I love Sonic! This particular visit was mediocre, but I think for the most part Sonic is pretty good. The prices are higher than a McDonalds, but so is the quality. The drinks are one of the best things. I love the Cherry Limeades. Most Sonics offer "Happy Hours" w/ discounted beverage rates. I have many fond memories eating at Sonic w/ my grandparents many yrs ago. Give good old Sonic a try! read more

Okay now that I see the 2.5 star rating it all makes sense. The "B" team definitely works at this spot! Place was dead and the food took forever. We finally get our food and it's barely warm. No napkins in any of the bags so we push the button and ask for some...10 minutes pass and nothing (place is still dead)...push the button again and some mouth breather finally brings some napkins out. Was treated with what can only be described as disdain from the person over the intercom. I went to order two simple burgers, no cheese or pickles. The young man messed up not once, not twice but three times by taking off first the cheese from one of the two but not the other. I mentioned it to him and he proceeded to try to change it but the second try, he forgot the pickles (remember, I asked for no pickles on either). I mentioned the mistake and he became a bit testy but tried again. For the 3rd time he messed up by leaving the cheese on one. When I had the gaul to mention it, he got testy again and said that 'that is what you ordered the first time'. I said no it isn't, good bye. and left. I got fed up and moved to another pull-in, pushed the button and got a response almost immediatley. Maybe there was something wrong with the last one. Maybe they could have come out and told me? I came here to this location for lunch. I arrived at 12:03 and was pulling away at 12:14. The car hops were working very quickly during this rush time. Not just one or two but every single one of them was hurrying back to the building to grab another order. Each of them had a smile on their face and the car hop that came to my window was very polite and courteous. I only had to give my order once and the person taking my order was quite responsive to any questions I had. I received my order with no mistakes and was able to beat the traffic back into post. read more

This evening I had a late night craving for some of Sonic's mozzarella sticks because they are my fiancé and I's favorite. I was afraid it may have been too late so I looked and whoever is in charge of making business hours known had it written "closed at 12 a.m. tonight". Which, it closed at 11 p.m. and left us completely disappointed. I'm not complaining about the food, just the fact that I was given false information considering opened hours. I'd just like to see it get fixed before someone else wastes unnecessary time and gas in their vehicles, just to get told they're closed in person after reading differently when looking for places still open. read more

I came to this sonic about 8:45 at night. There were a lot of cars there for a Sunday night so they appeared to be busy. I pulled up to the first stall and pressed the button but it didn't light up. I could see about 4 or 5 people inside moving around talking but no one ever answered. I waited about 5 minutes. I then pulled into another stall, pressed the button and this time it lit up. There were two cars on either side of me also waiting to order. After sitting for about 3 minutes they answered the person to the left of me and said to give them a minute. I said hello a few times but they never answered. I understand you're busy but have the decency to at least say can you please give me a minute. Especially since all I wanted was a drink. Today I sent an employee to this sonic to get all of us in the shop lunch. They shorted him 2 chili dogs. That was one of my guys lunch, and when he went back they refused to give him the 2 chili dogs because he didn't bring everyone else's food back with him! Orders are always messed up, been overcharged in the past and most likely was on my recent visit, since they wouldn't give me an itemized receipt. It doesn't matter how busy or not busy they are or even how clearly I make the order, they find some way to mess it up. The card payment slots never seem to be working either. Sheridan Rd. location is not much better. Seems we have to go out of our way to visit a Sonic that actually takes pride in their performance. read more
