but why do i sit there waiting for one drink for 20 minutes? seems insane and unreasonable to me.

I love this place! The people are always so nice and take good care of me. The cherry lime aids are my favorite.

First day of school. Stopped by to get four wacky packs for the kids. Received bags and no toys. Pushed the red button... Are you guys completely out of wacky pack toys? Yes. Thanks for telling us when we ordered......... read more

Nice staff lady took my order and did fantastic. I was in the area grabbing something from my work office & getting the daughter lunch. I saw something that caught my attention kids chicken meal.... I definitely will return when in the situation of hunger and at work or leaving work. I really felt valued with my interaction with the staff. They were pleasant and smiling....that goes a long way! Thank you again for being awesome. Respectfully, Bryan Yukon Oklahoma read more

Sonic Drive-In - Burgers Near Me - Piedmont, Oklahoma

This is one of my regular stops - don't know what I'd do without my Sonic! I've had most everything on the menu, and have never been disappointed, and my carhop is outstanding - she's always running and smiling - super sweet! read more

Went to Sonic yesterday. I ordered via the app as I had errands to run, so placed the order set pickup for about 25 minutes later and did my errands in town. I then went to the location about 4 minutes ahead of my requested time. I waited 12 minutes total, so not completely awful. Food was fine and the carhop was pleasant. What wasn't fine was when I was sitting there, my wife texted and said she would LOVE a vanilla shake as it actually sounded good (she's going through chemo, so food that she wants to eat is an issue). So as I sit in the stall I hit the "red button". In 8 minutes they never responded to me but did to the cars around me that pulled up after me. I complained to the carhop when she came out and she said "well we are busy". She was willing to take my order but given she had just given me hot food and if they are too busy to answer my request for help I would be waiting too long for a freaking shake and then the other food would be ruined. We have been to this location many times and each time I go I am reminded why we don't go very often. So back to not giving them any further business we go. read more

Staff for the most part is very nice and always tells us to have a blessed day. Super helpful and always willing to help.

Very great service high quality food. The frito wraps were amazing. They had a lot of drink options. All of the spots were full and I still got my order within 4 minutes of being there. The carhop was very friendly. Definitely will be coming again. read more

Great burger and amazing service! I really enjoyed the location as well, we were able to get in and back out into our trip. Love when we're in Oklahoma and can get some sonic! read more

This is easily the worst sonic I've ever been to and this has been ongoing for 10+ years luckily for them there isn't much competition in piedmont but I've finally had it with this location there have been multiple (like more than 3) times where I have pulled in like 10-15 minutes before closing time hit the button just to be told "we're closed" and then they turned the lights off but last night I was given what I can only categorize as the worst food poisoning in recorded human history literally doing this review on the toilet I would take my chances with gas station sushi from a dumpster before I eat here again read more

Passing through on my way to Okla City and stopped in because Sonics are rare in Calif and though I'd try it out. Always a great place for a 2,000 cal milkshake! While waiting in line I was taken aback by this one guy (apparently the boss or manager) making fun of an employee, who was standing right there, because of some kind of needing time off situation. He was making fun of her to some other boss-type (they were a little older than the kids working there). Other workers could hear this. The employee clearly uncomfortable; nothing funny about it; no point in it other than to make someone feel bad. Very bad form. Sad. read more

If you just want a drink then go for it! Otherwise, it isn't worth your money. The last few times I've ordered a blast I've even added extra topping on the app and only received vanilla ice cream with a few Reeses sprinkled on top. It's just laziness. read more

Pulled into sonic at 9:59 for a drink. Lights are on pushed the button. Teenager answered to tell me they were closed. No you close at 10. So what I really here is that you closed at 9:30-9:45 and your just mIlking the owner by staying clocked in. Just close at 9:30 and save the money. You just lost me as a customer over 2.99 RT 44 read more

From a close source, the employees are smoklng dope in their cars on break or when they can get away. Owner needs to drug test as soon as possible as it appears out of hand already. read more

This Sonic is out of control!! I have never had an order that was made correctly! I refuse to go and spend my money there but my mother still does??? Anytime she has ever brought something by for us it is ALWAYS wrong! I would love to see this place go out of business bc they will never correct their ignorance from owner, manager, all the way to do car hoppers! read more

