Me and my husband stopped in for some slushees and chili cheese fries. I'm pregnant and have been craving it for so long. They bring us our slushees and they didn't even mix the flavoring in and brought us straight ice !!!? I just came in through the drive through for a coke during happy hour and I can't complain much for a $1.08 Large beverage! Both the lady taking my order and the girl who brought my drink out were polite and quick. The entrance is difficult to get in and out of, but it's always been like that. The drive through can sometimes be quicker since you don't have to back out of the parking spot. read more

So my husband and I decided on sonic for dinner the other night around 8 pm. To go through the drive through should not take 30 minutes at a fast food chain with only 3 cars ahead of me. Even for made fresh, which sonic is not. The just assemble everything when ordered. The customer service was pretty bad, the order taker had no personality what so ever and just spewed out the order without repeating it back, which sonic should do every time with their reputation for messing up orders. The girl at the window did not communicate at all while I was waiting for my food . And then the food was cold when I got it, but my order was at least right. Which is why they get 1 Star. This place doesn't even deserve a star. Every single time my husband and I go here to get a m&m blast they always get our order incorrect and serve it to us literally melted. We'll politely ask if they can remake our order and they always give us a hard time giving us excuses on why our ice cream is melted when we can clearly see them just standing around with our ice cream just sitting there. had them remake it and they still come out like shit. Service was wonderful, but food is not as good as it used to be. Burger was smaller and not very hot. Fries were cold. Shake had so much whipped cream I couldn't taste anything else. read more

Long time cherry lover, short time sonic lover. Look man. I've been goin to sonic four years. 99.9% of the reason I go is for the route 44 cherry limeade. Went through the Drive-Thru anticipating purchasing 4 slushees and a bag of ice. But was rudely rushed of the intercom, by worker. I then parked behind a car waiting at the window, got out my car and knocked on the door to tell the employee that the young lady disrespectfully the ended my order and the order was not even correct. She instructed me to pull around and park so she may correct my order, I did as instructed (waited 5 minutes). The only reason this is getting 2 stars instead of 1 is the order taker was nice and the car hop was very sweet too. I'm not a fast food person but recently moving to Alvin there are very few choices. I used to work at Sonic 25 years ago and they used to serve good food. I'm literally appalled that someone would serve the quality of food given to me. The tater tots were so oily and had brown burnt particles on them and they even put cheese on these particles and served them to me (see photo) and there was floating grease in the tater tray. Now my burger was so charred and over cooked it was black !!! It was really burnt to a crisp and inedible. I called the manager who was very nice and she said they didn't do it on purpose and she'd talk with them. They did do it on purpose because they had to lay cheese on top of the tots and that means they saw that and left it. I'm sickened by the laziness of the cooks and the fact they can't even send out a decent product !! Being busy is NO excuse !!! read more

I love this location. It's greasy fast food. a little expensive, but it's a fun treat for yourself or your kids.

Was there today like everyday to get my sonic sweet tea and slush. Went through the drive thru , one of the little blonde girl in her late teen, working the drive thru, was making my drink, as i was watching from my window, she drop the lids to the drink, put it back on the table and then put it on my cup when she was done making it,,, So gross!!!!! ! Drop on the floor and put it in on my drink, Oh no ! !!!I told her after she gave me my drinks and her excuses was that she drop it but she took the top lid that she drop..
