Ok, well, let's start off with the positives; very nice lot design and signage. Well maintained. Many bays to experience the " Drive -In ". That's what they are known for. The old traditional Drive -In that served awesome food, milkshakes and cool beverages. They use to deliver those out with roller skates on , cool Hats and awesome uniforms. Some of us still remember the "good ol days". This location has the "theme" down. But they don't provide the same Service anymore. They do have a very extensive menu, so if you are not familiar with it, I'd say look at it online first. The drive thru was completely slammed. It did take some time. I just ordered a fun drink: added cherry to my coke product. They were nice on the drive up, patient enough but the exchange part, total miss. Not rude but not friendly either. I was looking over the other reviews, and who expects a "charismatic" person working for minimum wage at a super busy fast food joint in a slammed area? That's a bit unrealistic. But I can't mention food, I didn't order. Overall, I love the "theme", I felt the restaurant itself was well cared for. ^^^ They need to improve their wait times and exchanges with customers at the pick up window. I did have a much better experience in the great state of Georgia, but I'd like to have another one as well in the Great City of Cicero. Zero stars because I ordered 4 blast off door dash. The Dasher drops off 2. I ordered 1 brownie with hot fudge (came with 4 brownie crumbs and no hot fudge!) 3 Reese's blast (only 1 came!) I am very disappointed in the service received. I ordered 2 cherry limeade with extra cherry syrup and extra lime. I was charged $2.76 extra. The attendant was in a hurry when he brought my order out and my drinks looked very light for a cherry drink. We drove off to find out not a cherry in the drink fruit or syrup. I was so disappointed. I dont mind paying extra for what I want but I have a problem when incompetent employees don't care to do things right. Waited nearly 40 minutes for food placed on the mobile app. Went through the drive thru to see if the food was coming, the girl was confused and said to pull up to the window, went to the window and the guy was confused as to what we wanted. My sister ordered a cream slush that came with hair. We understand that these things happen and since she saw the hair before drinking it we just asked for a new one. Then before I left I went to the drive thru to order a cream slush. To my surprise as I left and was sipping on it there was Reese's pieces in my cherry cream slush. The worst service I tried to order the #11 and first they didn't want to give me all what comes with the texas toast, tots and onion rings I didn't fight over it but when they doesn't want to give you even the dipping sauce!! Come on people the menu said something it includes all that and I was going to pay for it. When they come to charge us I tell them about the dipping sauce and the guy comeback telling me I need to pay .33 cents each sauce when the menu said it comes already with them. This Sonic is definitely consistent... consistently the worst Sonic experience you could ever have! From wrong orders, to cold soggy food, to waiting 20 minutes for an order of just two drinks, to "lost" in-app orders... it's just too bad that it's the only one in this entire area of the city. Been here a few times now, and the service is totally horrible. The fact that it takes forever to get your food to you is just the tip of the iceberg. No one seems to know anything about when/if orders are coming and my order gets mixed up about half the time. The chicken sandwich patty is hard and tough. It was exhausting to chew through, the burgers often fall apart immediately after you open the packaging, and the hotdogs come out soggy much of the time... the food has been cold 6 out of the 7 times I've been here. read more

Always takes so long for someone to take your order after you hit red button so service has always been slow however what made me come and write a review is Twice I have gone and they say they are out of ice cream? Finally, got to try out Sonic since we were in the area. When we got the food, I didn't have high hopes. I think most items are just sitting under a heat lamp. Food came out pretty quick. Asiago Caeser Grilled Chicken Sandwich Combo - My guy said it was okay. Sonic Cheeseburger - I was surprised the cheese wasn't even melted. It was okay, nothing really special. Chili Cheese Tots - This did not look appetizing at all (check photo), but it wasn't bad. Cherry Lime Slushie - OMG! I loved this.....so sad I got a small. I like Sonic. I don't eat here enough but I do enjoy there food. I like the concept of the drive in. It is different and unique. My favorite thing to get is the jalapeno burger. It is just the right amount of space and flavor . Sonic has many good deals during the week and have excellent commercials. I would recommend them. read more

This location is definitely reliable since it's open 24/7. That said I wouldn't come here if you're in a hurry because your orders may take some time. We ordered two Route 44s and it took a pretty extensive amount of time to get our drinks.
