I am…read morefairly new to the area so both Seacoast Physical Therapy and Dr. Cecily Cannon were both new to me. Back was making it hard for me to walk short distances. It was also impossible to walk upright. I am now upright (for the most part) and have been going to the gym for 3 weeks now 3-4 times a week. That would have not been possible without Seacoast. A lot of my gym routine is similar to what my rehab was. I am now starting to check in less with Seacoast. I slowed down there with a commitment from Matt to have the gym contact him anytime with any questions, concerns or updates. Matt had expectations for performance from me that ramped up as my body started to heal. Their rehabilitation regimen, I found to be quite effective. He is young, professional, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. Also, the rest of the staff at Seacoast are great! Thank you Shannon, Nancy, Ann Marie and Matt. If you are broke go see them. They will fix you!

Hayes has an innate sense of understanding of the body and trauma. More importantly, he gives a great individualized approach to gaining strength and balance, reducing pain, and restoring confidence. He always has some new and exciting therapies and/or exercises that seem to both challenge and build my balance and strength. The center itself is also a fitness center, complete with a therapy pool. Not the type for laps, but the type for aquatic exercise. There is a plethora of equipment to use, from free weights and Cybex to stationary bikes and treadmills.

Dr. Timothy Bruhl has been my chiropractor for 15 years. Clearly I'm a fan. He has dedicatedly…read morefixed/worked on almost every member of my family. When my daughter's tailbone got turned around in a sledding mishap, he very calmly soothed her hysteria and slowly worked the tailbone back where it belongs over the course of two weeks and then released her from treatment. When my son had raging sinus infections Dr. Bruhl worked with his head and neck draining the sinuses, providing much relief, and then released him from treatment. When I've had injuries and injuries, he manages my situation to the best of his ability and eventually releases me from treatment. The common thread here is that Dr. Bruhl releases the patient from treatment when their situation is resolved. To me that is different than any other chiropractor I know of or have heard of in my lifetime. It seems to me chiropractors like to keep the patients coming back in forever, or until their insurance runs out. The only negative, and it's not really that much of a negative, about this office is the office hours. That said, I'm writing this review after I have left his office for an emergency treatment directly following an injury on a Saturday afternoon. That is great service.

While he was working at Reform Physical Therapy as a therapist and manager I'm happy to see he is opening his own business now in Kennebunk. A massage friend and DPT professor had recommended him to me after experiencing ankle sprain issues. He wasn't available at the time since was the most frequently requested therapist there. I ended up going to Saco PT in Wells and while I did get some decent work, they do have frequent turnover of therapists and seem to be double booked many times. After a January '25 hip replacement I was successful getting all 14 appts. with Bobby for recovery PT. What I liked: - Dedicated 1:1 apts on time.....no double booked sessions with another client. This means he's attentive to your form while you're doing exercises as opposed to previous experience I've had with other therapists who are working with another patient while you do your exercises or trying to catch up on the previous patient's paperwork. - Provided manual therapy to assist in the muscle recovery needed as a result of the operation. Not just exercises - Listens well and adjusts exercises to adapt to capability level - Bobby's upbeat positive attitude - Is very knowledgeable about the surgery, and all the modalities beneficial to the recovery process - Provides varied exercises while in-house as well as a manageable assortment of exercises for home use. - Is easy to reach for questions. I will be having my 2nd hip replacement in May this year and have already pre-booked recovery sessions with Bobby at KPT. Unfortunately with his new practice, PT referrals from docs will need to be submitted by clients themselves to be reimbursed as his practice doesn't accept insurance. To be honest, I don't blame him, as dealing with insurance companies would probably require another hire to process. On the positive side, his appointments will be for a full hour where Bobby can work on other body areas that have issues, not just the issues identified on the referral. In addition, he does offer a 10-visit bundle package that will reduce the cost a bit. I've decided to book with Bobby despite this insurance hassle I'll have for reimbursement due to his exceptional expertise and attentiveness. He's earned all the acronyms listed after his name. I look forward to working with Bobby again as my personal coach to recovery in May.

I felt totally cared for with his care for my shoulder and then my first Knee PT and again on my second Knee PT. I am trying to get back to my pre injury self and Booby id committed to help me through this. We wish him luck in his new venture on his own. We have no doubt with his care concern and knowledge he will exceed beyond his dreams. The personal attention to your health is key without sending you off to an unexperienced attendee to help you connect your equipment. My first appointment included x-rays and a scan to identify the problem area. Dr. Newton was very detailed in explaining what he saw, the treatment he would give, a timeline and even insurance coverage. When I arrived for my treatments, they were always on time and efficient. I was feeling better in no time at all. Precision is a good name for this practice as Dr. Newton is very precise, targeting the area in need. I learned quite quickly that he is a very detail oriented person so I was not surprised to read on his website that he was Valedictorian of his class.
