Jeff Putterman is genuinely the best in business: from his historical knowledge base in the neighborhoods he represents, to his insights into the buildings, and especially his invaluable relationships with other agents in the city. Jeff will tell you like it is, and always be extremely clear and thorough. I can say with full certainty that he will take care of you as he did my husband and I in our apartment hunt. As first time home buyers, I felt the NYC real estate market to be crazy and very predatory. But having Jeff in my corner made me feel very empowered in every decision I made in this process as a young POC woman. I had a LOT of questions and zero insight into this journey and Jeff met all my curiosity with understanding and resources. Any time I had any questions (genuinely any time and any question), Jeff was there in multiple modalities to help me completely understand all aspects of my inquiries. Jeff made me feel welcome and educated through every single step of the way and unlike other realtors did not pressure us about a single thing. His one goal is to find you a home you love. I had some specific wants coming into the process, and Jeff was wonderful and supportive in the time it might take to find the perfect place and so knowledgeable about the buildings and boards in Jackson Heights so I always viewed any apartment with all the information. We found a place much sooner than expected but the application and finalizing process took quite long, and Jeff was such a helpful and patient guide through it all. I couldn't be happier as I write this from my new apartment, and I can't recommend Jeff enough.

I can't say enough good things about Benjamin Realty. I found them by answering an ad they had…read moreplaced on Craigslist for an apartment. Benjamin called me back (by calling me back, he was already a step ahead of many of the brokers I contacted) and we made an appointment to meet at their office. As a side note, parking is pretty convenient - plenty of meters out front or on the nearest side street, and free on the block behind the office. When I arrived, Benjamin greeted me and we chatted for a moment, and then he indicated that Jason would be taking me to see a couple of places. I had indicated that I was on a tight schedule in regards to finding a place, and they told me they would find me something that day. Jason was friendly, warm, professional, humorous, and unbelievably helpful. I was fairly clear in my own mind what I wanted in an apartment, but, being new to New York and knowing absolutely nothing about Queens, was open in regards to what neighborhood I ended up in as well as some other factors. I have no idea how many apartments we looked at, but it seemed like a lot. Jason was respectful in regards to what I was looking for in an apartment - he even thanked me when I nixed a place based on the creepy hallway (I would have looked at it, but he was having trouble getting a hold of the super). And they were good on their promise - the last place they showed me, I liked, and I came back two days later to put in an application. Fortunately, I did not get accepted to that apartment. Jason asked whether I'd want to see studios and I said that I really didn't, but he encouraged me to take a look at this one place and he would check to see if he had anything else available. When I arrived for our second appointment, I said that I REALLY didn't want to see the studio but he encouraged me to do so anyway. I have had many great experiences with salespeople who encourage me to try something slightly different than what I was originally looking for - if they are really great at their job, they really do know what they are talking about! We arrived at the studio - in yet another neighborhood - and it had been listed incorrectly - it was a one bedroom! And it was more perfect than I could have hoped for. I applied for it right away and was accepted. Throughout the process, both Benjamin and Jason were professional, friendly and helpful. They were also great at following up, keeping their promises, and being on time. They have fee and no-fee apartments - mine had a fee, and it was worth every penny!

Our entire experience securing our amazing new apartment - from first email inquiry to the signing of the lease - was made seamless and pleasant thanks to Glenn. We saw the apartment (a total steal) and signed the lease within one week. Glenn was incredibly responsive - always a quick text or email away. He's a machine - always ready to jump into action! It was the first time I was dealing with real state people. This guy took 100 dollars to do the credit check. I was pretty sure i was going to get the apartment since my credit was excellent 780 points and I have an income of 60,000 dollars and it was only 1,100 dollars for an studio apt. He told me first it was going to take 5 days to get the credit check but it finally took 2 weeks and on January 29th he told me that we were not approved I asked him why. He never gave a clear reason he just said. "It was landlord deccision and it was gave it to somebody else" i asked him if i can get a copy of my credit check. He denied to do it. I check my credit later and there was no inquire in my credit. That means they never run the credit report and who knows how many people he did the same thing. Please be careful with this guy. He is a theft

After hearing about our friend's experience, my wife and I decided to reach out to Lily Tran to sell our Queens co-op. From the very first interaction, we knew that we were in good hands. She is very knowledgeable about the real estate market and gave us a fair assessment of the apartment. Lily and her team was hands on with helping us get our place staged for photos so the online listing would draw some interest. We didn't expect much but we were blown away with the photos and the ultimate listing (including the description). Though it took several weeks of open houses and showing, the end result was Lily was able to sell our co-op (it happened to be a time where the real estate market was on the downturn due to rising interest rates). We were kept up to speed every step of the way, Lily was in constant communication with us at every step and made us feel at ease. Since we had such a wonderful experience, we also utilized Lily's company to help us buy our next home. Michelle was our realtor. She was patient and was very knowledgeable with the Queens real estate market. She took the time to understand our needs and setup appointments with prospective properties. After many months of looking, we were finally able to close on our new home with Michelle's help. Thanks so much Lily, Michelle, Cindy, Jade and team!

It became extremely evident that the minute we changed to a different realtor we were able to sell the property within one month and for the price we wanted. We had a much better personal, to the point, one on one communication without the nonsense redundant spam emails and had no issue with open houses. Its all smoke and mirrors. You are lucky that your careless realtor did not break the 2k AC unit. It's never wise to push any electronics to the limit. You are responsible if you break it. Just a friendly reminder. A good salesperson would never say the things she did. It's always better to accept your mistakes and see if you can do better in the future. This way, at least I could recommend you to others but I cannot due to your lack of effort and acknowledgement. Having too much pride is not the best way to improve business. If anyone in the area is looking for a good realtor please feel free to DM for info, I'm happy to recommend a good sales person. Lily Tran, I would never hire you or your team or recommend your business to anyone. Sorry.
