I'm not the kind of guy that blasts a place for one bad experience (everyone is entitled to a bad day) but this sonic is just the WORST. Last 3-4 visits have all had something wrong with the order. Just lack of attention to detail. Small details and big details. Burger order is wrong (several times), wrong size on chili cheese fries, blast has not been mixed so all the toppings are in the very top and a pile at the bottom. They are friendly and apologetic for their mistakes, but at some point that is not enough. Doubt I'll be back. read more

Of all the chain hamburger places, this one stands out to be my least favorite. Stopped here for the first time since we moved to the USA mainland since I had never been to one. (They weren't around when I left to live overseas). Ordered a pretty much standard single patty cheeseburger. No wow factor or nothing that jumped out at you about it, reminded me of Burger King and they are my least favorite hamburger. I don't know what all the hype about them is? My next burger adventure is Culver's and In and Out Burger, both I have never tried. read more

Like all fast food places they can have a bad day. Lucky for me I have nothing but positive visits. I buy about 8-10 bags of ice a week and I get food about every other visit. Melissa, Megan and Michelle all are very nice and they all have great attitudes! Only thing I would recommend for some employees is to act a little more positive about wanting to be there. read more

I came here last night because my mom and dad wanted the Oreo Concrete Custard. My husband went through the drive thru, we ordered 4 concretes and a drink, the young lady came out and I asked for a cup holder, she ignored me, I asked again and was ignored me so my husband finally asked and she's smirks and says we don't have any... turns around and walks away. The Oreo concrete only had one Oreo cookie in it I think the employees are rude at night here. During the day the customer service is good. read more

I only stopped here because the drinks on TV looks amazing and this particular day was very HOT & I was in need of a nice, cold, refreshing drink! We pull into a stall and take a peek at the menu. I've only had Sonic once and that was in California-years ago. So, as my eyes scan the board back & forth, forth & back, I saw a drink that caught my eye-Pineapple jolly rancher-OH YES HUNNY, I'll take a large. My mouth is watering and it seems like it was taking forever to get the drinks out to the car. Oh boy, her she comes, drinks in had, GIMMIE, GIMMIE, I'm ready. So I take a big swig and allow it to sink into my taste buds and OH BOY... What a let down. There was a horrible after taste after the drink. There was bits of what I believe to be real pineapple but I couldn't finish it. Although the reviews were pretty bad-my thought was how bad can a slushy be-Ummm, yea bad. read more

I haven't eaten at Sonic a lot because it was so slow. I recently went back and was actually surprised that it didn't take 15 minutes to get my food. I never had an issue with my order being correct but the wait was too long. I only gave it 3 stars for that reason but if I go back again and find the service is still fast then I may revise my review. read more

This is by far the worst sonic I have ever been to in my life. The manager was terrible, came outside to yell at us because the price was incorrect like it was our fault? Since this is the only sonic left in the area we occasionally will eat here. The one on wells road and 220 were the best, yet they leave the worst location still open?? Crazy. But ever since it re opened after a remodel the food is awful and it takes well over ten minutes to get service in the drive-thru. I've waited 20 minutes at the most. Can't imagine pulling up to sit or park. We've received shakes barely half full or not stirred, smashed tots, exploded cheese sticks, cold corn dogs, and burnt breakfast burritos among other things. The staff is completely stressed, one server looked like she was going to cry when I tipped her. It was lunch time and they had one cook and she was serving the entire establishment. There were about two cars ahead of us and another three behind, how can you expect one person to serve that many, take orders, and take the payments?? She mentioned they were ridiculously under staffed and she had no help. I've even had two times no one ever answered the drive thru box. This place needs help badly, until then can't say I will ever come back. read more

Ordering the custard concrete is a nightmare. They give you the regular sonic blast with some funky powder at the bottom of the cup. I've ordered the "dark chocolate" custard and it came with NO chocolate at all, TWICE. I can't give a 0 unfortunately. Hire new kitchen staff. read more

This location seriously makes me hate Sonic. It's a mike from my house but I never go. I reconsidered because it was hot and we wanted milkshakes. First off, it takes forever for someone to acknowledge you, then it takes twice as long to receive your food. Corn dog tasted like it's been out all day and fries were cold. Then didn't even give the correct amount of change. So disappointing considering I'd always come for desserts because I like Sonic, I just can't with this location. read more

I arrived at this location after 8pm to order from the "drive thru." My order was placed and I was instructed to drive around. After several minutes my children commented that the employees were playing and smoking. I observed through the logo window filter several employees playing rock, paper, scissors. Nothing to freak out about but I wanted them to get the food out and it was almost 10 minutes so I approached the door and an employee said that everything was being made fresh. I returned to my car and then began to observe the employee escapades through the window. I saw a woman sitting playing on what may have been her phone and rubbing her face, touching other employees, play fighting with them. I saw several young men touching tables, scratching shoulders, touching their face to wipe, playing rock/paper/scissor, scratching their heads, etc. Not one single time did I observe anyone washing their hands while preparing the food to give us. The worst offense was when I saw a large gentleman with collared shirt VAPING at the prep/expo station. Why would he even think that was ok? Actively vaping over the food area and playing around with no concern for hygiene set off red flags. I walked to the door and used a strongly worded statement to express my disgust and refusal of the food. I can on imagine what else goes on there. Not even sure why the have the drive thru option if you have to pull around and wait 15 minutes for someone to acknowledge you. Even if you took away all the disgusting things you are still left with horrible customer service. When they realized the order was going to take longer than normal someone on staff, hopefully the manager should have waddled her butt out to make us aware. They have zero hospitality and from what I observed I doubt their hygiene standards are much better. Sonic is fun, fast food but it's not worth the hassle at this location. If I want tots I will drive all the way to Fleming Island! Remind your employees those logo window filters don't make you invisible. It's like staring into a giant fish bowl and we can see everything. Won't be back to this location. Can't even rate it because I didn't take the food but since a ZERO rating isn't an option I had to hit one. They don't deserve a 1 Star. read more

It's pretty hilarious that this Sonic has so many places to order food, because based on my two visits, they are literally only capable of serving one customer at a time. The first time, I parked and pressed the order button. After about 7 or 8 minutes, I gave up and left. Tonight I waited behind 4 other cars in the drive through line. So I've stopped by here a few times over the past couple of years and have to admit I have never had any issues at all. Until tonight. But at the same time, all it was was an XL mozzarella sticks instead of the XL orings I ordered, which the runner quickly corrected. Not sure where the animosity comes from about this particular Sonic. Yes, the one on wells was awesome, AND the one in Middleburg when I was out that way, but then they all were cooler when the runners actually wore quads and skated everywhere.
