if i could give zero stars i would me n my partner try and give this place multiple chances but never going again last time we went we waited about 45 minutes for our order which was just two medium cheeseburger meals & ice cream but definitely got it immediately after a different person went inside and complained after sitting longer then us smh. Our food was cold & the ice cream was warm and completely watery melted like it had been sitting there for the whole time we were waiting.. keep in mind place wasn't busy at all i see why the business is the way it is we had them remake the ice cream and it was out in probably 3 minutes which shows it doesn't take long to run out food and or make it this place is ran with just laziness & this time we attempted drive through for just 2 mini blast and we were waiting about 10 minutes annnnd low and behold the ice cream was liquid but kinda like it was mixed in the milkshake machine instead of blast machine i wonder how many people are waiting for this place to get shut down cus i definitely am. I can't believe I've never reviewed this place as often as I have been here over the years. Service has always been fast for me here. I don't think I've every used the drive through except maybe once. I almost always use a pull in parking spot and order from the huge menu in each stall. I chose the south side facing away from the core building. My view was watching the goings on inside Belle Tire service bays. Some guys had to push one car back out of a bay. Today I ordered a #10 Combo meal from the menu which is a Crispy Chicken Sandwich. I picked Tater Tots to go with it. The menu photo is somewhat deceiving in that my piece of chicken was really thick in the center. More than say what a chicken tender might have been. It was a pretty good sandwich. The tater tots were right on the money. And my server didn't forget to offer me ketchup. read more

Yummy. I just recently found this place thanks to their scrumptious TV commercials. My favorite is the Fritos chili burritos. That is a must try. Sonic has a cute little setup kind of reminds me of a 50s restaurant hop, not that I was round in the 50s but I do remember the show Happy Days. You can pull up to an individual stall with a menu and order, and somebody will run you out your food. Sonic also has a general drive-thru line like the one that's pictured below that I went through. Sonic has been hitting it out of the park for me, lately. Lots of new employees with fantastic customer service, makes for a pleasant experience. I'm back to loving the free Route 44 drink (basically an extra large) that you get for checking in on Yelp. They stopped asking to take my phone from me so they could take it back to show a manager, and I greatly appreciate that. Stopped in today to treat myself to one of my favorite snacks...a small cheese stick and a Cherry Coke. With my freebie coupon, my total is $3.01. Man, I love a deal! read more

Every time I visit this place it's short staffed. I waited 30 minutes in line for a hotdog (there were two cars ahead of me that didn't order much). Keep one drive thru open and shut the rest down if you can't keep up with orders. Being short staffed can't be controlled, but training your employees to do their best is. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. We don't have a Sonic at home and while traveling we stopped for food. The fries were absolutely cold and so were the burgers. I called and asked them to bring us fresh food and they did. The food was exactly the same. $20 bucks wasted. It was thrown away and we left. Sonic has official lost my business. read more

we ordered the footlong chili cheese dog, quarter pound double cheeseburger, jumbo popcorn chicken combo with tots and a cherry limeade. the chili cheese dog was the best we have ever had. the burger was also amazing. the pickles were so good. the chicken and tots were both very warm and crispy. so delicious! the cherry limeade was so refreshing and good. the lady who took our order was very kind and efficient. food came out very quickly! the overall ambiance is very fun and a clean environment. we would definitely recommend and we will definitely be back soon! read more

The service here could not be worse. Two of the last four times I've been here I have left the line. Once after ordering in the drive through line and waiting 30 minutes after ordering and still having another person in front of me waiting on their order. And just now after waiting in line for a few minutes; deciding maybe it would be quicker to pull into a bay and waiting a few minutes in the bay for our order to be taken and then giving up and going to Wendy's. By the time we drove to Wendy's, ordered, and got our order, the person that was in front of us in the Sonic drive through had not even made it close to the window to get their order. Management at this place is obviously severely lacking by either not having enough staff or not training the staff they do have. read more

I normally love Sonic, but had an unfortunate experience with this location. One night after work I stopped by to grab some dinner and was excited to try their new Crispy Tender Dinner. I got the three piece dinner, but after I ordered there was around a half hour wait in the drive thru. Which would have been fine since I'm more than willing to be patient for fresh food, but when I received the food I had ordered it was old and seemed to have been sitting around for quite a while. The chicken was three very small pieces that seemed to be burned and stale. The toast that came with it was also old and seemed dried out. On the plus side, the signature sauce that comes with it was delicious. The hash brown rounds were also pretty good. I should also mention that the staff, was very friendly despite the rest of my experience. So to summarize, I wouldn't recommend skipping Sonic as a choice - just their chicken tender dinner. read more

Sooooo slow. We went here to order one of their custard concoctions. The drive-through was packed and move along at a snail's pace. When we were the next in line, a young lady ended up bringing our dessert out to us, took our money, and brought us change. That sped things up a bit finally. The custard was just okay. I'm not so sure I am a fan of the dark chocolate that pairs with the Oreos. I absolutely LOVE Oreos and ice cream, and this just didn't wow me. I love Sonic however the Sonic in Camby, In is poorly managed. I've been twice this week and both times service was extremely slow, employees were standing around chatting and the manager was present. When ordering corn dogs and a coconut cream pie shake, I asked for ketchup to be brought with the order. 20 minute wait and then was told ketchup was in the bag, it wasn't. Requested ketchup and was told there would be a 30 minute wait for all new orders. I just needed ketchup that should have been with my order. It took another 15 minutes for ketchup. My coconut cream pie shake was an Oreo peanut butter melted shake. So close to what I ordered. Sad really because we do like Sonic. read more

Holy Shit in the middle of a Covid-19 pandemic I get a half eaten chicken bacon sandwhich brought to my car with my order of food. I turned my car around and went up and requested a manager. I state to her she needs to open that just like i did and she says no way we dont take food back. I said yes way. I said so where'd it come from she said well there is a hundred bags in here. ( so you put half eaten food with peoples food being served in a middle of a pandemic). All she said is sorry and ill throw it away. I will be calling cooperate, the health dept. Never had a bad experience here. It's a bit out of the way for me, but if I'm feeling a Sonic run they don't disappoint. Food certainly isn't gourmet level, but it gets the job done and they've always gotten my orders right. The drinks are where Sonic knocks it out of the park - really great options that you can't get too many other places. I love that there's a drive thru option as well as the carports. Not a lot of seating at this location, but I don't know if I'd really want to sit outside and hang out in this area. We just stopped by for a quick snack while house-hunting. I ordered the breakfast burrito with bacon, sausage, egg, and cheese. It was terrible. The sausage was the lowest-grade meat, and they did not put any bacon inside the burrito. My girlfriend had the cheese-sticks, which were "mediocre". I would not eat here again. I've been here at random times the past few years since it's the closest one to the far southside, and a few good friends live nearby (so its almost a pit stop on my way to them!).
