I've been living here are Somerset apartments for over 3 years now and it has only been a pleasure. Strictly reviewing Somerset management and staff, they really do deserve a 5 star rating. If I have to pick the best thing about this place practically, it has to be the attentiveness of the staff. Bring up a problem that needs to be addressed and it gets fixed. It's an awesome experience as a tenant.
Here are things to look forward to:
- Welcoming front office staff
- Monthly news letters
- Occasional neighborhood events
- Outstanding maintenance crew (you call them about a problem, they'll take care of it! QUICK to respond)
- Month of month (great for maintaining a peaceful neighborhood for their tenants)
- Security
- Gated community with periodic code changes
- Competitive rent pricing for what you get
- Referral bonus
- Never had any lasting insect problems (I say this because I had a few incidents like a hornet nest and termites, but the staff took care of it the same day. I told them in the morning, by the time I was back from work it was all done.)
- Timely maintenance (Scheduled maintenance actually happens here and on time. HVAC maintenance like filter changes)
- Safe
-- Although we had a couple of small incidents, the staff took this VERY seriously. They hired a security guard, they had the Chino Police provide an orientation, they change the gate combination, and they notified all the tenants of the incident.
- Clean (landscaping and garbage area is kept extremely clean)
- Quiet
The neighbors around are textbook friendly people. It's a bit jarring coming from a more uptight community. People genuinely smile and greet you. It's generally occupied by elderly couples and new families.
The City of Chino was a surprise for me. Some of the restaurant chains I'd often visit back where I used to live are no competition for the caliber of quality that Chino provides. I grown to love living here in the "hidden gem" of Chino. I'll be seriously missing this place once I move this year. ;___; read more
