However, it won't stop me from trying the other cookies and ice cream soon. Being that MB has been open for about a month, it's east to say that the place is really clean and well-organized. I can picture it being close to full when the temperature rises, which it'll do in the coming weeks. The gentleman at the counter, Mac, is friendly and will help anyone out. They have the standard flavors, with some sour versions as well. There is diet flavors and what they call deluxe flavors, with such things as banana cream pie and strawberry shortcake. The price for those aren't on the menu so I don't know how much extra they cost. No flavors too out there, except for the recently added jalapeno, that comes with a warning that "beware it's made with real jalapenos." Their prices are pretty cheap compared to places in Houston or Galveston, small $1, medium $1.50, large $2 and the quintessential jumbo $2.75. They offer cream, chocolate or ice cream for a little bit extra. They also have smoothies for $3.50. All in all this place is pretty great. The hotter it gets the more packed the parking lot is, and there isn't any defined parking so it can get a little difficult. They season is about April to September every year, but it really seems to be based on how early and how late in the year it stays "summer temps." They usually close when it rains, the best way to know if they are open is when the flags are out!

Joshua was our server and he did a good job, and our food came out relatively fast, so no issues with service. As for the food however, I can't be as positive. Last time I had the Mahi Mahi and thought it was fine enough. This time I decided to try one of their burgers. I'll be honest, I like my burgers pretty plain, which is its own can of worms. Point being, the bun tasted very odd and almost stale, and the patty was very mushy and lacked flavor. The signature sauce was also unappetizing, with it being some sort of distant cousin of mustard or potentially a very odd Thousand Islands? I'm not sure if additional toppings would save this considering the unappealing foundation. It just left me very unfulfilled. The milkshakes on the other hand? Fantastic. Definitely the highlight. It was just as good as the last time I went. I haven't been to many other places that matches the quality of here. Could not recommend more. I've yet to try the chicken or other fish so I can't comment on their quality. All I'm gonna say is, burger lovers maybe approach with a grain of salt. 3/5
