Daughter had specific request for Sonic popcorn chicken, tots and a limeade slushy. I never think about Sonic, and never get it. Since I was there, was gonna get myself something too. Pulled up to the bay to order and was immediately told " we're accepting cash only". Excuse me? I didn't think I'd heard correctly. I never carry a lot of cash, so no lunch (from Sonic) for mom. Fortunately, I had a $5, 5 $1s and some change at the bottom of my purse to pay the $10.37 for a frickin chicken nugget meal. What establishment nowadays doesn't have other payment methods? read more

I honestly don't know why I tried this location again, after the awful experience I had last time. I knew better than to even go through the drive thru but the location is closest to home. The lady that took my order was great but the woman at the window tonight, about 8:30pm is absolutely terrible. She won't look at you, won't speak to you and she handed two shakes to me, just like pictured. You mean to tell me you can't even wipe it off? You handed it to me knowing good and well that it was this messy. The most messed up part is that she didn't hand me or even offer napkins. And if I wasn't so afraid to be yelled at and treated even more like trash, I would've asked for some. I don't know why this restaurant doesn't care about presentation or professionalism. What exactly are the franchise owners doing about this? Obviously nothing since it's the same girl that I reported about her terrible treatment last time... and still, I am treated the exact same way. This location absolutely sucks. And I know very well about all I speak about because where I work, I am held to a VERY high standard in the way I greet, wait on customers and the presentation out the window. Shame on you, Sonic. Do better. Actually, do so much better. read more

Sonic Drive-In - Medium vanilla shake - Burgers Near Me - Belleville, Illinois

Used the ap and ordered 2 teas one with peach one with extra raspberry. Took 30 minutes after we got there for them to bring them out. The peach one had no peach in it from what we could tell and the raspberry had so much it was overly sweet. The kid bringing out the items couldn't walk any slower to the cars while looking at his phone. Definitely does not care anything about his job in the least. Also, no receipt given. read more

absolute slowest fast food of your life LOLLL milkshake will take 40 min and come out melted, and a soda will take them 30.

At 6:30pm on Thursday 11/20/2025 we pulled into the drive through and was immediately told there was a system problems and she'd be with us soon. We waited maybe 5 minutes started driving away when we saw a male w/a badge around of his neck get out of a parked van on the passenger side, then a female with a headset on out of the drivers side. They were obviously the Sonic workers! Unacceptable! read more

The service is faster than it was in prior years. The food is always good here and the lower than average prices are much appreciated. I love the variety of their menu. This time I got the dirty Coke Zero with coconut lime - oh yeah read more

worst fucking sonic ever. we sat here for 20 minutes and clicked the button 3 times and a truck who pulled up after us got their food before we even got to order. absolutely disgraceful. our food wasn't even good either. The customer service here is horrible too. everyone is so rude. read more

A lot of the kiosks don't work at this location. And the wait time is sooooo long. By the time you get your slushy it's melted.

Me and my wife both think that Sonic has the best fast food burgers now days. She gets a cheesy bacon Sonic stack and I get the cheesy bacon super Sonic stack and we are both happy. The service is fast and efficient at the Belleville IL location. Thanks Sonic! read more

I'm sorry for your inconvenience, we are only taking drive-through orders today. What amount of laziness has to exist for someone to choose to not take an order from the parked cars ? I would understand if there was only one employee and they could not leave the interior of the restaurant. That was not the case today I could clearly see employees standing around. It appears play customer service in the past. What's more disturbing? Is that restaurant owners don't seem to care. Do business owners really not care about P&L ? Sorry Sonic... We're all at Rally's read more

food is fine ambiance okay very difficult ordering on line it's now two hours later and nothing will go through on the internet and no one answers the phone. i need delivery!!!!! read more

One star is way too generous. While sitting in line, the aroma of weed, garbage, and a homeless gentleman that was begging for money, sadly, he probably works harder than the employees here. Just another restaurant destined to close in Belleville. Good thing fast food workers are making more an hour now for less work. Good job. read more

After seeing so many negative reviews online I had been hesitant about going to this location. However, I have placed two mobile orders here in the past month and my experience has been great. I didn't have a wait in the drive thru, my food and drinks were good, and the staff was friendly. read more

refused to give me a side of pickle and crushed my hopes and dreams of a pickle dr. pepper. 0/10

