Mamoo's Creamery is serving up some seriously delicious ice cream for the people of Hot Springs! It…read morewas so good, I had to go back and take a photo with the owner. The owner and his partner make all the ice cream themselves, it's the real deal. I had a scoop of the strawberry on a waffle cone (also made on site), and couldn't hold a conversation until I was done inhaling the entire scoop. It was so delicious, with a great rich texture and amazing flavor. My friend had vanilla and said the same. Mamoo is changing the ice cream game for this town! They've got roughly 18(?) flavors to choose from, and really you can't go wrong. The owner is so nice, and happy to help you narrow down choices so that you get the perfect scoop. The shop is located slightly below street level. It's a little hard to find because you have to go through a small lobby first, then another set of doors to the right. But trust me, it's well worth the search. Definitely the best ice cream in town!

A nice front desk employee at The Arlington showed us the beautiful staircase leading down. When we got there, I honestly thought it was closed because of the low lighting and how unclean it was. A friendly young female employee quickly greeted us, only to inform us they didn't have this, didn't have that. It sure didn't seem like it was because there was such a crowd because we were the only humans present! This place boasts "the only homemade ice cream on bath house row." I sampled the Black Walnut and was not impressed. My root beer float ($7) was fine. My oldest daughter didn't really care for her Coke float ($7). I guess it's because she had her heart set on Dr. Pepper that they didn't have. My youngest had a single cup ($5) of Birthday Cake. She enjoyed it. I'd probably go elsewhere for ice cream in Hot Springs, AR, next time. RATING BREAKDOWN Ice Cream: 3 | Service: 4 | Ambiance: 2 | Price: 2

The food was delicious and served hot and fresh. The prices were amazing for the food. Me and my wife both got the Friday special: 2 enchiladas with rice and beans. I got cheese and she got the beef in flour tortillas. Man, it was good! We are from Murfreesboro, TN, and if we ever return, we will definitely return to Telingas!

We were here on a Friday after a morning of rock-washing at Crater of Diamonds and needed a reprieve from the brutal heat. I had the Ranchero Special with chicken and my dining companion had 3 street tacos - Al Pastor and carne asada. First, the staff were gracious and efficient. Our server was particularly attentive while not being intrusive. The decor might seem gaudy, but I've seen similar at other Mexican restaurants with excellent food. It was a nice change of atmosphere after having spent a couple hours in gray, dust-brown troughs of mud and gravel, shoveling piles of rocks into a bucket to be washed in a vat of murky gritty water. Some reviewers have said the salsa was just plain tomatoey, but I really liked it -- it had some light heat and is similar to what I've had at many Arizona Sonoran-style Mexican restaurants. Maybe those reviewers were expecting jars of Chi Chi's or Pace-not-"made in New York City!?"-Picante. The Ranchero Special was fine. The flavor profile was a little one dimensional, particularly with their white queso on it. The sliced tomatoes added a bit of acidic balance to that. My dining companion said her corn tortilla street tacos were pretty tasty. The pork in the al pastor had a little fat in it, but there were also a few good chunks of sautéed pineapple there. We also had a limonado drink which was very refreshing and delicious. Overall, a good place to have a meal if you're in Murfreesboro, AR and have nowhere else to go.
