My friend and I were looking to meet somewhere when we came across a local gem, Pleasant Perk Coffee House. Upon entering, the coffee shop welcomes you with a cozy environment and a friendly staff. Samantha, the owner was very knowledgeable of the various available items. We decided on a cortado, latte, an apple strudel and a cookie which were all delicious. This would be a great place to spend the morning or afternoon hanging out with friends, reading, or working. The interior is bright and spacious and has tons of comfy and cute seating options. Staff were very nice. The drinks are way too sweet, though. Even for me; and that's saying something! I would recommend just getting a regular coffee, matcha, chai, etc. rather than trying one of the specialties. I got a lavender matcha and it was just way too much. I had to run an errand that took me to Pleasanton. I found this little coffee house on Yelp and it did not disappoint! Whenever I try a new coffee place I always get their plain drip coffee with no cream or sugar (true coffee drinker here!). The barista recommended that I get the Americana instead. I'm so glad that I did! Truly the best coffee I've had in Texas! The interior was so cute and there are comfy couches inside and a cute front porch area outside. Absolutely loved it here and will definitely return whenever I'm in the area again. read more

Drove by from Austin and detoured for this place, it was totally random and it was amazing! Super friendly service and the syrups are great! The barista made my drink perfectly! I love the decorating. Drive thru is so convenient in the mornings after dropping off my daughter at school if I want a treat before heading back home. The pastries are always super yummy! It's story time, folks. So, this weekend I went on a road trip. I have been trying to support more local, therefore I didn't want to go to Starbucks that morning. All the local coffee shops I knew were in the opposite direction of where I was headed. I hit the road, thinking to myself that once I make a stop, I'll look for coffee shop. I'm driving down the highway and lo and behold, my engine stalls out. Yikes. I pulled over, and my car doesn't start. Just great. Maybe 10 minutes later, it finally starts up again. I pulled off onto a little dirt road to take a breather and evaluate my options. Suddenly, a sweet lady stopped and asked if everything was alright. She then pointed me in the direction of the nearest Walmart, so I could pick up some coolant (my car was also overheating at this point). Fast forward a little bit, I decide that it's time to grab some coffee. I did a quick search, and Pleasant Perk Coffee House was the first thing that popped up. That's where I headed. I pulled up to the cutest coffee house and put my car in park. My jaw dropped (though you couldn't tell through the mask) as I walked inside and saw the most attractive space I've ever been inside. It was perfectly decorated. I ordered my usual, an iced vanilla latte with almond milk, along with an in-house made cinnamon roll. (I thought about throwing in some ice cream, because yes! They carry blue bell!) Drink in hand, I have myself a quick tour. Absolutely beautiful inside. This visit had effectively turned my day around. As I departed, the staff wished me a "pleasant day." I think it's safe to say that anytime I'm around, I'll be taking a stop at Pleasant Perk Coffee House. read more

Nice little coffee shop, with a convenient enough location and a drive-through, which is great. Only been here a couple of times and ordered iced lattes, both of which were very good. The hours are great, and they are the only coffee shop in the area I've found open on Sunday. My only "complaint" would be that their menu is not on their website, which made me hesitant to go initially. Otherwise, everything is great! read more

A nice and quaint coffee shop with brand new la marzocco espresso machine. Very friendly staff. They have great options for kids. The homemade lemonade was refreshing. Lot is space to sit inside. Menu - 5 Stars Customer Service - 2.5 Stars We have been spending $20 or more every single day at this place since we had our first bites and sips. We have also recommended Pleasanton Perk to all of our local family and friends. Today, 3/8/21, I was asked if I wanted to leave a tip on my card. I obliged, even though I find it strange for someone to ask me to tip them before I've even been served. I was then handed a bag of delicious croissants like they were a football from a no look handoff between Dak Prescott and Zeke Elliot. We managed to not drop it, but the lady was so busy in other conversation she didn't reward us our point for purchasing items. I would have asked, but I find it strange to have to ask to be rewarded for being a good customer just trying to support their local small business. read more

Best little coffee house in Pleasanton! I drive through whenever I'm in town for a really good whole milk latte. Sometimes I'll get my kids a scoop of ice cream and we will hang out inside and meet other homeschool moms for "fun fridays". They have a very comfortable and kid friendly space inside and outside. I haven't tried much of their food but I have had a blueberry scone because my father was raving about it! It was delicious. All the employees are extremely friendly and the playlist is AMAZING. They play ABBA to some of todays indie pop hits to country classics. If you need a change of scenery to do some online computer work, write or read this is gonna be your new go-to spot. read more

I wanted to like this place so much especially because a Starbucks is being built. I wanted to support local but sorrryyyy. I recommend Sunshine Coffee House. The first time I went I ordered my all time favorite-white chocolate mocha, for close to $5. It was not that good. Too sweet. And when I paid the girl she asked if I wanted to leave a tip. Normally I would-and did but found it rude to be asked. The second time I went I waited 20 minutes in line then when I got to the window another 8 minutes-and all I ordered was a large coffee. I wanted to leave while I was in line but the drive through set up doesn't allow you to. As I waited at the window I could see the girls inside laughing and standing around. After all this the coffee was not good. There are other options, but if you chose to go there hopefully you have better luck. read more
