I am certainly glad to know that a place like this exists for people who need muffins, cakes, brownies, cookies or cupcakes that fit their specific food needs. Having said that, I am neither gluten-free or vegan so I care most about the taste of how a product is. If it is on the healthier side then great, but I'm okay indulging now and then. I got the gluten-free, organic glazed blueberry lemon muffin. The muffin was gigantic so even though it was on the pricier side it has quality ingredients and I think you get what you pay for. I liked the glazed top of the muffin and there was a lot of blueberries in it. I didn't really get much of a lemon flavor at all, which I was a bit disappointed about. The actual storefront is not a place where you can sit and enjoy your baked good, it is more of a grab and go sort of place as it is tiny and right by a gas station. I almost didn't see the spot since it is kind of tucked next to the actual other shopping center it is in. The interior is not super cute and nice as I picture any bakery to be, it looks a little worn. The staff there were friendly and I was happy with the service I got. My opinion is that if you have a dietary restriction this is a great place to come but otherwise it just wasn't my cup of tea since I've enjoyed baked goods from other places more than here.

Having never been here before, it was very nice that the staff took the time to show me everything they had, including what was vegan. Almost everything was vegan-friendly, except for a couple of items containing cheese. Being vegan, I don't often get to enjoy chocolatey baked goods, but their Choco-Holoc muffin was quite good. It was both flavorful and moist. My favorite treat was the Oatmeal Dream Pie. The oatmeal cookies were surprisingly good, very soft and chewy. The cream filling was nothing short of amazing. Other notes are that everything is soy-free and most (if not all?) of the ingredients they use are organic as well. I highly recommend The Wild Muffin and I'll definitely come back!

You absolutely must try the French crueler! Even before I knew I had celiac, I can't recall ever having a donut this delicious. As you can see - I have purchased quite a few. (Not pictured, but their gluten free soft pretzels are also divine! One of my most missed foods) Worth every penny. Worth the drive if you live in Nashville proper.

And I knew from following them on Instagram, that they often sell out of items early. I was really hoping if be able to snag a crueller, however, I was too late. I've not had one since going gluten free over 15 years ago. This was the best apple friter I've had. The guava pastry (cannot remember the proper name) was delicious as well. If you are planning a trip, do your best to arrive as early as possible. Prices were decent. The baker helped me woth questions, and was quite helpful, sorry I didnt catch their name.

The inside of the store is clean and cute without being overcrowded. It's the perfect little bake shop to pop into for a treat. I tried their tiramisu cheesecake which was delicious! The layers of whipped cream, crust, and cheesecake were perfectly balanced in every bite. The cheesecake was perfectly fluffy and sweet without being overwhelming. It was a perfect slice of cheesecake! I also tried their red velvet cake slice which was disappointing to say the least. It was the worst slice of cake I've ever had. The cake itself was bland and tasted like lightly sweetened bread. The frosting was not cream cheese frosting. It tasted like straight whipped cream cheese. The texture and flavor were both off. I was so surprised by how bad it was (especially with how delicious their cheesecake is) that I made a couple of friends try it to figure out what was wrong. This may have been an off day, but if this is their actual recipe I'd stay clear of their cakes and only purchase their cheesecakes.

I arrived early around 8:00 a.m. on a Saturday and immediately noticed a steady stream of people pulling up, grabbing bakes, and heading out. The staff was incredibly cheerful and welcoming, especially for a busy Saturday morning and I really appreciate that. The bakery's display case looked stunning, with every pastry and cookies looking more tempting than the last. I spotted a gorgeous mango croissant that caught my eye, though I decided to save that one for a return trip. I really appreciate a bakery that offers a great balance between savory and sweet options. Our order included an Everything Bagel Croissant, a Prosciutto Croissant, an Almond Chocolate Croissant, and a Monkey Bread. The Everything Bagel Croissant was an absolute genius combination. With a dollop of cream cheese right in the center and everything bagel seasoning on top, it brought the absolute best of my two favorite breakfast worlds together. The Prosciutto Croissant apparently tasted good, my husband claimed! On the sweet side, I thought the Almond Chocolate Croissant was decent. The frangipane was tasty, though a bit on the sweeter side, and I wish there was a bit more dark chocolate to balance that sweetness out. The real star of the show for me, however, was the Monkey Bread. It was gooey, pillowy, incredibly generous with the caramel, and loaded with sticky pecans. It felt like total perfection. I am definitely returning soon to try more.

They had a solid selection of pastries available, though no cookies that morning (I've had them here before, so I was a little disappointed to miss those). I took it home and warmed it up before sharing it with my family, and that definitely made a difference, it was excellent warm. I don't think it would've had the same impact eaten cold. Service was quick, in-and-out in just a few minutes. I didn't notice much in terms of seating, so it seems more grab-and-go than a place to linger. Overall, simple visit but a very strong cinnamon roll recommendation.
