(9/12/23) Approx. 8:47-8:48pm I had placed an online order right after getting out of my late night class and made my way across town to the location. Once I checked into the stall, my order was out in like a minute! Super fast service! I know I ordered ahead but, I mean, I ordered ahead at a Sonic down in Loveland and waited probably close to half an hour for my meal so, this is absolutely an upgrade lol. I had the absolute delight of having Christian be my carhop this evening. He was quick, efficient, professional, and very kind and friendly. He introduced himself, went over all the details of the meal, and handed it over. I've had a long day today, so it was unbelievably comforting and nice to be met with such a kind smile and upbeat aura. Definitely an employee to learn from and look up to - he seems like such a great guy! Furthermore, this is my second time at this location, and it does not disappoint. Speedy and efficient service & super awesome and kind employees - my first time there, my carhop was this super cool girl who I unfortunately cannot remember her name but she had sweet pins on her hat, long dark hair, and like silver crescent earrings on that day. She was dope. If any Sonic employee reads these, and specifically this review, please give these employees that I mentioned my regards! I would give it negative stars if I could. twice now we have tried to get a Sonic blast only to be told "the machine is broken"..and it has been for over a month now. so since we drove several miles from home to get a treat, we ordered a shake. interesting that the shakes are more expensive than the blasts. great way to make money if you ask me. so we get a shake..not more than one block down the street I noticed the cup was cracked and most of my shake was in my lap. extremely disappointing. will not recommend this place nor will we be visiting again. read more

Hilarious! These folks, like everyone, have raised their prices and made their quantities smaller. Used to that. But I ordered a burrito this morning and took a bite out of it, totally wrong order, let them know , they said they'd bring me the correct one,... The kids/servers working there are so sweet and polite and I would LOVE to be able to leave them tips like I used to (when I could pay) but recently when I go, the screens are down so we can't run our cards. I will admit we were Very flustered when placing our order, however these kind workers put up with us. we were nervous to see what kind of carhop we were gonna get, and we were very hopeful to get one who wouldn't judge us for our strange eating habits consisting of ocean water and mozzarella sticks. Thankfully our prayers were answered and we crossed paths with Evan. He is without a doubt one for the most efficient, wholesome and good-looking workers we have ever met. I never really went to Sonic until I met my partner Steven. It just wasn't a priority. But when I did meet him I did go to Sonic some and it was more or less alright. It's fast food so enough said there... Just the other day we were biking around town and did the drive up thing at this Sonic off of Timberline. Drive-up Fort Collins style anyway, everybody loves their bikes in this town, especially during the warmer months. We went ahead and ordered. We wanted a salad since we had a good fitness theme going for that day but were denied. They said they ran out of salads. Wow. They must be THAT good there or not all THAT resourceful in staying stocked. We went ahead with a chicken wrap to share which was decent but nothing that would really pass as being all that good... just fair. Again fast food. Some people behind us were also upset at their outside table as well. A lady went in and wanted more barbecue sauce but she had to verbally ask for it because apparently all that the counter staff did was stare at her. She was very frustrated. The place is more or less run by cocky high school kids. No one really had a bad attitude that we encountered that worked there but you could just tell that it didn't take much for that to happen if a customer gave the wrong employee a lot of flack for something. I went to the High School next door so we used to come here all the time instead of CrapDonalds, and it was always decent. The best thing this location has going is the friendly staff. Always seem to be happy and have good energy. They don't have a drive-thru, which is very very weird, so you have to do the car-hop thing. They do have more car spots than most other locations so that makes up capacity lost in the drive-thru, but it means you will wait longer in your car spot for your order to be taken as well as your food to be sent out. Also you can't access the entrance if you're going EB on Horsetooth - you have to pull a U-turn down the road. read more

I have been a loyal customer since the 80s. Sadly, Sonic no longer seems to care about it's customers. Beginning last year, I had issues that the app would say my local Sonic was closed when it was open. I couldn't use the money on my Sonic card, since I don't have a physical one, it is on my app. I couldn't get the rewards or perks from my app since it said that location was closed when it wasn't. The employee wouldn't give me the perk, it was for use on the app only. I told them the app said they were closed. I was told there was nothing he could do. I asked for no whip cream on my husband's shake, the order taker, screen and receipt confirmed it. The shake had whipped cream when it arrived. I asked for a supervisor to call me. I received a voicemail almost a month later. I called back 3 times but never received a return call. It is now May 2019. Tonight again I couldn't order with the app. The actual hours this location is open is still wrong. So again I did not get the rewards I had since I couldn't use the app. Then, two items I ordered were wrong. Whipped cream was added to a shake I ordered without it. It said it on the ticket but was made with it anyway. I asked for onions on my chili cheese tots. No onion were on them, though it said so on the ticket. I have had it! read more

This location is super slow and gets the orders wrong more often than they get it right. Just came home with the wrong flavor master blast tonight. They were fast, but my onion rings spelled and tasted like fried in oil and greasy and tasted like it was re-fried again to get it warm .... like old cardboard. What a disappointment. I typically love sonic, but I won't be back to this sonic again. It's a fast food place, so I don't expect perfection, but they should at least get your order right on the second try. I ordered a few drinks to take to some family members as a fun treat while they were working. When I brought them their drinks, they were just very bitter soda water. I called and told the manager, John, who was very nice. He checked their simple syrup and realized it was a bottle of citrus flavoring they add to a few of their drinks, and that it would definitely mess up the drinks I ordered. He apologized and told me to come back and get new drinks on him when I'd like. I went back several hours later to get drinks and bring them back to my family to make up for the bad drink earlier but it was the same bitter soda water. I called the manager, this time it was Kevin. I told him what had happened and he told me I must have ordered the wrong drink. I asked why an orange sweet cream soda would taste like bitter soda water today but the other ten times I've ordered it, it tasted like a orange sweet cream soda. He seemed to think it was my fault and that nothing needed to be done on his part. After driving out of my way the second time and it not being right, I didn't want anything from them because I wasn't going out of my way again, but I thought they should know so they could fix the problem for anyone else who orders a drink needing that flavor syrup. Typically I come here and I don't have any issues. I get what I expect out of a fast food restaurant. Typically these places stay open until stated on their website or door, but I showed up today and they were closed 30 minutes early. They are supposed to close at 11 but decided they were done at 10:30 I guess. I went up to the door and tried to pull it open, but it was locked and the workers just kind of ignored the fact that I was there. I know I shouldn't complain about not getting my shake because it's really not that big of a deal. I was just mad at the fact that they decided to be closed at 10:30 rather than 11:00 because they felt like it. I think it's funny that people want more than minimum wage for these type of jobs when they pull crap like this. read more
