very rarely Yelp, but I have to tell of my experience this evening. I go to Sonic for a drink before work, and sometimes get food for my family and I, but this left a very bitter taste in my mouth (pun intended). I placed a order at 5:14 in the drive through and at 5:42 received my order with much confusion going on in the kitchen. I pulled over to check the food and (accidentally ripping the bag a little at the top) saw that none of the items were mine. There was a double bacon cheese burger and other items not mine. So I pulled around to a stall and told them it was wrong. A man came out asking what I had and after verifying my order and taking the old order from me went inside to fix the order. After waiting another 10-12 minutes my "correct" order was brought to me. When the young man gave it to me and quickly apologized and walking away I went to set the bag next to me and realised it was the same bag I had given with the old order, and since the bag was already torn and greasy it ripped completely apart covering my lap and car in food. I went ahead and left because I was not going to spend anymore time there. Upon arriving home I went to inspect the burgers to find, they had pulled apart the old double cheeseburger and made 2 burgers! They were cold, along with both tater tots. So I called and the man who had originally taken the corrected order answered, i explained everything to him. He apologized and said they were so super busy and they should had never done that, admitting they had made the old burger into 2 new ones. He then said he would take my name and i can come by tomorrow and get a new order. I informed him that I would be uncomfortable doing that because I wouldn't want anyone spitting in my food or anything. He stated they would never do anything like that to which I replied that they were willing to this to our food tonight! I am very disappointed, disgusted, annoyed that I paid for that mess. Just wanted to give a fair warning to everyone. Sorry it was a long post, but wanted to give the details. read more
