Went for an ocean water and waited for 15-20 minutes in the drive through. Most people left after waiting ahead of me left the line since of how slow the service was. Cashier was nice and respectful. My drink was made to perfect as ordered. read more

Sonic Drive-In - Burgers Near Me - Los Lunas, New Mexico

What the hell happened to Sonic? In the past 5 years I have not been to one that didn't get ZERO stars. But I thought... small town... maybe? Nope. Waiting 3 full minutes for an answer to the red button. Of course the screen was dead so no idea if it was even working. Finally ordered a cherry limeade. Simple enough. Throw some ice in a cup, squeeze a couple of limes, fill it up, walk it out. TWENTY MINUTES later (I really wanted that cherry limeade) and I gave up and left. Went to Starbucks, ordered an iced tea and had it in my mouth withing 90 SECONDS. So sad to see what this once great drive in has become. No wonder they are bulldozing another one weekly. RIP. read more

Wow I never could imagine a food establishment could be so bad! Zero stars! We ordered a corn dog plain with a side of ched'r'pepers. Arrived to the window and paid. We were given a chili dog with a side of jalapeños. Told them the order was wrong and they took the correct order and wanted to charge for the correct order too. Waited 10 min and received ched'rpepers and return the money. No corn dog for us. Waste of time, skip this establishment!! Total time spent for no corn dog was over 25 min. What an epic fail. read more

I ordered a sonic double cheeseburger and a sonic cheeseburger told them mustard on both with no onions on both. They did not put mustard on either and put onions on both. They tasted like they were pre made and were both cold by the time I got home. They did not offer a receipt. The burgers were the driest I have ever had from a sonic. Not Fresh at all. I would recommend going to the sonic on east side of Los Lunas. Worst experience we have ever had at a sonic. read more

this sucjs bruh. i called in a to~go order for a damn grilled cheese and burger. i get here and they just get done with it 40 minutes later!! the cooks arent even cooking like u can see half of them eating and not doing any work, had to go to the drive in cuz nobody was going to the kiosks and my grilled cheese was TINY and the burger was WET. and tiny it was gross DO NOT get food from here the coocks werent even washing their hands there is 2people working hete bruh read more

Consistently terrible for years. The staff is rude and makes you feel like an inconvenience. The food is always poor quality and massively overpriced for what you get. Service is incredibly slow--it took over 10 minutes for two ice cream treats in the drive-thru. They also upsized our order without asking and charged us for the largest size. This location needs new management or to be shut down. Go anywhere else. read more

First off took 30 minutes to get order and to only get a incorrect COLD order. Went up to the glass door to let them I'm missing food and they just stared at me for 5 minutes not coming out to check, all while I was holding my receipt. Proceeded to leave and found all food was cold and still not even the correct food. They seem to do this every time and are honestly just lazy when it comes to their service read more

Absolutely not! I don't know if they have a new manager, but the last few years have been horrendous. I will avoid this place like the plague. Your order is always wrong and none of the food is fresh and hot. How are the fries and onion rings always cold? I wonder if they leave them sitting out of the warmer. They take forever if you order any drinks, the cups are always sticky. DO NOT order on the mobile app, they TAKE FOREVER and have forgotten me when you park in a stall. Just drive through the drive thru to get your mobile order. I wanted to make a complaint once to the manager and she rolled her eyes and said they are busy and she didn't have time to hear anything. WHAT A MESS. Avoid avoid avoid. read more

Not surprised this sonic has a rating of 1.5 we just pulled up to a kiosk pushed the button to order and waited 15 mins to get a response back to take our order and nothing, no one ever answered so we pulled out and left. read more

My boys and I were hungry and Sonic just sounded like the perfect spot and it did not disappoint. We ordered and got our food pretty quick and the servers were very nice and I love the drinks. read more

We got our food. They came out quick. The tater tots were cold. I've gone here a few times cuz I actually like Sonic but I would rather drive a little further to the next town over just to get better quality. My son had a kid's cheeseburger with mustard and mayo and they drenched it. It looks like the burger was smothered when we took it out. My burger was cold. The last time I came they said they had no drinks and no ice cream available. On top of that they always seem to close early. read more

