I have been a few times and each time was a disappointment. Where do I start. Yeah I was taking food just across the street and it was cold by the time I drove across haun. Ordered mozzarella sticks...yep cold as ice. Oh and they forgot my sauces after I asked for them twice. Ordered a sweet tea once and they gave me a cherry coke. Finally a great place in Menifee to get a simple hot dog. I had been waiting for one to open across the street but was very disappointed. The Chicago Dog is really good here everything was very fresh, for only being the 2nd day open the staff was very fast, a few mistakes but they will get the hang of it soon. I was impressed with all of them, the only reason I taking off a star and it will be trivial to some is the fact they don't have black pepper??? I like pepper on everything. no biggie next time I'll bring my own. Also it would be nice if they gave you a tray to eat off of. I no longer go to Sonics in Menifee. Every time I've gone through the drive-thru, they mess up my order. Also, they give me old hamburgers that have been made early. I order a burger meal and they think it's ok to give me an old burger that is bigger than the one I ordered. Every time I say no cheese, they give me cheese. I don't want bigger burgers, I want what I want. I have complained, but they just blow me off and still screw up my order. I now go to the one in Murrieta.....better service. read more

I love that we finally have a sonic in Menifee! Thank you! This place is pretty great. The service is actually quite fast for how packed they always seem to be. My only issue is size and portions. I usually get a chili tot and I'll order a large but it's more like what you'd expect to be a medium. They give it to you in a hot dog wrapper so you'd expect it to be full but it's usually only half full which is a little ridiculous for the upcharge you have to pay. read more

Just ordered some food there about 15 minutes ago, got a double cheeseburger and was supposed to get a 3pc chicken strip dinner for my wife. The chicken strips looked good in the pic so I upped it to a 5pc, got the food, paid and left. Are a chicken strip on my way home and it wasn't that great after all so I decided I would just give the 4 to my wife and I made up this story about how I got a free chicken strip, awesome husband, blah blah. So I get home, start telling my story and my wife is like "there's only 3 pcs...?" And I'm like "what? No way, I was lying, I ordered a 5 piece and ate one and didn't like it so you should have 4". Nope. Only 3. So that sucked. Also, there's only one onion ring in the meal which is lame, but to be fair, it only shows one The pic as well. The other issue is that the picture and description say it comes with country gravy. Wife asked me where the gravy is, but guess what? There never was any gravy. I was given the extra BBQ and ranch I asked for but didn't get the gravy that is supposed to come with the meal. I've never cared for sonic since the first time I had it about 10 years ago, nothing has changed except now my wife doesn't like sonic anymore either read more

I got my tots! Service was fast, everyone was friendly except the lady who helped us initially gave me a funny look. Maybe I'm reading into it, but maybe not. Anyway, it was everything I generally expect from sonic. Not restaurant quality but a delicious bite - I got the Chicago dog and it was really good. Would recommend this place if you are hungry want something quick that won't disappoint. I also recommend their slushes. The only problem is the parking lot is a little confusing and poorly designed. Getting in/out of there might cause a little bit of a headache. If you go the Aldi way, Look out for grocery shoppers. read more

