27 minutes to wait for a call ahead order. That is straight up ridiculous. My husband and I sat in slot 8 before driving around to the drive thru, after waiting almost 30 minutes for our order ahead. We had a breakfast burrito, a chili wrap and two drinks. Granted there was only one cook and newbie on duty, but come on.... that qualifies for nutsy. There should be at least 3 people to make sure things go smoothly.It was insane.But thankfully things were made right, and we able to leave with a complete order. I usually always make my order on the app and pick up at a stall, so I can leave a tip from my card. My order yesterday was quick and exactly as ordered. I have refrained from goin here for a very long time due to the quality and service of your establishment. First off. The service here is by far, the poorest i have ever witnessed. No one seems to care about getting orders out in a decent amount of time at all. I came there to get a shake and a blast. I sat on the drive through line for 20 minutes before i even made it to place my order. Overall i was there for 32 minutes. Why? Why is this? Do the employees just not care? Does the owner not care? consistently getting worse. almost 18$ for 2 CB's and 2 fries. Store, and it took 5 mins. with 1 ONE car in front of me!!! Sonic, to home and on table less than 5 mins. all wrapped in bag should be hot.... nope!!! By the time I put them on table COLD!!!!!! If you are not there when they are busy you get leftovers!!! and food sitting on grill warmer corner and fries that have been hanging for 10 - 15 mins. . Braums is faster and I have to go in. I've been to this location probably more than 200 times over the years and it has consistently had the lowest-performing service of the three Sonics in Muskogee. I used to loooove going through here for a strawberry limeade (easy ice because Sonic will drown you in ice) and chicken strip sandwich. The challenge is that it will take you twice as long to get your order here, although it's often less crowded than the ones on York Street, and the order is reasonably likely to be wrong. I think it's worth driving another eight or so minutes to the one down by the intersection of York and Okmulgee. read more

Their machine declined both my debit & credit card. I had to ask them to punch it in manually & I don't even know if they ran it because they neglected to give me a receipt. I have been to this Sonic time and time again. I'm really a nice guy but I wonder why I continue to torture myself as I wait 10-15 for a drink. Granted these are drinks that you can only get from Sonic, but let's not forget that I can drive to the other side of town in 5 minutes and get the same drink in 1/2 the time. I have also been here on numerous occasions when I wanted to pay for this long awaited $ 1.79 drink with my debit card and was unable to do so because the credit card machines were not working. I am never above ordering and driving off and leaving my order behind if I have to wait for more than 10 minutes, and even that's too long! The quality of food seems to be typical for most Sonic's and this local is really no different. Probably my biggest concern is the appearance of thuggery hanging out at and working at this location. Never again, 45 minutes for a med. watered down shake. I've given this store so many opportunities to get it together, yet they never cease to amaze me at what new way they cheat me out of time and money. As a whole, I'm not impressed with the sonic franchise, however, through my travels across the country I rarely find a good sonic and when I do, they usually screw it up in the second or third visit. This business was wrong on so many levels that I'm not sure where to start. First, I ordered a #1, which is a single patty cheeseburger, and ordered them to hold the lettuce, onion, and tomato, and added mustard. What I got was a #2,. which is a double patty cheeseburger, with only what I had not wanted. Customer service was non-existent, as well as the complaint resolution. Only good sonic in town less then 15 min in drive thru, yet they tend to be deaf and can't take your order correctly 50% of the time.

I find it quite ironic that for a fast food restaurant, the wait time is anything but fast. I have found myself waiting up to 15 minutes for a simple drink. When I order shakes, they are often not well mixed. Most of the time when I place an order the person taking my order cannot understand what I am saying, so I have to constantly repeat myself. It seems like a bunch of teens work at this location, teens that do not value excellent customer service or communication skills. I keep coming here because I live about 2 minutes from the location, but I might start going somewhere else. Do yourself a favor and go to Braums. I usually go to this Sonic because it is the one I've had the least amount of bad experiences at this location. Most of the time the service is extremely slow, even when there seem to be hardly any other people there. Half of the time it takes two to three attempts for them to repeat the order correctly and then it may still come out wrong. Sometimes it's good, but usually not. read more