Always understaffed. Most of the time you can't order in the stalls or online. Today their credit card machine wasn't working so they were only accepting cash. I ordered a blast and they didn't fill it up all the way. Once I cleared all the air bubbles it was literally only filled up halfway. Our Sonic has become super unreliable. read more

I order on line. when I got there, I told them my order number and name. They sent out a young man out who said they couldn't hear because it rained. I told him the number and my name. He asked, " what was that number again and laughed. I said Do I have to write it down for you. He said yeah, that would help. I told him to get someone that's not on drugs. A woman came out defending him. Before I went to Sonic I was in a good mood...not anymore. read more

Don't even bother. The hours are unpredictable. I sat on line for 15 minutes, the car ahead of me had their order taken and when I pulled up to order I was told they were closed. It was 9:22 pm. Hours are until 10pm??? They never have ice cream, always out of things, order is correct maybe 50% of the time. Food is mediocre at best. I used to keep trying, but I am done. Will not return ever again. I drive the extra to the Sonic in Bosque Farms. Bosque Sonic always has great service and good food. read more

For the price you pay for food, it shouldn't be over cooked. Why are the tots rock hard? It even bent the fork.

The lady who took are order was rude. we got to the window and the workers were in the back laughing and eating food after had already been waiting in line for over 20 minutes read more

The ratings at Sonic have dropped so much and the service is questionable I am not up to the disappointment. Hope things improve I use to stop by. read more

Worst sonic in New Mexico I've got better service at sonic on Central near war zone. Every time I try to give it another chance I leave with disappointment. Took five minutes to take my order ( 1 large drink) at intercom, only one car in front of me, after placing order I waited 15 minutes before driving off empty handed. Btw the stalls were nearly empty. POS management and this place doesn't even deserve the one star that is required to post this review. read more

If I could leave no stars I would. We were told the park ins were closed and to get in line at the drive thru. We got in line at the drive thru and waited 20 minutes, all to be told the entire Sonic was then closed. Awful service read more

My Other Half & I Decided To Finally Try Out The Drive-In & It Was A Very POOR Experience. 30 Minutes Of Continuously Pressing The Red Button To Order Mind You We Weren't The Only One, So Decided To Go Through The Drive Through Instead Once We Got To The Window I Asked One Of The Girl Workers If The # Stall Was Down Her Only Response Was ( I Don't Know), Which Is Unexceptionable. 2 Other Vehicles Pulled Into The Drive In & Got Their Order. One Of The Vehicle That Got There When We Did Was Still Waiting To Get Their Order Taken. With The Whole Pandemic/Short Staff Excuse's If You Can't Handle Both Drive Through/Drive In Shut Down The Drive In. read more

I am taking the time to tell you all this sonic sucks. We waited 15mins in drive thru. Got to order speaker and employee said drive thru was now closed and to park in stall. So we did, the found a large sign that said stall is closed, use drive thru. WHaT crack is that! What a waste of time and effort. Please go anywhere but here until they get new mgmt. read more

This sonic really needs to step up their game! I ordered a tea with mango & peach syrup & a blast on the app for ASAP.....Got there and waited at least 15 mins if not longer. Then my tea has no ice & no syrup added then got some excuse for not being able to refund me. I had to come back & get a free drink later but they barely put any syrup in there & only put mango & no peach. Not sure what is going.on there. read more

The service at this Sonic, is horrid. I sat here for 20 minutes waiting for somebody to respond to our order, nobody responded in the 20 minutes that we sat there while we could obviously see that people were available and we watched cars who got there later than us were served before we even got to order. read more

I wish I could post a pic of the burger I got. double meat burger. I'm not even sure it's beef. couldn't bite into it the meat was hard as a hockey puck. the meat is thin and about the size of quarter. it looks as if someone took a meat tenderizer hammer to iy and then burned it. The bun appears to be days old. The other two burgers we ordered look like normal burgers. chili cheese fries were sad as well. I think there's maybe a teaspoon of chili and a teaspoon of cheese. My sweet kid split her burger with me so I would have some dinner. I hope someone from Sonic can explain this. I'm tempted to contact the health department. The meat is downright scary looking. read more

I waited for ten minutes before anyone responded to order. Then when I arrived at the drive up window, the cashier was sloppily eating a shake licking the ice cream off of the spoon and dropping it all over the counter. The other individual was on his cell phone and I just sat there at the window. I finally left because that is unsanitary and disgusting. I don't want someone handling my food when they have been eating themselves or on their personal cell phone without washing their hands. read more

We went just to be told you have to go threw over 20 Minutes just to be IGNORED! The staff was Rude!

