The service is horrible! I mobile ordered a blast & some fries (both of which are basically ready to go whenever I drive up) and I waited 20 minutes past the time they said it would be ready. When the food arrived the worker claimed I said I was in stall 1 and they had been "walking around looking for me" which was absolutely false. The blast didn't have the items mixed in, just sprinkled on top. This isn't the first time I've waited a really long time for my order at this location. Really disappointing because I love sonic! My favorite item here is the chili cheese tots. I tried the toffee croissant bites and they are trash. Hollow and lacks flavor. Tastes nothing like toffee. Also, they take FOREVER to bring out your food when you order on the app. People in the drive through were ordering and leaving before me, while I sat for long periods of time, waiting on my order. I ordered online from Sonic Drive-In expecting a quick and easy pickup, but the whole experience was a mess. When I arrived, they had me park in stall #1 because my order supposedly wasn't ready yet. That would've been fine, except they completely forgot about me. I sat there waiting and waiting no updates, no food, until I finally had to call them myself just to remind them I was there. In total, it took about 40 minutes to get my order. For fast food, that's just ridiculous. To make things worse, when the food finally came out, everything was cold. On top of that, they forgot multiple toppings and sauces, which just made the whole meal even more disappointing. After spending around $60, you expect at least decent quality and service, but this was nowhere close. Customer service was terrible, the wait time was unacceptable, and the food quality didn't match what was ordered. Overall, a really frustrating and unfair experience. I just about never leave a review for anything but I truly had to. I came to this sonic just last week. After an over 40 minute wait for our food and being met with a rude worker who took our order. I a pregnant women had to go in to use the restroom, the restroom was worse than any gas station restroom I have ever seen in both available rooms it truly made me not even feel comfortable to eat my food. After our what felt like almost an hour wait our food finally came and the order was completely wrong my husband and I just decided to nibble on what felt even was remotely edible and left ( the food felt that of the quality of a gas station) . When Sonic came to Rialto I never had the opportunity to eat here before because they just weren't in the vicinity. However, since they came to Rialto this is one of our go to spots. They always bring the food out fresh/ made to order. The staff is young friendly and professional. Tonight we had our go to's chicken bites and mozzarella sticks again they didn't disappoint. When I read the low reviews of this location I still wanted to try this place for the first time! My Phone ate first taking snap shots of the outdoor drive-in sheds, as well as indoor dine-in area. Too bad servers don't roller skates at this location to your car. Several Drive-In stalls with Menu order board can be used if not ordering from the App. If doing online order for pick up, a Sonic carhop brings your order to the stall where you parked. I had a different experience today compared to the other reviewers. We chose the dine -in style for today. Stellar service at the counter, friendly and very professional approach to all customers. An older couple came in and asked for a Senior Discount but staff said only military discount. Seeing I guess the disappointment of the customer, the staff was just kind enough to give a discount in one item from their order. Staff was so nice who pleased her customer by a simple gesture of allowing this one time discount!! Now that's what I can call excellent customer service!!! I ordered the SUPER SONIC Bacon Double CheeseBurger. The burger meat was savory and tenderly fresh with every bite. The meat remained inside the bun unlike other burgers, they weren't coming out of the bun. I still wanted to try their shakes which a friend was raving about. read more

I love LOVE how I ask for extra topping and they ALWAYS DISAPPOINT!!! I don't know if they don't pay attention when we are ordering. I asked for extra topping on BOTH my blasts for they can repeat it back to me and confirm my order to get disappointed. On top of that extra topping is not free. I pay .80 cents for extra topping to have none added to my ice cream. I'm pretty much getting robbed of .80 cents to have NOTHING ADDED. This place is trash!!! If I could give zero stars I would!! I had one of the worst fast-food experiences I've had in a long time. I arrived around 3:30 PM and didn't leave until about 4:20 PM--for a CORNDOG and fries. That is completely unacceptable, especially for a fast-food restaurant. Even after waiting that long, my fries were still cold. While waiting, I saw multiple customers cancel their orders and leave, which says a lot. The staff inside were moving extremely slow, walking around casually, and even dancing around instead of focusing on getting orders out. This was during rush hour--there is no reason anyone should be acting like nothing matters when customers are waiting 30-40 minutes for basic items. It appeared there were only 2-3 staff members working, which is not their fault--but it IS management's responsibility to staff properly, especially during peak hours. Cold food, wrong orders, and excessive wait times are a direct reflection of leadership and operations, not just the front-line workers. This location needs serious changes--better staffing, better supervision, and better urgency during rush hours. Hiring additional staff and redirecting workflows would save this business from losing customers. No one should be waiting half an hour for fast food, especially when the food is still wrong and cold. I hope the owner or director sees this, because this location needs professional intervention ASAP. read more

Employees will all sit in the dining area and hang out while line is full of cars. They will be using their phones and texting, recording themselves, taking selfies etc, and you can see them clearly doing this if you're even 3 cars behind the main window. Waited 30 minutes in a stall for an online order. Checked in with employee and was forgotten about. Had to check in once more only to wait 10 more minutes for our food and drinks that were soggy and melted down. It was as if they had been sitting there. Haven't been into one of this places in a very long time. Not crowded at all (so quiet) makes it an enjoyable sit down meal. Warm reception by staff. Either dine in or order from covered parking stalls. There's also drive thru window. We asked if they still do on skate ( as shown on poster) delivery to the sheds and was told it's now optional. Would be cool to see them do it again. I like the soft and fluffy batter of the corn dog. Good chili dog. Dog not too salty and chili not too strong. Soft bun (lightly toasted) and meat patty (not dry) of cheese burger makes an easy bite every time. Tots crunchy on the outside but still soft inside. It is what it is. We came around here around 10 PM and the parking order was closed. So no cool waitresses coming out in roller skates, but makes sense especially with cold and windy it was. Instead we had to go through the drive thru line and the order voice box was super static-y with horrible audio quality. Imagine screaming into a blender while it's making smoothies out of metal kitchen utensils. It was so bad we had to park the car, get out, and yell into the box... We ended up getting the cherry and cranberry limeades. The soft crushed ice was nice, but even with mixing, both drinks were disgustingly sweet and syrupy. She ended up ignoring me while I waited in line at the speaker for about 6 minutes until I finally decided to drive up to the window. When I drove up, she continued to ignore me and I had to flag a worker down and ask if the window is working properly. The woman opened the window only to give me a rushed response saying "fine, but I'm helping the people behind you first." We waited a few more minutes before leaving the drive thru.