If I could give a zero I would. Waited 40 minutes for food only to be missing something. Took another 6 minutes to get help to alert staff and now it will be at least a 10 minute wait to correct the order. If you value your time, do not come here. read more

I agree with the guy who hates. Sonic he's right they are terrible but he should not call them bitches. Face reality it's in Belleville il only young kids work there no one older lie steak n shake in Belleville il they closed them down but I agree that there terrible n rude staff bit once in a while foods good especially shakes read more

Have to write this review since all reviews are bad. Just had lunch. Double sonic burger was good and ordered a coney dog with coney sauce and cheese on the side and added pickles and onions on the side also. Now that could be a disaster waiting to happen. Everything was perfect. The girl that took my order and handed it to me was very professional and nice to boot. TY read more

The service here is always slow. I ordered a blast and only received toppings at the top. I called up. And was asked, "what would you like me to do about it?" I responded, "If I could get a coupon for another one, that would be great." They said they could only replace it same day. So why ask what I want them to do about it? It just seemed highly disrespectful and inconsiderate. read more

i'm not one to get on fast food works but please tell me how you take 10 mins to make a shake? crazy

Worst place ever!!! They are quick to take your order and rush you off without "and what else would you like" OR "is there anything else" just straight RUDE! This is EXACTLY why I will NEVER vote for people to get higher pay in these kinds of jobs. RIDICULOUS look at the size of this shit! (look at photo I posted) Oh and the drink had NOTHING but ice and BARELY any tea. Thanks for the shitty service bitch I will NEVER come here again. Dear owner check you workers, they are causing you to lose money. They don't even deserve ONE star for a rating! read more

Sonic Drive-In - Worst place ever!! Crappy service, shitty food. They don't deserve the amount of pay to work at this place! #firethosefucks #donteathere - Burgers Near Me - Belleville, Illinois

TERRIBLE SERVICE. I mean you never know what's going on in someone's life, but In the work-place you aren't supposed to show it. The lady that brought out our food had a bad attitude and didn't say one thing to us expect our total for the order and she said it with an attitude. Then rolled her eyes and the list goes on. Oh last thing she vigorously slapped the change in our hand and walked away. Lol read more

Slow unbelievable slow molasses moves faster food is good but you lose half of your life waiting

Every time I come to this location I have to wait a long time to get my food. You would think for the service they have they would get better staff to handle it. read more

I normally cannot go wrong with a fountain soda BUT their drinks taste like they are made with dirty water. Disgusting!! I ordered a large Powerade, Diet Coke and Dr.Pepper and they were all gross. I won't be going back. This is the first time I have used Yelp and did so because it was that bad. read more

Me and my love went to Sonic for a bite to eat and we both ordered our meals and asked for large fries and large drink and when we got to the window we was presented with Small drinks and I told her I ordered our drinks large and she wasn't happy at all she seemed like she wanted to charge me and was very out of it. Then once we got our meals we was presented with medium fries and they was hard and we was not offered the .99 large drink special sonic was offering today only. read more

Slow, slow, slow. These people working the drive through that I seen 3 people behind me leave. When I ordered, I repeated my order twice to the lady taking it and after almost 20 minutes of waiting at the window, I get my food and I didn't even get what I ordered. This is the worst fast food location on this street. Waste of money and my time. read more

I live close to here and often go here. The service is sometimes slow, but the food and drinks are always really well made. My favorite is the grape or peach cream slush. Some other locations make it a bit weaker, but here it's always perfect. I had to come on here and write this because all the negative reviews. Don't know what that is all about. I've never had a bad experience, but I go knowing I might have to wait a bit. I've seen at least one person get mad and drive off because they were mad about having to wait. read more

Awful. In addition to waiting a long time in the drive thru, I received a dead fly in my sonic blast at this Sonic. I usually love to eat at Sonic but I will never be visiting this location ever again. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE. I used to absolutey love sonic in Texas. But here it's like a joke. You'll wait 20 minutes for your order to be brought to you when there is only like 2 other people there. On top of that? It's poor quality! Every time I've been to this one they either mess up the order or burn the food. Very disappointed. read more
