Sonic Drive-In - Dirt tasting coffee couldn't even fill up cup either - Burgers Near Me - Pleasanton, Texas

Sonic has changed their fries to crinkled. Not sure I like it or not but it's a combination taste of French fries and tater tots. The taste is decent. The only thing I don't like about the change in fries is how greasy they are. I think the structure of the fries in the oil they are frying it in really saturates the fries with a heavy film coat. I would have taken a pic of the over oil coated grease on my hands but I didn't want it all on my phone. That's how gross it was. read more

Less than half the slots full, yet our two drinks (plain) took about 18 minutes. FOR REGULAR DRINKS. Apparently carhops are told to load up several orders on a tray before coming out. This saves them no time, and angers customers. Their boss needs retraining in time management and sensitivity to customer satisfaction. To see an example of an efficiently run Sonic, I suggest a visit to the location on Austin St in Georgetown, Texas. There is no reason the Pleasanton location cannot function properly. read more

They forgot my ranch 4 times in a row every thing else is good but they forgot my ranch

As soon as I pushed the button and told her I wanted food, she told me "well you know it's going to be a wait, we just opened." What did she think I was coming to get? A 99cent large drink? I don't mind waiting for fresh food. Brought out our food and the entire attitude sucked. This location has definitely gone down hill. read more

Service has progressively gotten worse throughout the years Now if you dare to try to get food here you can expect at least a 20 to 30 minute wait read more

Slow, slow, slow! Order taker was extremely difficult to hear, then had her screen mess up, so it took a while to get our order in. Then, it took a while to get our order, in which one of our two burgers was completely wrong. Then no receipt for our debit card payment. They did offer to "fix" the burger, and to "try" printing a receipt, but we were tired of the wait. The good news??? Plenty of room for improvement! read more

Tried to place an order on the app, submitted several times. Kept saying didn't go through. Ok, no big deal (driving to the beach). Just stopped somewhere else. Checked my email later only to see it had gone through. Called the store-apparently "they can't cancel orders I have to call someone else." Even though my money went to their restaurant? Not professional at all. Then the manager repeated herself loudly several times prior to hanging up on me. BEYOND unprofessional. read more

I ordered on app and arrived at sonic and had to wait for 20 min to get someone to answer at stall. Gave my name and stall #. Waited another 20 min. Called back and was told on its way. 10 min later called back and finally got my order it was cold and unedible. Worst place ever. Sad it used to be my go to. NO MORE. read more

Terrible meal. Took forever, the place is empty. Fries were absolutely terrible -to the point that you could tell how much they were going to suck just looking at them. The corn dogs were so soggy it was sort of stunning that they had been cooked at all. The mozzarella sticks were pretty good. Obviously the rest had been sitting for quite some time waiting for the mozzarella sticks. We asked for mustard when we ordered. They forgot that, and when we asked for it after the order was delivered, it took long enough for us to finish a corn dog each to get the mustard we asked for previously. Overall, I'd skip this place and eat at any of the other adjacent restaurants. read more

Used to be one of my favorite places, have dined there for over 30 year, but the quality has taken a nose dive the last couple of years to the point that I refuse to eat there anymore. The burgers were burnt and dry with a much longer wait time normally expected... New management is badly needed! read more

Got some drinks and a side of tater tots. Asked the lady for some ketchup since there was none in the bag (no big deal). We waited 15 minutes with no acknowledgment from our server as she walked by us with other people's order several times. Then, we pushed the button and asked someone. They said they'd tell someone right away.... another 20 minutes go by and nothing. Just for some ketchup.... that we never got because we had somewhere to be. read more

Of course. Orders was wrong. Took forever. Just like what's burger. This place sucks.

This sonic doesn't even deserve one star it is the worst Sonic location by far in the state of Texas. The owners should be ashamed it took us 30 minutes to get a tea and a coffee and when it was delivered the coffee tasted burnt. I use to manage a sonic in south Texas and I know what it takes and the Pleasanton location doesn't have it. It should be closed. Or new management should be put in place. read more

Best sonic I've ever been to, Dude named Thomas was super friendly and polite. Would recommend, French toast is awesome

Sonic has super slow service has less people working here I guess idk but a lady got here after us and got her stuff before us

Worst Sonic experience hands down. Wasted enough time waiting on my order to WASTE any more time on this review. Eventually had to ask them refund my CC. read more

I gotta say, Sonic's Happy Hour is a pretty close second to a happy hour with alcohol. Who doesn't love cherry limeades? For half price? Which is about 90 cents? Yeah, that's what I thought. However, this Sonic gets 3 stars for it's half-assery. I ordered a New York dog, and when I got it I noticed that they had just ripped a foot-long hot dog bun in half. At least, that's what I hoped happened. Maybe someone got hungry and decided to nosh on half a hot dog bun. Either way, super shady. Either give me an entire foot long hot dog or use a 6 inch bun. read more

Unless your name is "Mija" bring your patience. About 5 min after we ordered 5 slushes a girl pulled in next to us, she was immediately greeted asked how her day was and had her order taken, two slushes and a burger combo. She must have priority because hers was the next order out. We had to wait another 5min after she left (15 min total) before we got our slushes. read more

I visited the Sonic in Pleasanton, TX today between 3-4:00. Silly me, I placed my order and realized I forgot my purse! I notified the attendant and I ran home to get my purse really quick. It was Happy Hour and the place was super busy when I came back. I let the employees know that I had come back for the order. They were AWESOME! Not only did they make my order fresh, they came out apologizing to me for the delay! The manager and server were both so nice and even gave me a couple of tokens for complimentary drinks on our next visit! You guys made my day! What a great example of excellent customer service! Thank you! 1-20-16 read more
