The burger was thick, juicy, and a lot more than I could eat. Didn't even make it to the french fries

The staff was attentive, helpful, and polite. I came on a weekday afternoon, and there was no wait. The food tasted great and arrived warm and as ordered. Price was average for a diner. There's a large parking lot with electric chargers. The location is right off the highway, easy on and easy off, not a long detour.

This diner/restaurant/bar/gift shop along historic Rt. 66 is an ode to Lucille Hamon, the "Mother…read moreof the Mother Road". (You can view Lucille's historic gas station down the road a piece in Hydro, OK) The gift shop is directly at the entrance. Walk through the gift shop to the right to enter the diner area. Walk left for the restaurant. Walk left then take a sharp right for the bar. The diner area is bright and sunny with 1950's style metal, red and white, tables and chairs. The restaurant side is dark wood booths. Both are full service. Both have the same menu. Menu is basic fare: salad, burgers, sandwiches with a couple of entree options. Staff were all pleasant. Gift shop includes post cards, hats and other Rt. 66 memorabilia. Parking around building with handicap spots by the door.
