The employee working was young- probably her first job and I recognized this immediately. She tried to give me an incorrect order, however she had also already entered my debit card. This ensued panic for her. Not a big deal but she didn't know how to fix it and the cars were now lining up. She insisted I just pay the lesser price and she will correct it later and pay the difference. I gave her $2 knowing it would cover my more expensive meal. And then I asked for the receipt for what I paid and her response, "Do you really need to have a receipt?" My response was "yes, I'm on a work trip." I did add that any receipt would be fine because I only need to claim a meal. After a deep breath she handed me one that I'm pretty sure she found lying on the floor. But it worked out.
