I had a cheeseburger and I was in heaven. Fresh meat melted American cheese, mustard for me, plus onions, lettuce, tomato and pickles. Fresh bun, my oh, my. Fries were probably frozen, but the burger more than made for that fact and I ate them all. Spousal unit had the fish dinner with salad bar. Yes, a great salad bar! He said the fruit was obviously fresh as it had flavor. The fish he said was delicious and wondered if it was fresh as well. He got mashed potatoes and green beans as his side. Iced tea was brewed not instant. They are open from 5:30am - 8pm. I highly recommend this place. Clean, well-staffed with friendly people and good cooks. Tucked into the old-fashioned town square in HoneyGrove, TX, we found DK Burgers. We walked in to find a very long lunch counter wrapped around an open kitchen. Drink choices included bottled water, Coke Zero (plastic 16.9 oz bottles), iced tea, and various soda flavors in glass bottles. The menu so far (I believe they just opened in 2025) is basically burgers and hand-cut home fries, all made exactly how you specify. We ordered a basic cheeseburger and a bacon burger ( the bacon was candied jalapeño), plus fries. We added what appeared to be homemade ranch dipping sauce for the fries upon the Staff's recommendation. Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly! Looking forward to returning! It is lovely that Honey Grove has hung on to their town square and working hard to welcome new businesses! The town square is next to the Library, Police Station, and Post Office. There are a smattering of businesses, including an old school hardware store/ feed store, antique stores, and a charming Mexican grocery, Fresh Produce & More. There aren't a lot of opportunities out here and people work very, very hard.
