I was a bit disappointed with my experience at this Sonic location. My mom, grandmothers and I had a fairly simple order. We wanted 4 drinks, 3 of them were the same (lemon berry cream slush) the cream slushes are known to be mixed with ice cream into a milkshake of sorts. As I put in my order- I saw that the drinks were entered incorrectly, so I let the lady know that and repeated my correct order and then we paid. When the young lady brought the drinks out, she handed me 6 drinks total...and we politely let her know that wasn't what we ordered. She was apologetic and went inside to fix our order. While she did that, we called back inside for some napkins and mustard for my mom's corn dog. When she came back out she gave us change for the difference and we gave her a tip. My real dissatisfaction came from the fact that instead of lemon berry cream slushes with ice cream...they put coffee creamer in lemon slushy with some strawberry chunks...when I called to ask if we can have it corrected she told me they no longer use ice cream for cream blended slushes....so y'all use coffee creamer??? ....I was like what??? I said ok but best believe they will get a less than favorable review because why would a place famous for slushes and milkshakes stop making shakes with ice cream? I feel lied to and will no longer spend money at this Sonic location. Bummer. read more

I'd advise others to stop at a different location. Poor service and customer service at this location. Ordered the new dill smash burger. The chips on the sandwich were VERY stale & cold. I asked for fresher ones and I was informed by an employee (glasses, wearing a black collared shirt) that "all of them will taste like that, that's just how they taste" , when I know for a fact that the location in Gonzales has hot, fresh, & crunchy chips on theirs (ordered the same burger 3 different times in Gonzales), but this location in Laplace is serving old and stale ones. I also received 14 grillo pickle seasoned tots for $4.29. The picture I posted does not show $4.29 worth of tots, when a plain large tot is $3.99. The boat isn't filled up. This was a $20 ticket that truly wasn't worth $20 at all & this will most likely be my last time visiting this particular location. I'd also advise management to take a look at footage on 7/21 at 7pm-8pm, the staff seems to have no structure and a lot of playing going on inside & outside of the building. I'm always trying to give a place a second, third chance . Just ordered a butterfinger sonic blast and ask for extra butterfinger but I just got a scoop of butterfinger on top . Went to Sonic yesterday to get a ice cream cone I noticed that one of the servers, a bearded guy was not wearing a mask. Here he is handling the Public food and refusing to wear a mask. That is just unfair to those of us who want to control the spread of COVID-19. What amazes me is that management who's ever in charge when he's working does not make him wear the proper mask. I will not purchase any food from Sonic until all of their employees wear the proper PPE in order to serve the community. And I asked whoever reads this review to consider what I have to say and not purchase any food from Sonic until management makes their server and food handlers wear mask. People like that believe they're smarter than everybody else and all the healthcare professional wrong and they know what is right. Shame on you Sonic. read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would for the absolutely disgusting, practically nonexistent service this Sonic has. I know that when you order at Sonic, sometimes it takes a few minutes for them to answer you/get your order out. However, I came to this location. They close at 11. I pulled up at 10:30, press the red button to order almost immediately because I know what the person with me and I are going with are going to get. Anyway, the message that they'll be right with me to take my order appears immediately and I have an expected wait. So I keep waiting...I press the button once more just Incase about 10 minutes later. Still no answer. They finally say something at 10:53: "we're closed." I find this to be such poor service because I waited for over 20 minutes and they didn't answer, when they do, before closing, they didn't even try to serve us, in addition to the attitude. Also, there were multiple empty cars parked in the drive in windows. We saw several sonic employees go from the restaurant, into their cars around 10:50...I highly doubt a shift ends when there's 10 minutes until close. Horrible service here. Waited 30 minutes no one took our our and eventually decided to leave. Saw a girl taking an order by one vehicle, she walked past out car twice and never acknowledged that we were there. Not sure what was going on or what was happening. I saw 9 vehicles pull-up and the. Leave within 10 minutes bc no one took their order. When we left there was not that many cars, 4 people working. In that time, only two people were served food. I understand everyone is understaffed right now, but customer service needs to be better. At least acknowledge the customer there is a problem or say something. read more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. I have not had a good experience at Sonic in ages. Every time I go, it takes forever for them to even take my order. Then I wait forever to receive my order. That could be due to the fact that a lot of the workers sit outside and talk to their friends. When I finally receive my food, I am thoroughly unsatisfied. The tater tots are oil-logged, fries are flavorless, burgers taste like rubber, and milkshakes are not well blended so you taste powder in it. To top it all off, the staff is not even polite. read more
