They had a great way of leading us into amazing shots and poses but still allowing for natural, organic interactions making beautiful candids. What you have to remember, they will only take what they need!!! I brought in a ralph lauren dress last fall they passed on, but they took it yesterday. Don't bring in your whole closet, try to keep to a bag or basket. they usually only take current fashion -although did see a pair of polo flip flops from twenty years ago, i used to buy at Marshalls for 10.00 so they do seem to make some exceptions. Consignment is a tough business, these ladies make it work, it's a nice shop. :)

Everything was fine at first while the employee looked up my phone number, but out of nowhere they said they couldn't accept the return because the pants "smelled." That accusation was completely false -- the pants had been in my mom's car and had no odor whatsoever. I felt completely judged based on my appearance and unfairly stereotyped. Maybe the hoodie I was wearing had a faint smell or my boyfriend's cigarette smoke lingered, but the pants themselves were clean and unused. When that excuse didn't hold up, they suddenly claimed they couldn't take the return because the fabric fastener wasn't attached to the tag -- which felt like they were just looking for another reason to deny it. After calling corporate, I was told the store manager accused me of lying, and that corporate couldn't override the store's decision because "all merchandise must be sellable." It's disappointing that a billion-dollar company would treat a customer this way over a simple $30 return. Corporate offered an insulting 25% off next purchase coupon as a "resolution." The entire experience was humiliating and frustrating. I'll never shop at H&M again and will be sharing my experience with others so they know how poorly customers are treated here.
