She looked it up on her phone and it showed 2 Mystery Boxes in stock. She showed us where they would be but as luck would have it, they were not there. Our granddaughter wants 2 specific characters so the mystery box is not an option yet. She has gotten mystery boxes of other brands' characters and is always excited about opening them as long as she already has the characters that are important to her. I visited to grocery section to look for Good & Gather Confetti Cake oatmeal. I received a free sample of it recently and loved it! Target is the only store I know of that sells it and they had it in stock. I was very happy! I'm not normally an oatmeal eater but this stuff is too good! When we entered the store, the line was really long. Luckily for us, it was much shorter by the time we were ready to check out. TIP: The long line is for the self-checkout to only. You can walk right up to any of the cashiers that are open. It isn't the most efficient checkout experience & is the main reason I don't shop there often. They carry good quality products that I really like so I do venture in occasionally. The employees are always very pleasant and helpful, and the store is always clean & tidy.

Some of the workers are rude and when you ask them to help find an item. They don't want to assist you but just tell you it's over there and points finger in a direction. Driving around the…read moreoutside you can see numerous businesses that have closed and not been replaced, including a Sears, what looked like a Ruby Tuesday's or some similar restaurant, and a Bob's (wow!). You can see many additional empty stores as you walk around on the inside. On the plus side, it's very clean inside, and the stores that are here are still nice and varied. It's a pleasant place to shop if they have what you're seeking (which, fortunately for me, they did). The outside parking area is huge, and the outside of the access road tends to have new big box stores and hotels. As empty as it is, I've seen worse, and I've also seen other malls and shopping centers bounce back from worse, so perhaps there's still hope here.

There are two levels and parking was plentiful. The anchor stores are Macy's, JCPenney, Barnes and Noble, to name a few. They have plenty of restaurants and fast food in the food court. There's a carousel which reminded me of Warwick Mall in RI; however it was $5 per ride which is pretty pricey. My toddlers loved the play area; for some reason, that area was super hot when we went. The mall also reminded me of Aventura mall in Florida. I've never seen a tattoo shop in a mall but they have that. They also have a dentist office, hair salon, nail salon, spa, and eyebrow salon. A hotel is nearby. I loved that they had a dollar store in there too. You can pretty much spend a couple of hours there and it has most of your lifestyle needs. The perfect place to walk around in when it's too hot , too cold, raining, and/or snowing out. The place wasn't too crazy packed either, so it was an enjoyable experience.

There are some great dining options that you don't see everywhere (although Ted's has been lackluster in the past), plus treat options like the famous Munson's, to give you a break to refuel on your shopping spree. This is a great place to catch up with friends or just get some errands done in a more relaxed and glamorous environment than an indoor mall.

I love their bison burgers, hot fries and the salmon dinner are my go to's . There are so many wonderful shops that offer great service. The JCrew factory outlet is fab. Hill is a staple for me. I picked up some seasonal tops for myself as well as my granddaughter so we can be matchy-matchy. They had a good selection of tops in the $9.99 - 12.99 price range. I picked up a couple of those as well as a dressier top that was over $40. It hurt to pay that but hubby said to go ahead since I liked it so much. My sweet man! Anyway... we found some pajama sets that are super soft! Other clothing items that I won't mention since they are gifts. I love that they have a dedicated section for petites right next to the fitting rooms. We shopped here from 10 pm until they closed at midnight. The employees were as nice as always despite it being so late. The store was very tidy despite the parking lot being packed 1-2 hours prior to our arrival.

They sell home items and women's clothing, there's isn't a men's or children's section in Anthropologie. I can only imagine, if they had a kids section, how dreamy it would be. I like the South Windsor store, because it's generally easier to navigate and it's much less busy then the Westfarms location. I immediately gravitate towards the home section, the mugs, the dishes, the decorative towels, all sorts of nicknacks. Anthropologie is a costly store, particularly their clothing, a lot of it is in bold prints, and heavy fabrics, it's either for a particular occasion or a specific type of dresser. However, their home items are very much my style, and they're more appropriately priced, and can sometimes be found on sale. The staff is always pleasant, they've helped me locate and order an item they didn't have in stock. Right now during the holidays, the store is so tastefully decorated, and the ornaments they sell are really sweet! I love this store, I if you don't buy anything, just enjoy looking at all the lovely things!
