The interior is modestly decorated and clean. Not knowing if we should wait for a table to be cleaned or go to the counter, we went to the counter. The nice lady there smiled, welcomed us and asked if we wanted a to go order. We told her we would dine there and she said go get a table and we'll wait on you. Hubs got a table while she explained the lunch special to me. Lunch special options were fried catfish, grilled ham and roast beef with gravy. They were out of the roast beef and gravy, stewed potatoes and field peas and snaps. Other vegetables were pinto beans, collard greens, green beans, slaw, potato salad, macaroni salad, white corn and diced peaches. The lunch special was a meat, 3 veggies, dessert and a drink. Dessert was out so we were given a choice of another vegetable or diced peaches. Both of us got 4 vegetables. Our foods were delivered to our table and they were excellent. There was so much food we weren't able to make a huge dent so we asked for to go boxes. Lunch specials on Sunday are $11. Awesome foods for a fair price. The fried catfish according to my husband was delicious and perfectly cooked. The collard greens they serve are the best we have had in north Alabama.
