But will take about 3 weeks to get here & I have a project I've been itching to do for weeks already! So Mr. Nick was great in knowing what I meant when asking for an external spool holder & grabbed me one, showed me the best way to position it. I thought I'd have to drop my machine off in order for them to order the part but they did! When I got home, I realized there were several missing parts: presser foot and needle, encoders, and power cord for encoders. After being assured by the owner many times that they would be mailed to me, which never happened, I now find that they are out of business. No wonder! I was told lie after lie about the part being ordered, and then about the missing parts being mailed to me. Interestingly, the part that was supposedly needed turned out NOT to be the problem. Another shop repaired it, and I had to purchase replacements for the parts that the Sewing Shop lost or misplaced! Now that they are no longer in business, at least no other customers will experience what I have experienced. No star at all for this shop!

He measured and marked the pants, and took my payment with indifference. On the day of the scheduled pickup, I was called to come in and have the pants re-marked for alteration. Sometime during the time the measurements were made and the pickup time was scheduled, the person who was actually going to hem the pants discovered what appeared to be random tailoring marks, making it impossible for her to know where to hem them. It was stated that no mark on a leg matched any mark on the other leg. When I came in to get re-measured, I was greeted well, and the gentleman who did the measuring was very considerate, asking me several questions about the occasion to which I would be wearing the pants, and while the pants were being altered, brought me a bottle of chilled water and engaged me in pleasant conversation. If not for the first visit, I would be giving this establishment a 5-star rating. Perhaps the person who I interacted with first was just having a bad day.
