    Bread at the table.

This restaurant was recommended to us, we were out in Floresville and you have choices but not a lot of choices. I was craving a pizza, so we took the kids and went to check it out. The parking lot is kinda small, is a strip mall type location, so parking is limited. The restaurant is not too small , but. It too big. About 12-15 tables. We sat down and we were greeted by the waiter. Very polite and knowledgeable about to menu. You can see the kitchen from just about any place in the restaurant. Very casual place, the pizzas that were being served looked and smelled good. We got a pizza big enough for 3-4 people. Thin crust, cheese and two meats, pepperoni and Canadian bacon. The bacon was the best tasting. Daughter got the spaghetti with meat sauce. Very tasty. Andrew got the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, he devoured it. I had a sample of the spaghetti and it was very good. I meant to get a sample of the fettuccine, but when I went to get a sample, it was gone. That boy love the Alfredo. They have soft drinks, I got a Stella Artois, in a bottle, and the beer was good coming out of a bottle. The food was decent, we will have to try again next time we are in town. Maybe try some of the other dishes.

Chicken piccata was excellent. Their bread is super addictive. Everybody who works there was really nice.

As usual, this was a convenient meeting point with the parents in the course of Mr R's visit…read more We met on a weekday afternoon, tons of available parking and perhaps a half dozen seated parties from young families to retirees when we entered. It was warm to start but the AC caught up in a reasonable time. Ma enjoyed the usual house salad with the rest of us and a dish of meatballs since she's given up carbs; was very satisfied with the flavor/texture. Her husband ordered his absolute usual, the fettuccine chicken alfredo. I can truthfully swear in court he HAS actually tried and enjoyed other dishes, but I think he himself has forgotten that fact. Mr R, eating vegetarian this day, had the eggplant parmigiana which still had a lovely crisp on it and enough sauce/cheese to complement without becoming overwhelming. The last 2/5 of his plate was full of spaghetti marinara and he cleared the entire thing even after a sub at Angellis for lunch. I had the chicken cacciatore for the first time in a while, and while warned it was a little spicy found it was a lovely gentle heat. The chicken cutlets do seem a little smaller since the last time but I could be wrong. The basket of rolls, in contrast, was ginormous. I don't think I recall being served that many for a party of four here, but again. Perhaps I misremember. Naim took great care of us in between the other tables and several to go orders. He always does and he loves a clean table. No one had room for dessert and we didn't win the fight for the tab so I can't tell you the actual price. Took home that mountain of fresh rolls and they fed Mr R and myself the entire next day just enjoying buttered rolls, tomato sandwiches, and using up leftovers in the fridge like brisket and the rest of my chicken cacciatore. We lingered a long time catching up and no one rushed us. Bathroom is aged but clean. In Seguin's collection of several great Texmex and bbq establishments plus franchise locations, this is one of the independent places that offers welcome variety.

The side salad was just the right size, and as usual, the meal came with their rolls, which are chewy, tasty, and filling. The service was likewise quick and friendly. My spouse ordered the malbec, but they were out, so she asked for merlot, and so the server recommended the cabernet sauvignon, but that is a minor nitpick. All told it's good, quality Italian food for Seguin, Texas.

A simple tossed salad followed, crisp and refreshing, just the right lead-in for the main event. And oh, that main course! I ordered the Veal Marsala with veggies, and it was absolutely outstanding -- rich, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Each bite had me smiling, and it was the kind of dish that makes you want to slow down and savor it. The staff here deserves their own round of applause. My server was attentive and kind, and when it came time to pay, the lady at the counter was so friendly it felt like leaving a friend's house after dinner. This little gem has won me over completely. When I pass through Cuero again, there's no question -- I'll be back at La Bella Tavola without a doubt.

To say I was disappointed by my meal here would be an understatement. I had wanted to try La Bella…read moreTavola for several years and finally did this evening. I imagined on Valentine's Day that the atmosphere would be more pleasant but it was completely lifeless inside. There was no music playing and practically no one speaking to each other, making it quite awkward for my friends and I. We started with a very underwhelming Caesar salad, to say it was average would be a lie. We then bit into very obviously frozen mozeralla sticks with no flavor and a rubbery texture. Our pasta dishes were painfully plain, with the lasagna not even being layered, sauce that had no flavor, and an overwhelming amount of rubbery cheese. I understand this is a small town and suppliers likely don't provide the best options. However, I was actually angry when I ordered FOCACCIA and received a French roll cut down the middle and covered in more rubbery cheese. I suppose whoever made the menu has just never had focaccia anywhere else and assumed it means cheesy bread in Italian. Not to mention my server tried to charge me twice for it. If you are looking for somewhere to eat in Cuero do yourself a favor and go to Whataburger, Taqueria Jalisco, or pick up a frozen lasagna from HEB if you are really craving Italian. Quite frankly this was the worst italian food I've ever had, I'm sorry to say.

One thing we really appreciated was being able to order directly through their website instead of using a third-party delivery service. The food was outstanding! We ordered the Beef Lasagna, Seared Red Shrimp, and my wife's favorite, Albi's Shrimp. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The bread was also amazing--we enjoyed it so much that we'll be asking if we can order some by itself next time! Overall, we were very impressed with the quality, taste, and fair pricing. We'll definitely be ordering from Albi's Vite Italian Kitchen again and highly recommend giving them a try!

Our waitress Shay S was on top of everything! The bread with olive oil served as soon as you sit down is a winner. The pastas are cooked to perfection. I do feel a need to knock the Caprese salad as it fell short on presentation with uninspiring tomatoes. This is a cozy place to have a nice sit down dinner with a romantic ambiance. Table 13 is the best table in the house. I'm sorry I did not take pictures this time. On the next visit, I won't come so hungry! LOL
