we went to sonic for a midnight snack with the fam. it was so bad. it took 3 hours to take get my food. mind you we have two 1 year olds and they wanted a slushy but they couldn't have it bc it was 3 am. when we got our food i ordered a burger. it was horse meat. i am allergic to horses and the meat of them. it was very dangerous and disturbing. i had to go to the er. my insurance did not cover it. when the rest of the fam got there food my one 1 year old got a strawberry slush and it was 1/3 full. same with my other 1 year old except she ordered a mango slush. the wifi was also terrible . me and the fam couldn't watch super kitty. we love that tv show it's the fams fav. when the roller skating delivery person came she opened the lid and pored out the slushy in the car on my lap and my 2 one year olds. it got all over my birkin bag. it was 30,000 bills. i worked really hard to earn that chick ching to get my bing. my fam was really distressed and disappointed. we and the fam will come back for another midnight snack. read more

Came on a Tuesday and got popcorn chicken to eat and a ocean water to drink. Only problem was that they gave me one barbecue sauce and that was not enough for all the chicken. After sitting at the speaker for 25 minutes after ordering, I went inside and they dug through the trash to find my receipt. I declined their offer to make the food and asked for the drinks and a refund. The STORE OWNER informed me that it wasn't his fault, refused to give me any compensation for the inconvenience, and COMPLAINED about having to void the credit card transaction. I used to like this Sonic location located on South Broadway. Not so much anymore. I ordered 2 breakfast burritos. Asked to substitute tomatoes and lettuce for the cheese. Ok. Asked to include salsa. I was reprimanded. I was told the salsa always comes with these burritos. Hmm. Received my order and went home. Found there was no salsa. No salt. No napkins. Not happy customer. I'm gonna be honest, this Sonic is SO Good!!! I first ordered a double smasherburger with fries, then a Oreo Blast. The service was good. No problems at all. It was only a 5 minute wait. My family was with me, and they all seemed to like what they ate. Never had either of the items I ordered, and they were so good! Great experience. This sonic always has issues. They are never taking mobile orders which means you can't use the deals that are offered and the drive thru is a whole other story. I stopped in on my way to work because I was absolutely starving. I was there around 10 am and it was quiet. The lady at the register was friendly and patient while I decided what I wanted. I ended up with a cheeseburger and a cherry limeade. The cheeseburger was not greasy at all and came out piping hot . I have to say it was really good. The cherry limeade was good as well. I didn't even wait five minutes for my burger &drink. This sonic location has covered outdoor seating and additional seating where you're exposed to the elements . They also have an inside dining area . Both the indoor seating &outdoor area were clean . As a matter of fact when I walked in another girl was cleaning the tables. It is a lot of grease and it's just either not cooked right or it's burnt. it's just not my favorite thing about sonic!! Reason for less stars is all the drive in areas were coned off and their lobby was closed even though it said they were open online. We didn't know what we wanted so we wanted the convenience of being able to take our time and read a menu without holding others up, but had to rush in the drive through line instead. Placed an order through the website, pulled into a stall and pressed the button, gave them the name like it said. The worker told us it would be out soon. After waiting for 20 minutes and pressing the button again, got snipped at by a worker who assumed we had done something wrong. They didn't even remember that we were there, it seems their solution was to ignore us and pretend like we left. Eventually a worker came out, still snippy and claimed they were unable to make orders that weren't made on the app. Finally got our food after 30 minutes thanks to a manager getting involved. I haven't had the food at this Sonic, and, god willing, I won't have the food at any Sonic. The drinks are where it's at for sonic, especially for their happy hour deals. I've had the strawberry cheesecake and Oreo chocolate shakes at this location and they've both been excellent. Where else can you go besides sliders after midnight??? It was a must after the concert! I like that they have such a wide range on their menu and their prices are not insane! The master shakes are absolutely amazing. My personal favorite is the Oreo cheesecake. It's a super creamy drink that is quite a bit thicker than a normal milkshake. The strawberry cheesecake is also delicious. I can't comment on the quality of the non dessert items because Sonic's food is not to my taste usually. Sonic used to be that late night "I've had a little too much wine, I need a 6 piece cheese sticks" kind of place. Now they've opened it up to almost a diner like atmosphere. The meal was pleasant and the staff is friendly. Mostly seemed like it was their first job but they were doing a great job. Very attentive. You still order your food from overhead the counter but they bring your food and drinks to you. They also had half off waffle cones.
