read more

The manager here is a pot head and it shows. They're never busy, and we usually avoid this one because they don't answer the call button, but we went. We had ordered on the app and they brought most of it out. Then we forgot some things and had to order THERE and it took FIVE MINUTES for them to answer. Then they didn't get the whole order out. No one answers the button, no one swears the drive through. Sonic corporate should shut this one down if they aren't able to function read more

The order taker was prompt and I didn't have to wait long to place our order . The Car hop was nice and courteous when bringing our order out to us . The only issue I have with Sonic is a few years back they chose there pocket book over there customers by shrinking every product they sell for this reason Sonic ONLY! Gets my business when there is not much to choose from . Sonic serving size matters ! Not so much of a fan as I use to be ! This Sonic is one of the worst run businesses I have ever encountered. They have messed up oders, given wrong, change, and been rude on a few occasions. But tonight took the cake. I wanted to take my wife out for a fun treat at the end of a long day. The first stall I pulled into had a computer screen that looked like a bad imitation of a 1980's computer hacker. I moved. It took several minutes from the time I pushed the red button until someone answered. My wife spotted a new item, advertised on the main screen and decided to try it. So I asked for the small Cheesecake Blast and there was a long silence. Hoping that they had the first item down, I went ahead and ordered what I wanted, a medium Blast with Butterfinger pieces. The reply was, " so you want a small Butterfinger Blast?" I politely corrected the order... and was met with another long silence. I waited a couple minutes and asked if they were still there, they said yes, so I asked them to read my order back. They said, just a minute and sat in silence for another two minutes. At this point I was frustrated, And They Still Didn't Have The Order Right! You want a medium cheesecake shake? they asked. I told them again, I want a small Cheesecake Blast and they said, "I don't see that on my computer screen." I was flabbergasted. I couldn't believe that I couldn't order what was being advertised. I got rude at that point, and they finally confirmed the order the way I gave it. But the screen never pulled up my order. And then it didn't give me the opportunity to pay. After waiting a few minutes we saw a car hop come out with a pair of shakes, go to the car next to us, we overheard someone say, "they probably left", and the car hop walked away. At that point we did leave. And I'll never go back. And I'll be telling all my friends what awful service I received at Sonic. read more

The guy working the early morning shift had great customer service! He even made side orders of eggs in little paper boats for our kids. My egg/cheese sandwich, and oj were really good too, and my daughter loved her French toast sticks. My husband liked his burrito more than McDonald's breakfast, so for Father's Day, it was good! read more

We're traveling back from a family graduation and decided to stop by this sonic.we order our food only to wait for an incorrectly made hamburger, a cold hamburger,a raw foot long and cold fries and tots. This came totaling over 30$ We pushed the red button to talk to someone to let them know that our fires and tots were cold after we let them know they didn't give a response so we just assumed that'll be right with us or a manger would come out and talked to us but unfortunately that did not happen. After a few minutes of feeling neglected My second attempt a gentleman answer my call he and I explained that i talked to a lady before and told him the same situation I told the lady before that it was not correct him then told me "there's 20 people ahead of you and you are in the back of the line" and then disconnected like the First Lady. Once again I hit the red button for the third time. I tried to ask what's going happen with my order from before she mistook me and started placing a whole new order. I told I'm not ordering, I'm just wondering what's going on with my order from before. All she said was "oh" then hung up. Few minutes the attendant who brought our food out original and we explained to her what happen. I asked again what's going on with our food and she said "I'm not in the kitchen" she took our food back. So I decided to just leave and not ask for a refund because they'll just hang up on me again....I just decided back out of this 2 star sonic and pull into "Ole" reliable MickeyD's . We stopped here for a drink and bathroom break on a road trip. The drink was great, as drinks at Sonic always are. However, there is no visible bathroom. I asked our car hop about the bathroom and she said "um" then went for another car hop who said she had to ask the manager. After a moment the first car hop returned and said I could not use the bathroom because it was "after hours or something" (what does "or something" mean here, and since when is 6:15 on a Saturday after hours?). In short, this place doesn't have it together and doesn't let customers use their bathroom, which I think is kind of integral to a place I consider to be a road trip institution! read more

I believe in second chances, third chances, fourth. But seriously? Every single visit to this location has not gone well. I finally stopped going. Customer service is terrible. Manager not confident in leading a team. Hair in food. Received wrong order. They do not repeat your order back to you. If your card reader doesn't work, they'll take your card, go home and shower, feed the dog, watch football, and then return your card whenever they so desire. I called the DM and he seemed friendly, offered to send me a coupon and never did. Guess you can't blame the bottom guys because those at the top are just as bad. Won't eat here even if i had a free food for a year. I'd be getting hairballs anyway. read more

Stopped in to get a bite and ordered two footlong chili dogs. The franks were so old, they were rubber like. Apparently under heat for an extended period. And the tater tots were cold and old. The lack of FRESH product is the reason we will never come back. If the Lubbock Sonic can accomplish a fresh tasty product, I expect the Slaton Sonic to also. read more
