It has a cool island feel that makes it a relaxing place to stop. We went on a Wednesday for the special that was listed on their website. They weren't aware it was still advertised, and the employee mentioned no one had ever asked about it before. Even so, he honored it by giving me a regular shaved ice for that price, which I really appreciated. The shaved ice itself was delicious with great flavors, and I loved how cute they were put together. After he finished bringing in his groceries we waited another 10 mins as he still had his closer sign up and messing with the music. He didn't open the window for us till 12:31pm asking if we had cash because his card reader wasn't working. We said no so he said we needed to wait more till he got the reader working. We waited a few more minutes and said he would try to see if the reader would work he said no so I asked if we could Zelle him or something as I only had $7 cash, he gave an attitude saying he couldn't do that so I said that's fine we would just go somewhere else. Before we left my friend asked what time does he usually open as we were under the impression they opened at 12 he said he was just running late today but my friend said "well next door said you're always running late with groceries or something " and he just rolled his eyes and closed the window on us.