This time around was a better experience. Our first experience was bad, but I'm guessing it was because it's a new establishment and it was chaotic. We decided to take the actual drive thru. It was a lot faster. I think the text on their menu needs to be bigger, especially the milkshake options. I got the combo #7 and my sweetheart got a combo #3. Food was actually pretty filling. I don't normally eat chilli cheese anything, but I enjoyed it. I got an Oreo cheesecake milkshake and my sweetheart got a chocolate milkshake. It's very thick but yummy. Kinda wish they gave us spoons automatically. I'd definitely come again for a milkshake, since they have so many options. Food-wise, meh. It's a bit pricey for the amount of food you get. I hate writing reviews, but I feel this one is necessary. I love writing good reviews, if the service is outstanding, so I guess it just makes sense to write this review this the service was so bad. So I went to Sonic on June 13th about 9:45 p.m. I pulled up to station #4, push the red button and waited. And waited and waited. When a gentleman pulled up in station #5, got his drink order and left, I thought, "Hey, maybe there is an issue with the button inside, so as soon as he left, I moved to station #5 next door. I pushed the button and waited and waited again. This time at 9:56 p.m. the attendant came on and said, "If you're not from Door Dash or GrubHub, please go to the drive through." I was floored. Here I'm sitting at the Sonic, I've pushed the button and moved once, and now at 9:56 p.m. this attendant tells me that if we're not from DoorDash we need to go to the drive through. I of course drove away. If this is what they call customer service, it's not my kind of place. I've always thought they had decent food and I ate there at least once a week, and usually spent about $20 each time. I don't know about you but if you do the math that's about $1,000 for the year and probably more. Managers wonder why their business stats are down or not jumping into the stratosphere, well all I can tell them as a marketing person who doubles and triples businesses incomes is this. Take care of the people that are already spending money with you. This is a huge disappointment for me, and I am like all the other people that have had a similar incident. I'll not only tell 11 people, I'll tell as many people the Sonic Story. That's what it is going to become and I get in front of thousands of people a year and I like to tell stories, TRUE stories, and Sonic just went to the top of the list. I've tried this location twice now and both times we waited FOREVER to get our food. Our first visit they over charged me and got my order wrong. Our second visit they got our order wrong again. Stopped by yesterday to get a #1 cheeseburger w/fries. Drove off half way I decide to start eating my burger.. surprise: NO CHEESE on it! Turned around went again thru the drive thru.. told I asked for a #1 with cheese the asked back for the burger I had already taken a bite off back. Then they gave me back a semi cold cheeseburger.. cheese COLD and not even melted on my burger. Pretty disappointed. At least give a nice hot cheeseburger with nice melted cheese. I visited this location on February 27th around 8:30 and had an awful experience. I had to repeat my order four times to the lady while going through the drive thru. Then I asked for two separate orders which was correct on screen but when I got up to the window, I reminded her of the two different orders and to charge them separately, she charged both orders on my card! It took about 5 minutes for another employee to figure it out. Then not only did she not give us our order right away she gave me the total for the car behind and I had to tell her that she already charged me! If I could leave this place 0 stars, I definitely would. During my first time here, not only was the service slow, they also got my order wrong--not once, not twice, but THREE times. I finally gave this place a second try and let me tell you, the food was trash and overpriced. I ordered the "spicy" popcorn chicken combo with medium fries. The flavor was bland and tasted burnt as hell. It was literally pure bread crumbs and no meat whatsoever. Not to mention, the portion sizes for the fries are beyond disappointing since the medium size looked more like an extra fucking small. Do not waste your precious money or time going here! Not sure why I have so many problems at all my Sonic experiences. Never used to be this way. I ordered a #5 which is a wrap. I wanted the meal, with a drink up charge. They came out with a chicken sandwich. And my drink. I paid, $14 for $9 food, told them to keep the change, but then told them my order was wrong. They brought the wrap and I said I wanted the meal, they said they're sorry and they'll give me "free fries". If I tell someone to keep the change almost $5 of change, why the heck are my fries "free". The manager didn't seem to care too much, and I don't feel valued. I think I need to stop coming to any sonic in general. AWFUL service. read more

The service in the drive through was very slow. The lady working the drive through was Brenda and she had to ask multiple times what our order was and then did not speak clear at all. She would not listen and would over talk me when I was ordering. I ordered 2 shakes and only got one straw and one spoon and then she closed the drive through window before I could even ask for another one. The worst Sonic in Riverside County. I have had the wrong order on several occasions using drive-thru. I receive the Sonic text specials and went to get a 1/2 priced shake after 8 pm and was told last night they don't honor the texts and the manager wouldn't come speak with me about it. This has never happened at any other Sonic before. I will not return any more. read more
