This is a sonic blast, which has literally no candy pieces in it. I paid seven dollars for a vanilla ice cream basically. This is a reoccurring theme at this location. Everytime I order something from this location, there is a problem with it. Three days in row, mistake after mistake after mistake! Why return, I love limeades....first day who knows what I got, but not a limeade and no mustard. We tipped generously and asked about my drink, the missing yellow mustard and were just greeted with a thanks and a quick exit. Day two was stale chilli fries and tiny tiny sprinkling of cheese, but the strawberry diet limeade was good. Day three got a cherry limeade and pretty sure we are supposed to get a cherry, nope just a stem! Warning. many of the car bays are out of order and would be nice if you would block the spot with a cone, instead you pull in and out ...Fix this. i went to sonic today with my cousin and the food and our drinks were very good, the drinks were possibly the best ive had in awhile but the man over the headset was so rude he said "what's your order" in a hateful voice and i started speaking and he never took the order, so we clicked the button again and he never answered and so we clicked it a final time and he said yet again, "whats your order" in the same rude tone. several of my friends who have been to sonic have complained about the nightshift order taker and say he is severely rude to them to so im writing this on behalf of them as well. do better. read more

we came for shakes and they were out of bananas so I ordered my shake with out bananas which was a strawberry hot fudge shake and somehow ended up with a hot fudge sundae and by time I got my shake it was half melted. read more

They do a poor job with their ice cream compared to the sonic in Tazewell. I ordered a sonic blast and the bottom half did not have any toppings (same problem my friends). I suggest you go to Dairy Queen and get their blizzard because they do a way better job of making it. Their mozzarella sticks are pretty good though. But I wouldn't recommend getting ice cream from this location. If you're really craving a Sonic Blast, go to Tazewell. read more

A late-night ice cream craving brought me to the Middlesboro Sonic. I mistakenly arrived about 20 minutes before they closed for the night, so the service was a little slow. I ordered the Caramel Brownie Master Blast but was highly disappointed: it was basically a cup of vanilla ice cream with a few brownie bits and a small drop of caramel ON TOP. I expected the caramel brownie to be mixed throughout but it really was only on top. It was not what I expected and for the price, definitely not worth it. I would try Sonic for some of their other food, but I would never get their ice cream again. read more

This review is for the Sonic in Middlesboro, KY. I was there at approximately 4:15 pm on December 20, 2020. I provided my order and as I waited for my food I noticed as I sat there that the employees inside were not wearing masks or gloves. I was parked neat the exit of the building and the windows allowed me to see clearly inside. I counted at least 6 employees working on preparing differing food items without masks and/or gloves. When my food arrived I asked to speak with the manager. He came out putting on his mask as he did so. When he asked how he could help me, I told him that I noticed the 6 maskless employees. I also told him that when he went back inside I expected to see them all put on masks. Further, I told him that if that did not happen I would not return to his restaurant ever again. He immediately "invited" (to use his language) me to leave the site right then. I told him I planned on eating my meal first. He then threatened me with calling the police if I did not leave. This angered me and I asked him for his name. He told me "Mitchell" and when I asked for his last name he said he did not have to give me his last name. I told him that I had just left my mother's funeral and that she had died from Covid-19. He told me that his grandmother has Covid. I said, "Well, I hope you get sick from it too." He replied that if he did that would be on him. Not wanting a confrontation with police I then left. Four Subsequent calls to and from the corporate offices for and apology from the company, owner or management of this location have been unfruitful. My advise to anyone thinking about stopping here is not to put your life in danger. Eat somewhere that takes your health and safety into account. Go to businesses that care about you which in not the Sonic in Middlesboro, KY. read more
