I am going to leave three stars instead of a much lower score it probably deserves because I could tell they are short staffed. That said, I travel a lot for work and have stopped by many Sonic locations on my travels. This one had to be the worst I've encountered to date. I ordered online so I could grab the food and eat on the way back to OKC from Alva. It took 30 minutes after I arrived to get my order and my drink was wrong. The sign says under new management. We stopped for some afternoon treats. They couldn't get our order right and even came to our car to take the order. App payment wouldn't work- they suggested restart our phone. The only money I had was $100 for a $25 bill. They cried about making change. The blizzards were not as ordered. A 20 minute wait for ketchup salt and pepper packets that I ask for when I ordered in the stall and are printed as directed on the receipt I was instructed to go through the drive-through and by the time I actually got those three very simple things handed to me with a very insincere apology my food was cold! SO we decided to go for a quick dessert, they did warn me it was going to be a wait because they were backed up. I appreciated the warning ahead of time in case we were in a hurry...luckily we were not so I went with the waffleberry brownie sonic blast, and the boys went with classic Oreo and Reese's peanut butter cup. Well I was going to write a bad review about this Sonic but I changed my mind based on the way the manager handled the complaint. Basically we ordered two drinks and they said it would take 15 minutes to get food so we just ordered the drinks. It took 20 minutes and we never got the drinks so we just left. I filed a complaint on the website and the manager contacted me within 24 hours and refunded the purchase and explained that they are short staffed and trying to hire more people. I give them a 5 star rating for the exceptional customer service and contacting me quickly and resolving the problem. I may never visit this store again but they were very helpful (we were on a 5 hour roadtrip going back to Texas) read more

If "Sonic" is a reference to the speed of sound, they really missed the mark at this place, as they are slow, and often hard to communicate with. The place wasn't always so terrible. It seems they just don't care anymore. read more

I don't even want to give this restaurant one star. I've never been to a restaurant before and witnessed the workers care so little. The place is always a filthy mess. My last visit to this place, the order board had a chili cheese dog smeared all over it. I can imagine coming from the guy who was fed up with his order being wrong YET AGAIN. Let me enlighten you on fast food places. Most people come in with that "goodie" attitude in their voice. I've gone to this Sonic for the 31 years that I've lived here. When I go there, I treat the employees as an equal to myself, and am kind and friendly with them. I have a great experience, and great service. Remember that saying, "you reap what you sow?" Try being kind and friendly and make fun conversation with the employees. You might figure out, you're no better than they are, you just think you are. This is a tough job, hearing the words "I want" about 50 times an hour. Try, "i'd like, please," with a friendly voice, and say "Thank You"! Ya might find this place is a great place to visit. AWFUL! This is how much gravy we received in the chicken basket. They should have to eat this food! It was so gross. It tasted like it had sat under a warmer for a few days. Yuck! Seeing there are not any newer reviews I figured I'd talk about my experience tonight... I understand they are hiring new staff and managers but it's no excuse for the wait time and food... I ordered off of the app and had ordered about 50$ worth and also left a good amount of time Before pick up so it could get done. When I checked in at the time that I put on the app I waited another 20 minutes for it to be delivered... and I was unimpressed. I checked to make sure I had everything which I did and was already on more of a time crunch so I headed to my destination. Once unpacking all the food and handing it out we were less than satisfied. The quarter pound double SHOULD only come with cheese, pickels, two patty's, cheese, and sauce...mine was loaded with onions, lettuce, tomatoes and no sauce, not to mention ice cold. Then a Bacon Sonic cheeseburger I ordered had NO beef patty whatsoever and was also freezing cold. I wanted to try the new chicken slinger and I was really disappointed! I asked to add cheese on it( which it even showed on the receipt) there was none both of the brioche buns were black and hard and the sandwich didn't look anything like the picture. It was a chicken strip with lettuce and spicy ranch... on the app it says it comes with pickles, spicy ranch and chicken filet. Not what I had!! THEN! I had ordered some wings for others and the chicken was so hard that it broke the forks.... I used to work at a sonic and other fast food so Ik it can be stressful in the kitchen but that's no excuse for bad food and not being able to read. Fast food is supposed to be quicker for a reason, it's cheap and easy! Nobody wants to wait forever for bad food! $50 in the trash... I guess I will only ever go to sonic for drinks from now on, which is sad cause I love sonic and usually it is at least okay. Highly dissatisfied! Slow service. The coffee is terrible! I ordered a French vanilla. It should have a sweet taste to it. I normally never order from this particle Sonic. It might be because one of my Facebook friends posted a picture of a junior breakfast burrito with a smash fly in the outside of the tortilla. I guess I am not a fly person. Can I give less than one star? I waited 20 minutes for two drinks. I can only assume the Lincoln Navigator in front of me had a catered meal for 40 ordered. I sat at the actual delivery window for 4 minutes before someone was able to talk to me/deliver my drinks. The people were obviously hustling but they were short staffed. Management must be the issue. You can't tell me it is impossible to find more or better help when Taco Mayo is across the street and has 5 stars on here. Sonic has had this problem since I was in high school, I think it's time they ironed out their problems. My drink was goodish though. read more
