Some places that you give your business to you do so, unfortunately, hoping that your current visit will be better than your last. I am now on my third disappointment with this Sonic. This time, my wife and I went in just to get milkshakes. Seemed simple enough. The cashier was not very engaging, even when asked an opinion. My wife was asked if she wanted her shake as a classic or master. When told the difference in the two, she chose master. Without hesitation, the cashier said "that one doesn't come in a master". Couldn't help but wonder why a choice was offered if there was no choice. We arrived 9 minutes before half priced shakes began. I had told the cashier that we had to wait 10 minutes because we were there for shakes. She had said we didn't have to wait. I assumed this meant we would get the discount. We didn't. The manager came to the counter several times to see how the soccer game was going on the dining room television. He nodded at us the first time. No words. The employee who made our shakes was the most personable and friendliest one there. He greeted us as he gave us our shakes. The shakes were good. He was the only one there that seemed to be there for the customer. read more

Service is super slow. We ordered three drinks/slushes when it was not very busy and it took almost 30 minutes to get our drinks/slushes. By the time we got them two of the slushes we more of a super cold drink and not slush any more. Disappointed in this Sonic. read more

Cannot believe the audacity of their employee Sierra! After we paid at the stall box, she came out with the receipt talking about we owed another $3.22 when the receipt clearly said "Customer Due $3.22". Then she went into how we were supposed to receive free drinks from "Alex". When my husband explained that she owed him change, she told him "not to catch an attitude". You already know who needed to be CHECKED! I have never wanted to throw a good cherry limeade on anyone, but with a dead wrong, arrogant, eye rolling, defiant little girl who would rather argue than to go get a "multiple request" for her manager, she represents the outcome of parents who allow this behavior when society won't! If you dont discipline that mouth, some of us will do it for you. We will be calling corporate Monday morning and will cease all business with this disappointment in Sonics good name! Does not even deserve the one star. We went at the start of happy hour, ordered three drinks. After waiting 10 minutes, they come to my car and tell me they are brewing tea and it will be a couple of more minutes. Wait! What?!? I've already waited 10 minutes and now I'm going to have to wait longer?? I asked how much longer and the employee stated he didn't know. But if I wanted I could have sweet tea. Uh... If I had wanted SWEET tea, I would have ordered it. There is a reason I ordered unsweet. I ended up just leaving without any drinks. Total waste of time. There wasn't even an apology. They get no stars. This is absolutely the slowest sonic I have ever been to. All we ordered was 2 drinks and an appetizer and it took 25 min. Seriously people this isn't rocket science, it's fast food. read more

Horrible sonic we only got 2 burgers and a cheese tot and it took 35 minutes to come out. Then they forgot the bacon on my bacon cheese burger which we paid for. At 30 minutes we decided to call and see what was going on and they took 3-5 minutes to answer then answered with "yes?!" Like we were bothering him to call. This is the worst sonic me and my fiancee have ever been to will not be going back they always are slow and have horrible service, but we gave it another chance...big mistake. read more

This place is still complete ass! "Under New Management" MY ASS! Terrible customer service. We brought outside food in and I can understand if we did not order anything and we just sat down and started eating but we did order food. He refused to give me utensils because "I brought outside food in" ( btw I brought something they do not sell on their menu) well I bought boneless wings from sonic and the did not give me a fork ....okay no problem I'll just go ask for one. Well Sonic.. I have given you so many chances to redeem yourselves but today may have been the final straw. I don't claim to be a genius but I do know math. When you advertise half price drinks from 2-5pm and I visit at 3pm do not take only .49 cents off of a drink. Let me break down this universal language called "Math".. it is not a mythical creature fyi. If a beverage is normally $1.89 during a time that it's "half" off would mean .95 cents now we multiple by tax which is 8.25% here, .08 cents - .95+.08= $1.03. So why was I charged first $1.30 according to the guy who took the order.. then the girl at the window says "he told you a 1.30 well its actually $1.40". Wait what? How did the price magically jump another ten cents? And for those that maybe thinking that half the price and keep the original sales tax, that is .95+.16=$1.11. Or even if you half the total of the original price plus tax, it's $2.04÷2= $1.02. This isn't about .37 cents. I'm upset because every time I go to this location something goes wrong. This is the worst Sonic in town. The food doesn't taste as good as other Sonics, the service is too rushed when trying to make an order, they will cut you off in the middle of an order, they don't speak English, and if you get drinks only by Christmas, they will expect "tip service". The cheese on tater tots is crusty, the ultimate chicken club sandwich had a burnt ciabatta bun with burnt bacon and the chicken tasted like it had been cooked in cold grease, the fries are always cold, I could go on and on and on... read more

Finally got a management change! Finally getting great service and great food. I love that this sonic has a dinning room!!!!!

I waited well over 20 minutes for a slush. I watched the same carhop visit the same vehicle every five minutes delivering ONE straw at a time. I watched another carhop texting on his cell phone with every single delivery. After 20 minutes of waiting, I didn't even get the correct order. This is the most poorly run Sonic not only in Rosenberg but ALL OF THE HOUSTON AREA! They CANNOT get an order correct. Restaurant is FILTHY and people taking, preparing and serving are rude. They have kept my credit card twice. I waited 40 minutes in line last night only to get an incorrect order. read more

WORST AND DIRTY DRIVE THRU SERVICE IN ALL OF TEXAS 04-07-17 I've come to this sonic 3-5 times a year for several years and each time there's always new people (which in itself says a lot). Came tonight because my kids wanted slushes and boneless wings. We drove up behind 7 cars with several behind me (again shows how incredibly SLOW the service). I placed my order, got to the window and the girl in stained gray shirt was eating, spoke with her mouth full of food, to tell me the total, as I handed her my card, she proceeds to slurp on her large drink, wipes her mouth with her hand , takes my card with same hand, charges me for food and slushy, returns my card, takes another gulp of her drink, and I watch in disgust and in disbelief as she proceeds to make the slushy with unwashed hands. I see a man who seemed to be the manager wipe his nose on his arm as he was making someone else's milk shake. While the girl was making the slushy, she kept dropping things and picking it up from the dirty floor-again unwashed filthy hands. This place needs a thorough inspection from the health department. Also to add to all this disgusting situation, they were incredibly SLOW. The point of drive thrus are to be fast so people DO NOT have to wait a long time. Because of tonight experience and watching such nasty, extremely unhygienic handling of food and the preparation of food, we won't be back. I'm surprised no one's gotten food poisoning. read more