Words cannot express my disdain for this location. Over 20 visits and they have yet to get my order correct EVEN ONCE. For a time I boycotted this location and still prefer to drive to Bosque Farms if I really want Sonic. The servers here are rude and act like you are not worth their time. We even encountered a situation where the server told us it was not their job to stir the drinks. I love Sonic Drive Ins but I would rather drink from my dogs water bowl than give my hard earned money to this sorry excuse for an establishment. Seriously I will drive 5 miles in the opposite direction to visit the well-managed Sonic in Bosque Farms. read more

30 min wait and still counting for 4 shakes! This is ridiculous. This sonic is so slow weather they are busy or not. They take for ever to get the orders out. read more

Although the place was kind of busy we waited almost 30 minutes for a shake. Almost like they forgot, would not come here again especially if it's busy. read more

Just had the worst experience at this location. Me and my fiancée went to have a date night, ordered 2 milkshakes. While we were waiting. There were very unruly teenagers cursing, running through the stalls, talking and cussing very loudly, ruining our time there. We proceeded to leave because of all the commotion, called the manager Steve who got very rude and disrespectful to my wife when she called him at the Sonic to voice her concerns. I returned to speak to the manager who defended the obnoxious crowd and even threatened to call the police on me and when these same obnoxious kids approached me to fight me the manager Steve Sisneros did absolutely nothing and actually called them by name, so it was my guess that they were his friends and they were not paying customers they were just hanging around. So now I have to beware when I go there, because of the piss poor management who thinks it's ok to have his friends hang in the lot disturbing other paying customers. Guess that's why everyone was leaving while we were waiting that we're in the stalls as welI. Definitely will be calling corporate in the morning. Oh and let me not forget to mention that the obnoxious group proceeded to follow me home, and of course the manager did nothing at all.But I was prepared. read more

Terrible. We won't be back. It took 25 minutes to receive our food. In that time, our sandwiches were delivered cold and the milkshakes were melted. read more

I stopped going here over a year ago due to slow service and general unreliability. My wife suggested we get shakes today since they are half off. She ordered on the app. I arrive 10 mins later. App doesn't have check in option. Try using the call button. Wait 10 minutes. No reply. Note there's not one car in my entire row. I back out and loop around to get in line. Takes 5 mins for one car to get through. While waiting I notice a car who sat in a stall waiting for service since before I got here back out and leave. Another 3 mins for the next car to move. 2 mins for the next car. We are making progress. 4 mins for the next car. Never mind. Two cars back gets out of line and leaves. 4 mins later I'm up. Tell the man on the dealio and he tells me to pull forward. Two minutes later a guy runs out to hand me my shakes. Needless to say if my wife suggest we get shakes here again, I'll just show her this review. Funny thing is, my friend told me going to the sonic further away is faster. He may be right... read more

I pulled into the parking lot at 9:20 and they had everything shut down, please update closing time.

I waited for my online order for over an hour and it was just 3 drinks tried calling to just cancel and get a refund they hung up on me. And I was about to leave because there was an entire line behind me at the drive through because the stalls were closed when they finally answered and when I told them then they came outside to get my name again then I waited another 30 minutes for them to bring out my drinks read more

Waited in the drive through for over 20 min because no one would take my order. And apparently this location doesn't serve shakes.

Horrible!!! I ordered (3) drinks on the app, checked in, waited 20 minutes for my drinks, which didn't come out. I called for assistance on the intercom and was told my drinks would be out, waited another 15 minutes, and finally went in. Once inside, I found that my drinks hadn't even been made. After 45 minutes, I finally received my drinks, with no apology!!! This is the first and last time ever stopping at this horrible Sonic location. read more

This place sucks so bad. If I could give it 0 stars I would. The food was cold and I had to wait for half hour to even get it

Its a sonic. Not much to say about it. Its a place to meet up with some friends and hangout. They got drinks that you could make as wierd as you want. The service is about as average as you can get.
