How many bad reviews does it take for the owner and/or management to fix things up. I ordered on the app about 5-10 minutes before I got there to check in. Checked in and waited 20 minutes hoping a car hop would slow down long enough for me to get their attention and tell them how long I've been waiting. No such luck. I finally called the store and explained how long I've been waiting. My order had gone through but my food had just been sitting on the counter. They did give me fresh fries and a coupon for a free burger. Came back 3 days later to order a burger for my daughter. (I live in the area) and the first screen doesn't work. Got done working in Harriman and saw an old friendly favorite (Sonic) and looked like something decent to get a meal at even though fast food is always a bad idea.... I ordered a double Sonic Smashburger, cherry limeade, and some fries. Mind you I don't normally eat fast food, but have eaten here before and been quite happy. So when the food came out I took a big swig of that limeade and it tasted like I just drank a bunch of pool water. It was absolutely FULL of chlorine/bleach. Absolutely disgusting and I know for sure. I'm gonna shit my pants later tonight. The fries were the most stale fries I've ever eaten. I had one and threw them away. I threw the drink away. The Smashburger was decent. Really disappointed and will probably not ever eat at Sonic again unless I get smashed on the head and forget that I feel like I'm gonna die after drinking some of that drink. This sonic is right off of the 27 highway or Roane street. It's definitely convenient. We came here once after a golf game around the area with our cousin and family after a stay. My husband had a burger and fries and a shake here. I had some fries and the shake. I don't eat burgers but their fries and shakes aren't bad at all. read more

For context, I'm in from Texas for a funeral and staying at an air bnb with no groceries yet. Haven't eaten in 14 hours. Hands down worst experience I've ever had at any type of restaurant. Ordered, she didn't put it in. I clicked the button to let her know and repeated my order thinking okay, it's put in.. ten minutes later they bring me just my drink. No food. She takes my order in person. 10 more min. Go by and they call me to ask me my order again... I tell them. Thinking, surely this is priority. Another 10 minutes. In total I spent 45 minutes waiting. I was starving but almost willing to leave before they ever brought my food that I paid for already. I take my chances. When I got my food, it was incorrect. Fries instead of tater tots and none of the sauces I ordered but I'm emotionally exhausted and being dramatic just wasn't worth the effort. Hope this gets better. I understand places being understaffed here recently. I work in an understaffed restaurant. But this place gets worse and worse. I went a few days ago and it took 45 minutes just for a thing of cheese sticks. And there were only 4 cars there! I pressed the button to see what was up. Very slow!!! 3 cars in the lot. We were the first. Ordered two shakes! Sat for 20 minutes! The car next to us just left. Hahaha. This is absolutely ridiculous.