Sonic Drive-In - This clearly says cb w/ ketchup & mustard only, NOT lettuce, tomato, pickle, & onion! Not difficult Piedmont! - Burgers Near Me - Piedmont, Oklahoma

Very poor service, order not correct, lids on drinks not on properly so will spill the drink and way too much ice. Ok, so I gave you another try just last night. Had to call back in and wait some more because part of the order was missing. So glad we checked before our food before leaving but Is this the way you want to run your "fast" food business. Maybe you should look deeper than just "hoping" it goes better on my next visit? read more

Probably the second worst Sonic I've been to. Ironically the worst is the last town I lived in. This place is so inconsistent. You can almost guarantee if you have onions that are supposed to be cooked, they won't be. Your order will be missing cheese, not filling up the shake you paid handsomely for...just all the little things that are so easy to do but this location always seems to fail at them. If you are craving Sonic, hit the one on NW Expressway, it's much better. read more

They have a good variety. It's not like you expect it to be a five-star restaurant when you go. You get what you pay for but at least you know it is going to be the same generally every time read more

Every time I go to this Sonic I think I'll give it another try and every time it is worse than the last. Waited 20 minutes for our food then we got our food and everything was cold and My children's milk was warm. I'm not sure if it's just this location or all Sonics but the overall quality of food is absolutely laughable. This is the first review I've ever written on yelp that's how disappointed I am. read more

The restaurant was about 30 minutes from closing, yet I waited 15 of those minutes in stall 13 with no service. Only that 'Red button activated! We'll be with you soon!' message hinted that the place even knew I was there. After maybe 10 minutes of idleness, I reversed to see that there was indeed one other vehicle in a different stall and one parked in the lot, as well as a person in the building. It was then that it dawned on me that I was, in fact, being ignored. I tried stall 17 in case whoever was working was deathly afraid of the number 13, but it was just another five minutes of waiting. Two cars among all of the stalls, and 15-20 minutes of no human contact--it was simply unreasonable. I restrained myself from finding something to smear on the ordering screen so whoever was ineptly manning the place would have *some* job to do, and this review (for the singular purpose of which I downloaded the app Yelp) is all I have to show for the endeavor. All I wanted was a milkshake. read more

This one hurts to have to write because I love piedmont and everything about Piedmont, but geez this sonic is consistently awful. This just was the final punch, and I've now made the choice to skip over this sonic and go somewhere else :(. First off I don't go to sonic for food very often, I find that all sonics are pretty over priced for what you get, I mainly go for drinks and their route 44 ice water for 60 cents mmmmmm that ice. But sometimes it's special to stop and get my son a wacky pack, he likes pushing the red button. Today I was pretty upset with what we got. Rubbery cold fries, two small hard chicken strips that look like they had been bottom of the bag bits. The sad thing is that I don't want to take it back..... I'll just get another bag of disappointment. I have yet to have one trip to this sonic where I didn't sigh in disappointment after getting food. I thought it would be best to stick to drinks, but even that isn't safe, I had ordered a ice water one day and it came out to the car in a reused cup, there was traces of strawberry stuff on the inside of the lid and around the rim of the cup..... I mean come on, it's water, you see everything! Might not have been so noticeable with a Coke in it or something. I wish I could like this sonic, but I just can't. read more

Sonic Drive-In - Sad wacky pack meal :( this is everything, nothing had been eaten yet, and it was all cold - Burgers Near Me - Piedmont, Oklahoma

One of the worst experiences i have ever had at a sonic and that is pretty bad! First I order my meal and am then told "we don't have any carbonation". How in the world do you run a sonic without that? isnt their claim to fame all the drinks they make? How in the world. Next I decide "ok ill be healthy and just drink a cup of water". They charged me an extra 20 cents for tap water? so it is more expensive for them to give me tap water than a soda? Does that even make sense? And to top it all off he brings me my meal and says "here is your burger and fries " and walks away. I open the bag to find cheese sticks. Needless to say I gave up and drove away. I will not be returning in the future. read more
