I came in to treat my neuropathy which was going to be unbearable while we were on vacation in the UK in a few weeks from when I started treatment. I was able.to enjoy the vacation with my family to the fullest because my feet did not hurt. My Healthcare plan did not cover anything of this treatment. I paid out of pocket. And it was not inexpensive but the cost is minimal compared to the meds and the long term outlook when taking the drugs that the doctors reach for. The staff is great and the doctor is very good.

I have mentioned the injury to doctors for all twenty of those years and no one has ever listened. Dr. Bechtel immediately said "let's look more at that." He took one like and went "is it here?" And without even searching the musculature immediately found where the pain was. He built a schedule for me that ramps down. Unlike a lot of other chiropractors, they aren't looking for me to be a patient forever; they want to get me feeling better. And 5 weeks in I'm walking better than I have in years. I cannot recommend this office enough.

I had a frozen shoulder ( which is quite painful!) that began a few months after I took a very hard fall. Dr Lou treated me with adjustments and acupuncture. Frozen shoulder takes 1-3 years to heal. I was moving my shoulder with much less pain and slowly increased range of motion within a couple of months! My sports medicine physician recommended the acupuncture for the pain. I'm here to say it works! I'm 8 months into my frozen shoulder diagnosis and I'm 99% better! Range of motion is back and the pain is minor at worst. The mild pain is the only thing that keeps me from saying I'm 100%. I know that will go away in time. I TRUST Dr Lou and if you go to him, I know you will too.

I have unfortunately had lots of back pain throughout my life so I have gone to chiropractors for a long time living most of the year in Westchester County just north of NYC. And the chiropractor I have there is amazing. I have a house in Wells, near Sanford, and have been coming up here all my life, but have never needed any help with my back when I have been up in Maine, but recently for some reason I have had tingling all along my right side. I was so worried about it that I even went to the hospital here to check if I was having a stroke. I was a little wary of going to a new chiropractor here in Maine since I love mine in NY, but I worked with Dr. Brett Cole at Brink Chiropractic clinic and he was amazing! He spent so much time with me working to diagnose where my problems were stemming from and then once he had figured it out, all along the way he checked to see that I was okay when he did any kind of stretch or adjustment. He was so caring and so professional. He did not rush and I felt so cared for and after spending almost 1 1/2 hours with him, I felt so much better and have continued to feel better the whole day. He reassured me that what we were doing together would help my issues and he talked to me about stretches that I can do to help with my issues going forward. For two weeks I have been worried that my issues were related to something more than just my back and my shoulder pain and after working with Dr. Cole I feel so much better after just one session. I feel more like my old self and I am reassured that the issues that I have can be helped with the stretches that he recommended and by going back for more treatments with him. I cannot recommend Brink Chiropractic, and from my experience, Dr. Brett Cole, enough.

I recently had an episode where I *thought* I had a pinched nerve etc. as I was driving to his office it just got progressively worse. upon arriving I wasn't a pretty sight. I highly recommend him & his staff. Laura, autumn and I dont recall the other ladies name at the front desk (so sorry) they are always professional. And have always been honest with me.

When I've had injuries and injuries, he manages my situation to the best of his ability and eventually releases me from treatment. The common thread here is that Dr. Bruhl releases the patient from treatment when their situation is resolved. To me that is different than any other chiropractor I know of or have heard of in my lifetime. It seems to me chiropractors like to keep the patients coming back in forever, or until their insurance runs out. The only negative, and it's not really that much of a negative, about this office is the office hours. That said, I'm writing this review after I have left his office for an emergency treatment directly following an injury on a Saturday afternoon. That is great service.
