He said he had to have the serial number. Many stores can pull up proof of a gift card's use. When I called first, he said that if I had taken a picture of it ,with the serial number, that he would not have honored it . Yet , then I went in, thinking he would recognize me and be helpful . He said he had to have the serial number. There was nothing that he would do to honor the $30. I even asked him to check with the owner. He wouldn't do that. Unfortunately, I have never felt that they have been good with understanding customer service. I think one should greet your customers, and offer to take the wine out. The lady, who's mostly in the beer side has always been wonderful, and I've told her, how I have felt. I will not be going back.

This was one of those occasions where I decided to pop into the beer and wine side. Upon entry, there was no attention to the customers, but I was like whatever good customer service isn't always the standard anymore especially when the employees are on their cellphones. Again, no big deal. I figured hey someone one I got in would speak and offer assistance. Instead, the employees looked at me as if I had on an orange jumpsuit in shackles. It was really weird and uncomfortable. I tried to power through it just to get what I needed but then with not being offered help and being uncomfortable with people looking at me like I was on the most recent episode of America's Most Wanted, I just left to go get what I needed elsewhere. Totally unfortunate because once upon a time I really favored Bottles, and it had been a while since my last visit, but never did it feel like this one.
