Oatmeal Cookie and Purple Mountain Majesty
    Gina L.

The delicious ice cream any time of the year. Stopped by for a late dessert around 8:30pm. Huge variety of sampleable flavors. There's usually a question on the back wall you can answer, and the friendly employees will confirm whether you're correct or wrong. I got a Purple Mountain Majesty and Oatmeal Cookie in a waffle cone, and loved every bite of it. PMM had bits of taro, and the chunks of choco-covered raspberry cups were great surprises every few bites. I have soft spot for oatmeal in ice cream, and their Oatmeal Cookie was fantastic as well - cinnamony with a nice oaty flavor. My friend and I opted to sit outside in Adirondack chairs rather the indoor chairs and tables until they started closing up shop. Delicious ice cream, friendly staff, and plenty of seating.

Let me preface this by saying we absolutely love Josh and John's and go all the time. Tonight we had a very weird experience where 3 of my 5 kids ordered regulars and got served scoops the size of a kids small. When I asked the server about it he said That's how big the regular sized cones are. Just doesn't sit right paying almost $40 for 1/2 the amount of ice cream we ordered.

    Lots of options

Always stop for ice cream after a performance. My girl had a college audition and we needed an after audition treat. This place was spot on perfect! We got the regular sized cups. They also have kid, small and large as well as waffle cones/bowls. There were shakes and sundaes on the menu but we needed scoops! My husband had Strawberry, I had Mocha Java Jolt (OMG) and my daughter had Yellow Cake. The ice cream is really creamy and delicious. You can tell that time and care went into making it. If you are in the area and in need of a wonderful sweet treat, stop in here.

Nothing below... 2-3 spoonfuls eaten and this is all he got.

We love Josh and John's, but yesterday was a tipping point for us. The ice cream is delicious and the quality is there. However when it comes to the scoops it is so inconsistent between employees and between a single employee themself it is beyond frustrating. My husband ordered a waffle cone and he said the employee didn't ask the size of the scoop. We assumed at least a small, but it was less than small. It was the size of their kiddie scoop. In the picture we are attaching, my husband took two spoonfuls before I snapped the picture and you can see where the ice cream was touching. We made it to the stop sign outside of the store before he finished (usually at least takes 10 minutes) and that was maybe 5 spoonfuls of ice cream total and he was taking his time. He never wants to confront the worker, but if the ice cream was too hard to scoop, is that a reason to give a small amount? Why would any grown man order a waffle cone to be filled with a kiddie size amount of ice cream? This is wrong. My son who also ordered a waffle cone with a small scoop got at least 3-4 times the amount of ice cream (same scooper) than my husband. How did she not even notice the lack that she gave my husband? Why weigh it? The lack of consistency here is beyond comprehension and frustration. We have recommended many people here and even brought our family from out of town. No more. How can we attach ourselves to a store that is inconsistent?

Brought a large group up to Josh and John's for a Sunday treat. Our scooper Avery was so friendly and served everyone with a big smile. What a doll. She recommended her favorite flavors and patiently let us sample.

Super tasty ice cream with lots of fun flavors. Friendly staff and located in a super neat area. Will definitely look forward to exploring more of their flavors. Very nice they have gluten free choices for my wife and they squeezed 3 flavors into a cup for me!!

It's right in the middle of all the shopping and food, surrounded by other dessert places, but this one definitely stands out. Their ice cream is made in-house, and it sounds like they rotate flavors regularly, which is always a good sign. I went with a double chocolate flavor, and wow--it was phenomenal. It had that perfect balance of sweetness with a slight rich bitterness that real chocolate lovers will appreciate. I'm pretty sure there were brownie chunks mixed in too, which made it even better. Everything tasted fresh, super creamy, and really hit the spot. On top of that, the shop itself is small, cute, and sits right on the corner--perfect for stopping by while exploring the area. Definitely worth checking out if you're in Fort Collins, especially if you're a chocolate fan like me!

They have a small but interesting selection of flavors, varied enough to appeal to kid and adult palates alike. On the recommendation of the server I decided to try the rhubarb jasmine pop. I was a little concerned that it might be too tart, but she explained that the rhubarb is caramelized before freezing into the popsicle. It turned out to be just the right amount of slightly sweet, not cloying in the least. I don't know that I got any notes of jasmine, perhaps because the rhubarb flavor was so front-and-center, but I really enjoyed it nonetheless.
